The real mvp of restorations. Not like the vast majority of scammers who abound on UA-cam, who falsify the states of things and then make restorations only with brush and paint.
Two mistakes in this one. Don't press bearings from the inner race, that's how you ruin them, you might even have the bad luck to press them apart and don't use abrasives on the commutators, rather a clean file. Abrasives embed themselves in the soft copper and ruin it.
I think this is your first electrefied pressure method tool that you're fixing. I don't think i have seen myself any of these even in real life. Has to be very specialized tool...
I never seen such a tool like that before. Nice refurbishing for sure. And it would be great to have such a tool if you were building a foundation with rebar. Thumbs Up!
Wonderful work as always brother, I suggest you to make a restoration about Crown brand. Where I'm from it's very popular. Greetings from the Mediterranean.
Great work! Thank you very much for your wonderful videos! But what systems are used in this machine to convert rotating force into shear cutting force?
I assume that the seal you repaired will function with the repair. I have no idea of the workings so I don't know myself. Hope it does! Looks pretty dang good!
You actually use the fins on the anvil to put it in a vise and work at a work station, like where you're making the bends, wiring the quadrants and all that jazz.
Do you take old tools to restore? I have a pair of drills that the battery don't work anymore but I don't want to throw them out, I would like to know if I could send them to you to make a good use of them.
21:06 you brake the plate in superglue position , the glue isn't resist the impact force , but i hope it work nicely a long time otherwise , great job bro...
Great job! A little tip, 15:07 pressing on the inside ring can damage the bearing. In this case press on the outside of the bearing :D
If you must press on the inner race of the bearing, put the old bearing on top and then use it to press the new one.
