      So true! I have really bad digestion problems. I cannot breathe most of the time. I am not digesting foods properly because I do not have my gallbladder anymore. I think I don't have too much bile which is needed to digest food.

    The biggest thing I can say to everyone about your daily habits, & your subconscious that you have built because of how you were raised, you have the ability to change & grow. Your bad habits will talk to you, & it is up to you to talk yourself out of them. "No, I don't want it." I had to say this to myself for alcohol, & energy drinks. Take care, & find more ways to love yourself & be at peace.

      @@InkfullSanks22 I used to suffer from IBS. I suspect it was from mild damage caused by getting sick when traveling. I started taking a half a teaspoon of powdered turmeric mixed in 4 ounces of orange juice daily. I drank it through a straw. After years of IBS , in which I couldn’t drink water in the morning before taking my child to school, or I would have to stop at a restroom. I was able to heal myself. After several weeks of the turmeric and juice, I no longer had to run to the lavatory. I still use the turmeric powder, and sliced ginger root in a mango/ banana or pineapple smoothie. Buy ginger in bulk, slice it up, and peel it. You can keep it in a bag in your freezer. I even add it to my water bottle for extra cleansing effects, and protection from sickness. I swear by turmeric and ginger for stomach maladies.

    I have never thought of packaged/boxed food as old. I’m eating crackers, cookies, etc that are months old and full of preservatives. Wow, that is a new perspective on American food.

      @@harshpanthi low confidence is good because at last it gives you assurance that something is done in correct way and if not then the confidence level decreases and thinking about something is good as nikola tesla used to see his future projects in his dreams.
      Low confidence is is an advantage not a disadvantage.

    As a westerner who eats a non vegetarian diet around 10% of the time, (trying to be completely vegetarian soon) I can attest to the benefits of taking turmeric & neem together. I take it every morning, on an empty stomach with warm boiled water, and leave it at least half an hour to an hour before I eat breakfast. My stomach has felt much more settled, and I have had more energy and felt much better. Just this small change has made a large change to how my body feels. Thank you for sharing this information with us Sadhguru. 🙏🏻 much love to all 💕

    Same as hamburger : meat being acid & bun being alkaline, starch & protein don't mixed, they don't get digested so the body doesn't get any nutrients at all. What we got was gut with lots of bad bacteria, then people get sick.

    Mr Khadar advacates ambali( that is millets socked for 8 hours and cooked and allowed to forment for 8 hours will devlop good bactria) to keep the intestain healthy. Your statment of consuming with in onw and half hour after cooking are contrary. kindly advice

      Mix a tiny amount of turmeric with water and make a ball (about half the size of, say, a marble).
      Neem is a tropical tree (very common in India). If you have a tree, you can have a few leaves. It is best to chew little by little and have it in your mouth as long as possible. If you don't have a tree nearby, neem powder is sold at a few places (including IshaLife) to which you can add water and make a ball similar to turmeric

      ask God what to eat he will say FRUITS and gentle greens/vegetables that includes tomatoes etc. as 1 you exist frugivore anatomy. you can eat nuts but careful on the fat combining and of course put them in water first. 80% carbs from fruits for atheletes yogis and humans for health etc.

      My neighbour has a big neem tree, how many leave to mix wth turmeric? Do I blend them or mix it wth fresh neem leaves?
      Can it be consumed everyday for long term or just for short period of time??

    For a lot of people here in the states, healthy food is not sustainable in there money, having to replace healthy with enough food to make it to the next pay check is the priority. Sadly here we are most vulnerable. We need to have more affordable health foods.

    May I ask how you personally prepare the neem and turmeric balls? Are they made same like ladus?

      You can take neem leaves and crush it in a mortar and pestle and make small balls out of it and with turmeric if you have it in powdered form then add a little bit of water and make tiny balls and store it.
