      Try flipping the top fans, front fans & side fans around? Work for met, also cool your RAM.

      Great video. Why don't you just switch to a fractal north or any of the other more recent cases as there have been many great new cases lately.
      Also for AIOs, hardware canucks posted a video comparing many different AIOs around a week ago and they found that different coolers favor Intel and others AMD. Might be worth checking out.
      As for cases, personally I try to stick to cooler master, Lian li, fractal and comparable brands. Tried "cheaper" brands twice and regretted it twice

    Looks good. I avoid glass panel cases and always go for air flow ones, precisely because of this problem

    Nice to see a different video and I`m sure this will help a lot of ppl to better understand their rigs. Also I have a full glass case and it had the same issue which is not enough gap between the glass and the case but I was able to fix it by just replacing the standoffs that holds the glass panels with some longer ones, meaning glass is not a problem if there`s a 10mm to 15mm gap between it and the case.

    I'm all for modding a case for cheap. Luckily the case I mangled to fit a 280MM on top was an old Coolermaster case that had another cover over the top I could slot over my abominable cut and bang out job to make the room.
    I don't regret it, the 280MM Thermalright cooler is amazing for this 13700K. Thanks for the recommendation and review for that one. Handbrake use was giving me a bit too much noise on my old AK620.

    I did the same with custom plates on the view 51. Looks amazing and great temps. The modded case beats any other case in airflow.

    I have this chassis too & I am using Deepcool Ak620 Air Cooler, no Thermal Issues at all with Thermaltake view 51...

    I think anything beyond the 13700k on the Intel side just pulls too much electricity and gets too hot. The new 14900ks reportedly pulls over 600w to hit 6.2ghz under load at stock settings.
    That's insane.

    Intel pushed power to the limit, there's no headroom left for next gen. I have serious doubts about their ability to compete in the nearest future.

      Faster than Zen 4 in productivity and gaming on in-house, American made silicon. Sure, it's less efficient but it's on an older node. There is a possible future where Intel could be producing the silicon AMD uses for their CPUs/GPUs. However, ArrowLake needs to be really good if Intel wants to remain an enthusiast platform.

    • @beachslap7359
      @beachslap7359 9 місяців тому +2

      @@jjlw2378 it's the same performance as 7950x in productivity and slower than 7800x3d in gaming

    • @jjlw2378
      @jjlw2378 9 місяців тому

      @beachslap7359 It does both at the highest levels in 1 cpu. With AMD, you would need a 7950x for productivity and 7800x3d for gaming. It's better at both while using their own node. Producing your own silicon is the ultimate competitive edge.

    I have the same case with a r9 5950x and a thermaltake 420mm aio, i didnt take off the glass just put the radiator at the top, make some plastic covers to put in the right side of the radiator so the air wont come back from the back of the case got 3 fans in tha bottom 3 on the side the 2 200mm in the front all pulling air to the inside and 1 120mm in the back plus the 3 140mm on the radiator exhausting the hot air. My peak temp is 81c with pbo and co. I think the only desing flaw this case has is the top gap where the air can come back inside the case, it was like a 8 to 10c dif between have it open or have it covered

    Even though there’s solid front panel, the bottom intake and top exhaust should still provide a nice chimney effect

    • @DannyzReviews

      On the View 51 the top glass was just obstructing too much exhaust.

    Bro, it's about time for a custom loop for you. Take the dive. You'll be happy about it after you accomplish it. A 360 is not nearly enough for a 13900 14900K. I have 3-360s rads and it can get to between 80-90c anything less and you pretty much don't stand a chance and need to accept throttling auto or manually. Also you dumping all that heat into your case. All my rads are exhausted. It's crazy to throw 100 degrees air into your case. Speaking of case that case isn't good enough. I run a HAF700 and it's pretty much the king of cases in my opinion. My RAM is at 30-35 degrees. Consider swapping cooling and case it'll make all the difference you need and then some more even.

    • @DannyzReviews
      @DannyzReviews  9 місяців тому +1

      Did you watch the thermal tests portion of the video? Removing the glass fixed my issue and even running OCCT the CPU only peaks at around 80C with no throttling. Unless i was trying to go for an all-core 6GHz+ OC then a custom look would be warranted but I'm totally fine with the way it is now and have focused on memory tuning instead.

    • @xdi1733
      @xdi1733 9 місяців тому

      Is occt a 32 thread full load stability test? I have never used that one, I normally use Ycruncher and prime and sometimes cinebench for just a quick thermal test. I have watched all reviews for all of the AIOs on the market and I have never seen one that can keep a 13900 or 14900 k at 80 c. They all immediately shoot up to 100 and thermal throttle. For gaming yea no problem with AIO but if you're doing a full load on all 32 threads at 5.6/4.3 or 5.7/4.4 there's no such AIO at 360mm that can keep it in check especially after some heatsoak. Have you seen Paul's hardware or gamers Nexus review about the 14900k? It immediately ramps up to thermal throttle 100C so I don't understand what you mean. I'll rewatch the video maybe I missed something.
      Not to mention you're in first enforcing the stock Intel limits, I'm talking about letting it run full on no limits maxed out but stock clocks.

      @jameyt1 9 місяців тому

      @@xdi1733 only consumer-grade AIOs that can cool the 13900k/14900k at a mild OC is the LT720 or Galahad II Performance. Even then it's entirely dependent on how efficient your silicon is. I had a 420mm Arctic and it couldn't handle 300w after like 15 mins. Switching to the LT720 solved the problem

    This seems like garbage case design. No good case should require any tinkering, solid fan covers are just a no go for me.

    First mistake was buying anything that says "thermaltake" on it. Secod mistake was buying this specific piece of crap, there are cases with a lot of glass like the O11 vision, by adding few fans you can get decent cooling for such a stunning case.

      That cpu sucks for gaming. With an 14900k one can do everything well. Try running Pubg on that 7950x and an oc'd 14900k is one generation ahead.
