    So that’s what a manual is for 😂!!! I agree with you about the compressor: it FEELS just right. And the Skar sounds great with that DG cab sim too… 👍🏻

    If it had a DI-out I would buy it. But so I wait for a Version 2.

    I just bought it after watching several videos, including yours. The pedal is very nice and the MID function exceptional, but it has a very high background noise. Why? You noticed it too? I understand from the web that this is a very common problem.

      I never gave it any thought- but I also tend to add a noise gate in the Two notes Cab M or the Darkglass Element 😅

      @@erikarko Thanks for the answer, but using a noise gate does not eat signal making lose a part of important frequencies?! Do you use any specific Noise Gate bass pedals?

    • @erikarko
      @erikarko  5 місяців тому

      @gabegroove No, those gates work really well on bass IMHO!

    När kommer en cover på Hakens nya album? Mer specifikt Elephants Never Forget?

    My biggest complaint about this pedal is that the dirty channel is quieter than the clean channel. When I want dirt, I also want it to be at least equal to, if not louder than, my clean signal.

    • @erikarko
      @erikarko  7 місяців тому

      That can be redeemed using the blend, though? Just blend in more drive :)

    • @palsyddad
      @palsyddad 6 місяців тому

      @@erikarko The Blend control doesn't affect the drive, just the balance of lows and highs. If you mean "just turn up the drive," that's only good if I want higher gain, and even if I crank it all the way it's still not louder than the Clean channel.

    The pots seem VERY wobbly. What's your opinion?

    • @erikarko
      @erikarko  Рік тому

      Yeah, they had a bit of wobble to them. I had a point about that in the video that I seem to have edited out for some reason 😅 Maybe it was just my ex, though? Not sure.

      For real, I thought I had it left in. I did not get paid for this video, and the unit is sent back to the distributor as I only got to borrow it :)

      I watched The Wetter Bass review this pedal and he didn’t like the knobs either, his were also loose. He implied that when building pedals, sometimes you make sacrifices. He also thinks that the pedal will be of more use in a studio and thus will not need to be durable as it won’t be on the floor much.

      @@PondoSinatra680 Fair enough then, it wasn’t just my ex :) Again, totally admit and agree that they felt wobbly - and, like Wetterbass suggests in the studio that isn’t much of a issue :)
