When you breaking in your cam how do you make the engine stay above 2000 rpm without holding your foot on the pedal or your hand holding on the throttle?
@@realsteelmotorcars2894 ok gotcha I have a 1990 Chevy K1500 Silverado with a 350, I got it rebuild 2yrs ago never Crunk it up yet I'll be cranking it up sometime next week, to break in the cam, I primed it up with oil about 3 different times and rotate engine as I was priming as well.
Edelbrock? I run edlebrock on almost every build. On this one 500cfm . I pulled the plugs for a look-see. Perfect burn pattern. Quadrajet with thermal choke over Holley.... on fuel economy?

I turn up the idle sqrew on the carb linkage side . That way it will hold it steady .
BTW my fingers are blocking the video while I'm turning the Idle up...
But you can still see the proximity of the idle screw,
