Would you recommend the Lian Li PC-011 DYNAMIC (regular size) for 30$ more than this one? (prices in my country) so the Lian li is a bit more expensive. Im nt really sure yet
I feel like this case is almost identical to that case except this case allows you to have 200mm fans. So technically this case is better than the Lian li O11D (but not better than the 011D XL)
You're being too hard on this case. Every case has its flaws and also pros. Seem like you're picking out every single thing that is considered a con no matter how small the imperfection it is. I built computers since 2000, and this case by far one of the best design cases that I have the pleasure to built on. It is well thought out and sure there are some things that are not perfect but so do every other case out there.
Truth be told, i would have not recommended it if it was total garbage. That being said, as an experienced PC builder, the small imperfections and design flaws will never stop annoying me. Every flaw I see, I will call it as i see it. If i do recall, I do compliment this case in many ways. It is not trash, however it is nowhere near perfect. Many of Thermantake's designs are like that. It is up to a system builder to decide if they can live with those flaws or quirks. Thank you for the feedback. -Austin

Probably an ARBG splitter cable. Because the controller has proprietary connectors, for this specific case, and it only controls the included fans, if you wanted more fans with pretty lights then you would have to get a cable for that. Coolermaster makes one for about 25 dollars on newegg. -Austin
Ah sorry im a week late. In the box is a manual. It should be a paper copy. Itll have everything that should connect to wherever it goes. If you dont know where it plugs into on your motherboard, there's also a manual. Sometimes motherboards have their manuals online so you may have to use your phone. To get it basically running, (just powered on) youll be looking at "Power +" and "Power -". It may also say just "+" and "-". Those two plugs will match up with your motherboard, usually on the bottom right corner. There's alother pair or wires labeled "LED+" and "LED-" this is for the power light. Dont use that one. I hope this helps, sorry for thr late reply. -Austin
20:06 DAMN IT! Thermaltake why the heck didnt you slide that hard drive cage down closer to the PSU! Look at all that wasted space! You couldve easily added another frigging 2x hard drive cage just like the lian li O11D XL! *sigh* This makes me so angry. If they only added that second hard drive cage AND somehow put that PSU up in the show case with everything else so it wasnt hidden away.. I would buy this case in a heart beat. Thats Thermaltake for you. I swear they do this on purpose. They refuse to build an excellent case because they know no one will buy another case after that so they purposely build half-way decent cases that will never fulfill all your needs. And its not just Thermaltake that does this. Its all the damn case companies out there. I know this is done on purpose because its not a coincidence all the case companies refuse to build a case to do what I just said. 4 drives and PSU up in the show room with all the other components. Yes the P8 and the P5 have done this with their PSU, but they have no decent drive storage. I mean come on Thermaltake even Corsair was able to squeeze in 3x 3.5" drives in the storage compartment on the 680X (AND 4 2.5" drives right on top of them). This case is basically a better version of the Lian Li O11D. Better because it offers better cooling with the vents and offer 200mm fans whereas Lian Li 011D doesnt offer 200mm fans. I wish it did or I would buy that in a heart beat because it has the 4x drives hot swap cages in the back. I'm still case hunting and after seeing this case I'm starting to think I should either not buy a new case yet and pray Thermaltake gets their shit together or buy one and deal with the fact I'll be selling it to buy a new one when Thermaltake comes out with the "XL" version of this case offering 4x 3.5" drive storage. Seriously All they have to do is put that entire side of this with the extra 2x 3.5" drive cages onto the P8 or even the P5 and they will have a case that will dominate the market. Its go the venting, the PSU being showed off, the drive storage, the crisp clean glass all around, and room for 3 radiators
That would be contingent on your component selection. Short answer: most of the time. If you have a system that isnt putting out high heat, then you should be fine. If you have fans in almost every available spot, then maybe. If you were planning to do liquid cooling with two radiators, either CLC or open loop, then you should be generally fine. This trend continues on almost every thermaltake case you will see on the market. Hope this helps. -Austin
The saddest part is that, they didn't include any dust mesh for top and front 😂 why? intakes without filters? I was about to buy it but then found about it doesn't have mesh dust filters so...now a NO for me.
Truth be told, most filters on modern cases do little to prevent dust from getting in your system. Personally, i'd rather have open airflow with no filters, because then i can use my air compressor when i clean my computers annually. (Liquid loops) this is just my opinion on the matter though. Thanks for commenting. -Austin
I honestly cant remember. I had one lying around for this build. I do know that phanteks, thermaltake, and lian li are all respectable brands for reliable risers. Be cautions about risers used for gpu mining; they usually limit a 16x slot to 1x speeds so its not optimal for gaming or just normal use. Hope this helps. -Austin
Other reviews arent as critical about the flaws of cases. They primarily focus on aesthetics and RGB as primary features. We believe that someone should know both the god and bad about the case and that is why we named it as such. -Austin
Honestly it depends on your hardware and how you're using the case. If your configuration is pushing a TDP of about 600 watts or more on air cooling, then the fans will probably do little. If you are using water cooling, then you should put your radiator on the top because airflow will probably suffer. The included fans are also trash. They are there to look pretty. So I guess yeah it does hurt the case but it would only be noticeable if your computer is pushing a lot of heat. -Austin
I've had the case for over a year or so.....I just use the 3 fans stock...no overclocking with a Ryzen 3950 and 2060 GPU....no temp issues for me in Modern Warfare, GTA5 etc.
The music was depressing. Like critiquing a funeral or something. I bought this case for all the room it has to build in and the large area in the back to hide the cables. Mine is white without the tint on the glass. I don’t know why anyone wants tint on the glass because to me it hides the beauty inside the case. I also have an Corsair crystal 570x RGB case that’s got just a slight tint and that’s ok but some are way to dark for me. All that money spent on RGB goes to waste. I’m going remove all 3 of the fans that come with this case and replace them with better Thermaltake ring 20 RGB fans. I’m also going to use a Corsair Commander Pro and install 140mm and 120mm Corsair QL Double Ring fans. Mounting a NZXT X73 Kraken AIO Cooler on the side with fans front and back to pull fresh air in. Also mounting fans on top and bottom and rear for exhaust. So front and side pulling in fresh cool air and top bottom and rear for exhaust. Should be ok. I’m also painting the entire case with different colors of neon high gloss paint. It’s gonna really pop with 15 RGB fans and that neon paint. Inside the case will be sprayed with 2X Glitter metal flake silver. It will look like a disco inside this case.
That sounds awesome man. Unless it is for pure aesthetics, I personally wouldnt use Thermaltake fans. Personally i opt for Inwin fans. They are also rgb and have different sizes and pressure for radiators or just pure airflow. Still, super awesome to see peoples projects in the space. We have a discord link if you wanna share. -Austin
Got about 6 minutes into this "honest" review and realized that I'm just listening to a company hater. Should go into all reviews with an open mind instead of coming out of the gate and just talking about how much you hate the company. If you can't set biased opinions of a company aside, don't review their products.
Well thats actually wildly incorrect. I absolutely adore Thermaltake and their products previous to the RGB trend. Thermaltake is one of the only companies that will make products that nobody asked for. For the most part, that is how their company is so effective. These off the wall items become publicity and wacky niches in the PC realm. Currently, i own 3 Thermaltake cases and i do not regret my decision to purchase them. On one of them, I modded it until i couldn't mod it anymore (for performance reasons that werent nessecary. Theres a whole saga on it). My gripes are with some of the leadership of thermaltake. If you were to watch some footage of a live stream PR even with Thermaltake reps and Steve Burke from gamers nexus, you might understand how stubborn TT is to face the reality of their products. They don't take criticism at all and they refuse to change faults. So, if the company woulsnt loaten to the customers, I will do diligence as a reviewer and inform the customer about every bad thing i can find. Anything that could be potentially seen as negative, I will reveal. Because TT likes to pay reviewers to give biased RGB glam footage and call it a review. I am not payed by anyone so i dont play by those rules. I really enjoy comments like this. Dont think i'm upset because my smile is ear to ear as i type. On the inside vertical radiator Bracket I put 4 SSD's I just made 8 Brackets that hold the SSD's in place using the 140mm fan mounting holes I made them with my 3d Printer. Then I added 4 120mm Fans behind the SSD's for cooling. I used the two hard drive enclosure for 6tb Storage drives. Aslo if i need more SSD's I could do the same with the top mount. I also added 2 more SSD's on the top just drilled holes in the Top of the hard drive cage. Just Mod to fit your needs more!! If anyone is interested in the 3D printed Brackets just contact me through my UA-cam email.

@@gamingasadults9946 A huge , heavy and space - consuming case weighing 14.5 kilograms , serves exclusively for top - end hot assemblies . For powerful liquid cooling . There is simply no other reason to buy it . When the case costs 2 times more expensive than the processor that you have installed , is this your advice to a friend ? Your advice is very bad .
First off, puting a liquid loop in this case is a mistake because it is designed for thermaltake liquid cooling products designed by thermaltake. Secondly, you have no idea how hard my friend is or could be on products. And finally and most importantly, she liked the case because it is pretty. There was a budget and she decided to sacrifice on components that she would never fully utilize for more reasonable components. I did not tell her that this case was her only option. She chose this case among others. Why are you so upset that someone is happy with their product? It is compatible with air cooling and AIO's because water cooling isnt for everyone. Frankly, the maintenance would be overwhelming for her and she admitted that. The cost is also not justifiable for her use case. And that's most people's opinion on the matter. @@gamingasadults9946 To call this building beautiful , well , I don 't know . There are many glass cases more beautiful . In any case , this assembly looks out of place in this case . This is my opinion since I use this case myself.
Sounds to me like you're gate keeping. Might i recommend gate keeping a brand that understands how to measure temperature? Also, this build was over 2 years ago. At the time, most of those parts were fairly modest. It did have a raid 0. The GPU was pretty trash because there was a drought and a budget to keep. I have owned 3 Thermaltake cases made "specifically for high end water cooling". All 3 of them sucked because the ergonomics for design or the structure was not thought out. My wife's computer is obnoxious to move once its filled. The case in this video would be no different if it was liquid looped. If you want a "High end elite build" that is impossible to move, just build a server. It'll get you the same effect and you might be able to move it to another room. -Austin

I want you to know that your attempt at insulting me is making my day so much better. I would like you to continue.
@@gamingasadults9946 lol! *sniff* does bitting comentarry and sarcasm like yours come naturally?
i bought the case and for luck all the cons are not rlly important for my but nice review, it's cool to know the flaws
Right on man. And honestly, all these videos are just my opinions so take it for what its worth. -Austin
Would you recommend the Lian Li PC-011 DYNAMIC (regular size) for 30$ more than this one? (prices in my country) so the Lian li is a bit more expensive. Im nt really sure yet
I would say thats up to personal preference. It depends on what you are going to do with it. -Austin
-Austin
he is not hard on this video , after been use this view51 pc case ......today is 1year i brought this case.....and yes i have almost the same opinion as the one who make this video ......if only corsair 7000X/D have comeout faster ......i would never look at view51 really...and im using 3radiator setup.....it hard to work with
But if you don't care about vertical gpu mount... and don't care about reservoir for watercooler....
The whole thing was air cooled?...?

@@gamingasadults9946 I just have aio cpu cooler
Whats the cable you said doesnt come included and you need to get your own
Probably an ARBG splitter cable. Because the controller has proprietary connectors, for this specific case, and it only controls the included fans, if you wanted more fans with pretty lights then you would have to get a cable for that. Coolermaster makes one for about 25 dollars on newegg. -Austin
Some people. Just seems like they ready to say something bad about the case. This is one of them
Please help me. What stuff do I need to connect it/ start it!
-Austin
Can anyone confirm if you can fit a 420 rad anywhere?
According to Thermaltake's specifications, no. The max radiator you can go is a 360. Probably because there isn't room for inlet and outlet.
My Power Button glows !!
Hey thats awesome man. Maybe i just had a bad button. But still, i'm happy for you -Austin.
can you fit a 420mm aio cooler on this case?
You should be able to fit it either on the top or on the front. Check the manufacturer page for radiator thickness though. -Austin
Do I need to worry about airflow with this?
That would be contingent on your component selection. Short answer: most of the time. If you have a system that isnt putting out high heat, then you should be fine. If you have fans in almost every available spot, then maybe. If you were planning to do liquid cooling with two radiators, either CLC or open loop, then you should be generally fine. This trend continues on almost every thermaltake case you will see on the market. Hope this helps. -Austin
140 can the fan be installed back ?
I dont quite understand what youre asking. -Austin
@@gamingasadults9946 i think hes asking if a 140mm fan can be fitted at the back? i may be wrong.
Hi dear. Your top fan is set to intake right?
Quite frankly, i have no idea. In this build it isnt particularly important because this system doesnt make that much heat.
Hi, i unfortunately don't know the answer but i will have Austin come and let you know as soon as he is able.
-Jessica
hopefully my RTX 4090 is big enough to fit this case
Invest in high flow case fans. It may suffocate. I was concerned about putting a 3090 and 3080 in this case. -Austin
@@gamingasadults9946 3 intake on the side, 3 intake on the bottom. Top AIO exhaust, rear exhaust, front intake. Done.
-Austin
Sup bro want pcie riser did you use?
I honestly cant remember. I had one lying around for this build. I do know that phanteks, thermaltake, and lian li are all respectable brands for reliable risers. Be cautions about risers used for gpu mining; they usually limit a 16x slot to 1x speeds so its not optimal for gaming or just normal use. Hope this helps. -Austin
An Honest and detailed review lol. No we want you to be dishonest ?
Other reviews arent as critical about the flaws of cases. They primarily focus on aesthetics and RGB as primary features. We believe that someone should know both the god and bad about the case and that is why we named it as such. -Austin
Does the front fans not having vents hurt this at all
Honestly it depends on your hardware and how you're using the case.
-Austin
I've had the case for over a year or so.....I just use the 3 fans stock...no overclocking with a Ryzen 3950 and 2060 GPU....no temp issues for me in Modern Warfare, GTA5 etc.
lol, can i use this case for liquid cpu, air gpu, type cooling?
It depends on the thermal output of your GPU, if its something like a 470 with front fans blowing in you'll probably be ok.
-Austin
Just about that drainage Port... a good Cool loop has a drainage port where you can screw or stick a Hose on. Anything else is dumb.
-Austin
The Power Button Glow Check you power led connector Maybe you Reverse it
It was the header on the motherboard.
8:05 im afraid it does glow ;)
Yeah ive been informed that that unit was broken. It is what it is. The owner of thr system doesnt seem to mind though. -Austin
Is this the computer that got wet?
this is not that one. for you see, this computer has no fluid in it at all. it is entirely air cooled
I wasn’t sure, my mans was kinda drunk and saying way too many things lmao
If youve got questions or wanna pick my brain a little, we have a discord too

Mine glows. Yours must be bad.
There was something wrong with the motherboard header. We swapped out motherboards and now it works fully. -Austin
Just a bad video.
Thanks. -Austin
It's just me, or the entire case looks made from like a cheap metal plate :/
It is.
Vertical mount is dumb.
I dont believe you -Austin
@@gamingasadults9946 you don’t have to, just look on independent testing of vertical mount.
We are independent and we tested it. Looks great to me. It really works too. That GPU is in fact mounted. :D -Austin
Thats awesome man. Be careful about using 3D printed components because PLA and other filaments dont usually hold up well to time, heat, and vibration. Still though, super cool. Id love to see pictures if you wanna jump in our discord. -Austin
Buying such a case for such a cheap filling is ridiculous and posturing .
Well its a cheap case. Not in the matter of MSRP but definitely in terms of quality, development, ECT. In fact, the only reason I recommended this case for my friend was because it is made of steel and looks pretty; the pretty part really mattered to her. -Austin
Also, this is a pretty poor case. It is not for elite builds. -Austin
-Austin
btw .. you just attach another connector and a piece of flexible tubing through the hole .. its called a hose .. you put one end of a quick disconnect on the end of the ball valve, the other to the flexible tubing, click, and turn the handle ... right into a bucket .. its actually a pretty good idea .. the cover should have been better engineered for sure though .. I own this case .. the white version in particular .. and have a TON of custom water cooling in it .. i bought this to replace my aging Thermaltake Core 71 that i got 2nd hand ( great case for a LONG time, but NOT worth the current prices for it ) .. the white version is SO prone to scratching and smudging during building or moving or cleaning or dusting or ANYTHING really .. and YES .. FUCK THAT PUMP BRACKET .. you should SEE what it did to the paint on the bottom of the case when removing it for my other bracket .. had to go back in and touch it up .. the paint is SO thin and I would guess they didnt prime it either .. other than that ( in my opinion ) wrong idea you have about the drain port, I agree with you completely. The $150 USD ( plus shipping and taxes ) was NOT worth the price .. i got it going right and looking good, but WITHOUT using ANY of the control software / hardware or fans that make up the PREMIUM PRICE of this overall moderate case .. anyway .. enough of the rant .. kuddos my dude .. keep up the good work
Thanks for your input. I'd love to see what your build looks like. -Austin from Gaming as Adults
