Review Of Alto Busker Portable Battery Powered Speakers After An Outdoor Event Bluetooth Linking
I find them great , I bought 2 and haven't experienced any noise and they are solid and well made the mixer is fantastic as its hands on they have an app but I do not use it I like hands on the effects are great and Im over 15 gigs in with them for music replay, being a 6.5 speaker make sure you eq whatever your playing through them my Mac and iPhone sound fantastic through them just my experience and I found na package on Idjnow with padded bags which is rare
Very good friend, the reviewed one and I think that this speaker has enormous potential for the quality price and what it offers, I tried it in the store and I was satisfied to buy it, but since everything cannot be good, I spoil the whole thing. versatility that it gives us, adapting physical buttons that do not have visual calibration, you are in the nebulae to know what you are doing you have to get on the phone and open an app to see that it is 70% or less of that and to destroy us more if you turn off the device, no The settings that you installed remain, you try again ✋️ to set the desired volume, I don't understand, I'm telling you so that if this is an incentive not to buy, you should know before buying.
How about the effects?
Can if be used as a monitor speaker which provides a flat response? Can I connect it to an audio interface as the output speaker?
Do you get a white noise? At very and low volume. Nothing connected?
if I hve a small power bank but allows for 300 watts, would my powerbank power this and my small keyboard?
Per the manual, phantom power only applies to channel 1 (channel 2 does NOT get phantom power).
Thanks for clarifying! Much appreciated 👍
Can it be used solely as a monitor and left connected?
Yes
Thanks for a review! I have a technical question: If I wirelessly pair 2 speakers, do they both transmit my voice from microphone connected to one of them? Or maybe like in the other PA pairing is only for Bluetooth music streaming, and microphone/instrument goes only with one channel? Could you help me with this? Thanks
So far, I haven't found one battery speaker that will transmit voice or other audio source beyond the bluetooth feed from our mobile devices.. the ONLY way to get audio with mic to the speakers is with a separate bluetooth transmitter that has dual output.. and THAT would send voices from the mixer plugged into it. .but, you have a LOT of lag with that option. I have the gear to do that demo and I will get on that!
@@discjockeynews Thanks
Ganz einfach:
Wenn deine Stimme auf beiden Boxen zu hören sein soll:
Box 1 ( Out ) verbinden mit Eingang Box 2 !
wirelessly? @@christianknabe1842
No if you want to chain them together with voice so vocals are on both you need and xviv u3 or similar, just an example im not particularly fond of the xvive but Senheiser and Mackie have them
What's the price on these?
great video!
What about the battery life and charging???
I read that it takes a while to charge up to 100%
One thing companies are finding with batteries, is that charging to 100% is tough on the battery life.. hence, you might notice your watch only charges to 70% by design to extend it's battery life (if you only need less than that to get a full day).. So, with that being said, it can get to 80% easily in a couple of hours.. and overnight gets it full everytime..
Hi thanks for the review! I am looking into the Alto as a light and compact speaker for busking. I shortly tried in a shop and Iliked it. The only thing that puts me off is the 12hrs charging time, so the 80% in 2 hrs would be great news, since it'd be plenty of power for a working day, but the user guide is confusing about that. In "General usage" It says "the battery will last longest when operating between 30 and 80 percent charged", but at the end it says "Charge the battery completely after each use", which seems to contradict the previous statement. If I could avoid fully charging it and keep it at the most at 80% without damaging the battery, it'd be great. Any thought about that? @@discjockeynews
I have 2 and ran them on several gigs at 3/4 volume for 5 hrs and they never came off the green , the batteries hold up just as ling as the Mackie Thump Go 8s I like these better as they are lighter
hi! the back music??
Yes, back music!
Note the battery is not user removable.
Correct, and great note!
I have it. It's chene.
Camera person should get closer when your explaining the features they are to far
