Thanks for the video! Just wondering, if this is supposed to fire with conversions, why is the tag set to fire on all pages, shouldn't it fire only on events that indicate a successful conversion? Maybe I'm missing something here 😅
When setting up enhanced conversions for Google Ads, this is based on website conversions such as a Google Forwarding Number which fires on all pages, therefore, our enhanced conversions tag needed to reflect this. If you are tracking events via Google Analytics, then we would recommend watching our video on how to set up enhanced conversions for GA4.
Thanks for the clear video. I'm trying to implement Enhanced Conversions using GTM. I was able to follow your steps exactly until 2:45, but when I click into any of my conversion actions, that box with the option for Tag Setup isn't there. Any idea why?
She is using the incorrect method to set up enhanced conversions. Additionally, automatic data collection is not reliable; we should use manual data collection instead.
