Hollywood: Making good bad and bad good

What I have found and therefore, my focus for educating my children, is that we have not been taught how to use deductive reasoning in order to come to conclusions without emotions.
What is good? What it’s evil? How do we know, through reason, what these are? Etc.

Can we stop and evaluate whether the “fist bump” craze is beneficial or harmful??
It is a personal pet peeve of mine, especially for my sons. I believe it creates an equal plane between child and adult and discredits young children and teens ability to be respectful and firm.
I have a book- The Catholic Handbook about etiquette, really good!
My mom also had me in etiquette classes when I was young. Manners are so forgotten it seems.

I suggest watching "Iron Claw."
It's a tragic non-fiction story about the Von Erich family. "Invincible" w Mark Wahlberg is good too.
