- Top Fuel Legend Larry "Spiderman" McBride records his best elapsed time in four decades of racing with a 5.74. It marks the quickest motorcycle run on American soil. Combined with Dave Vantine's 5.81, it is the quickest side-by-side run in history - July 29, 2017. Even more impressive, this was off the trailer after a long rain delay!

Check out a no prep event. Definitely at a track that the Oklahoma street outlaws are racing. That show is really bringing drag racing back. I just wish it wasn't so costly to race.

The only thing more impressive is his newest attempt,on the electric bike. Dead silent 200mph runs !!!! Spidey will ALWAYS be the BEST there is,was,or ever will be. Elmer Trett was hot,but Larry has class !!!

And how fast does it go from Zero to 60mph/100kmh?
marcello033 ......0-60 in less than a second that would have hit the 60ft in 1.1-1.2 seconds so 0-60ft at 80mph

There was a significant rain delay and most probably went home early.
I agree. I wish there were more people that liked this sport. I DO NOT get how someone could like NASCAR and not this. I love this sport. I’m going to this race next year.
The air is so good just after a rain, I know I've left thinking they were done for the day. Then found out the next day they made their best runs after the rains. It really takes something to ride one of those, after the wrecks Larry's had. Sam Wills says, on a good pass, they pull the hardest as they're going through the traps.
