    • @Suto_Ko

yep, that's a great quote from Levi. It's a reminder that life is unpredictable and that the choices we make don't always lead to the results we expect. This can be both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, it means that we have the freedom to make our own choices and shape our own destiny. On the other hand, it means that we have to be prepared for anything and that we can't always control the outcome of our actions.
Despite the uncertainty, Levi's quote also encourages us to make choices and to take risks. He knows that even if we don't know what the result will be, making a choice is better than doing nothing at all. It's better to live a life full of choices, even if we make mistakes along the way, than to live a life without any choices at all.
So next time you're faced with a difficult decision, remember Levi's words: "You will never know what will be the result of your choices." But don't let that stop you from making one.

What Armin and Zeke said really resonated with me. That “Little things like that are what made me feel like I was born for that that moment” it’s very compelling, for the longest time we all have been there wondering why we continue living, what’s the point of life where we have been longing and waiting for some big moments to happen in life.

    • @Suto_Ko
      @Suto_Ko 10 місяців тому +6

for real, Armin and Zeke's conversation about being born for a moment really resonates with me as well. It's a reminder that even the smallest things can have a big impact on our lives, and that we all have our own unique purpose.
We often long for big moments in our lives, but it's important to remember that the little things matter too. It's the everyday moments that make up our lives, and it's those moments that shape who we are.
So don't be afraid to appreciate the little things in life. The moments with your loved ones, the moments of beauty and nature, and the moments of simple joy. These are the moments that make life worth living.
As Armin said, "Little things like that are what made me feel like I was born for that that moment." And maybe that's the point of life after all. It's not about waiting for big moments to happen. It's about living each moment to the fullest and finding joy in the little things.

lol, Eren's eyes were closed for the entire duration of the Rumbling, until he saw Mikasa for the last time. This is a significant detail, as it shows that Eren was only able to find peace and closure when he was with Mikasa.
Eren's relationship with Mikasa was one of the most important in his life. She was his closest friend and confidante, and she always stood by his side, even when he made difficult choices. In the end, it was Mikasa's love and compassion that helped Eren to overcome his own darkness and to find the courage to end the Rumbling.
The fact that Eren opened his eyes just to see Mikasa one last time is a testament to the depth of their bond. It also shows that Mikasa was the only person who could truly understand Eren and who could help him to find peace.
This is a powerful and moving scene, and it is one of the most memorable moments in the entire Attack on Titan series.

    A few fun facts:
    1) Eren didn't open his eyes during rumbling, he opened his eyes in his last breath just to see Mikasa
    2) Mikasa wrote “Here forever rest peacefully, my most beloved, my dear. 854” on Eren’s grave. The first two times Mikasa visits Eren’s grave she put four roses which means nothing will come between two people who love each other but cannot be together / tragic love. The last time she put one rose which means “you are still THE one".
3)A white flower was placed during her death, which symbolizes purity and virginity. So, taken together, Mikasa's flowers send the message that she won't forget Eren, she still loves him (but believes he can no longer love her back), she will remain devoted to him, and she is waiting.
4)They spent 4 years living together in Paths (ch. 138) And only when he “passed away” there, was she able to kill him in the real world. (it was a gift to them from Ymir)
5)In the ending credits where Eren and Mikasa were buried, an old man Armin still visiting their graves. He was the last to die from the trio, just like when they were kids running to the tree, he was the last one who reaches the tree.

If you remember correctly in Season 3 Episode 6, Erwin literally said this "Peace between men will never be certain, not until our numbers fall to 1 or less."
The war that we see in credits is centuries later. The reason for that war is unknown, it could be anything. It is even possible that it is a war among Paraids themselves.
Even if Eren wiped out the entire humanity outside the walls, who's to say there there will be peace for certain among Paradis, they may fight among themselves for some reason. Having a common enemy unites people.

I always thought that Eren and Mikasa's relationship was pretty lacking but this ending actually made the entire thing not only make sense, but also made me really fall in love with each of their characters all over again. Same goes for Armin and Eren's friendship. Armin telling Erin that they'll spend eternity in hell together fucks me up, ngl. And it's so perfect that Eren could only tell Armin his most intimate feelings. He couldn't even tell Mikasa, so she would be able to move on, despite the fact that he doesn't actually want her to move on in his heart. Eren was able to exterminate all the Titans, but he was unable to stop the chain of conflict. Eldia fell into militarism and was eventually destroyed by bombardment. However, Eren was able to protect the future of his friends and loved ones, and in the end, protecting the friends around him may have been the best Eren could do. Throughout the story, I was skeptical of Mikasa's inability to make the decision to abandon Eren, who had fallen into nationalism, but when I saw Mikasa crying for Eren at the end, I was made to realize how cruel a decision that was for her.

I think the reason why Mikasa is THE one that Ymir choose is because that they kinda share the same one-way feeling (the love form Ymir to King Fritz and Mikasa to Eren). Both couldn't get what they desired but instead of Ymir choose to keep her love feeling and stay in the path for 2000 yrs, Mikasa would choose to end it by her own hand. The manga's ending was incoherent and laughably bad in some spots. They fixed this here by quadrupling the amount of dialogue in the last 30 minutes and removing the worst lines outright. The manga felt like a first draft, a rough draft even, but this is definitely more final. This I think is good. I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I had not read the original.

@@traviscue2099 I like how they drew it all out too. I think it's going to be difficult for many people to adequately explain the difference between the manga and the anime. As the general ideas and the overall outcome are the same. It's just a matter of execution. For me, at least, it was never that this outcome was inherently a bad story, it was the execution that left much to be desired. I had the feeling that it could have been a lot better if it was just tweaked. This has definitely been tweaked for the better. It's cohesive now. There are some issues I still have, mainly regarding Ymir's role, but most of it has at least been adequately addressed.

When I read it, I thought the ending was good, but it felt a bit rushed or they could have expanded or changed certain things. Some people were so negative about the final chapters that the memes surrounding the manga and the community at the time were the most entertaining part. I’m happy to see that it’s more split between anime-onlies, cause it makes me feel less crazy. The ending to the final song sounding like the beginning to the first OP, as the cycle seems to begin again was so good.

I don’t know if it’s because of rewatching it, but the ending feels more solid to me watching now. When I initially read it in the manga, it felt like a much more hopeless ending; like I was expecting them to triumph some theme, but instead it just felt like they were saying life is meaningless. Really, what drove the nail in the coffin, for some manga readers, was the additional content that was released after the end, where we see Paradis advancing and then getting blown up, only for the cycle to seemingly repeat itself. They show that here in the end credits scene, but it doesn’t feel as hopeless now due to how the information is presented together. Most of all, and I believe I’m not wrong on this, they added more meat to Armin and Eren’s last conversation, which in turn gives the themes more time to settle in. Anyways, I really enjoyed this series and your guy’s reaction to it. Keep up the good work and I guess, KEEP FIGHTING!!! (For peace)

Armin and Eren had a conversation in the paths and Eren said “I have to go, i will erase your memory of this conversation, but once this is all over you will remember again”, and then Armin came to his senses on the boat with Annie. So that conversation Armin and Eren had in the paths didnt happen after Mikasa killed Eren, it happened way back when they were on the boat and he just now remembered.

Glad you enjoyed it. For me personally I have some issues with it . However some of the changed dialogue made it way better than what transpired in the Manga such as Armin’s “Thank you becoming a mass murderer for our sake.”
And before people say I don’t like or just a hater of Aot . I was a massive fan probably have rewatched the entire series at least over 30 times . Crazy it’s been 10 years.

Main reasons why many hated the ending.
1 - Eren was acting pathetic. They thought he was a Chad who didn't care about anything but he cries over a girl getting together which felt very out of character for him. Plus that dialogue was not good. "I want her to love me for atleast 10 years" that's very cringe. According to many it was his character assassination.
2 - Ymir loving the king. Ppl thought how can anyone love someone if they did horrible things to you.
3 - Nobody dies in final battle
4 - Reiner sniffing Historia's letter(anime was much better, in Manga it felt creepy)
5 - ending felt very rushed in Manga.
6 - Eren letting his mother die
7 - paradise still gets destroyed so Eren's sacrifice resulted in nothing.

For those who didn't understand Mikasa part in the ending:
Do you remember in anime there is a short scene where Ymir is holding her children and the King Fritz is stabbed and sitting dead on throne and we all know that's not what really happened, so why was this there? Because that's the answer Ymir was looking for! Ymir was very naive girl and didn't understand what love is and didn't know what to do, She spend all that time carrying out King Fritz dirty wish because she didn't know how to defy the person she loved. But Mikasa showed her what she should have done by defying Eren wishes and killing the person she love. And that finally freed Ymir from being Fritz's slave and destroying humanity.

Main changes that threw people off are basically from the Armin and Eren's conversation in the Path
Things like ''Thank you for turning into a mass murderer for our sake''
Replaced with ''Let's go to hell together'' which just feels more correct
    The dialogue flows better too
Also the last credit scenes and Boy with the tree were added a bit later after the actual ending.
Anime did make everything stick better

This was not the ending that Eren fans wanted, but it was the perfect ending to the story. People wanted Eren to win and get with Mikasa because they wanted to project their own little geeky power fantasies on to him.
It made a choice because, as he says he's an idiot who was given power, so from his own limited immature perspective this was all he could do and the moment he did it he couldn't take it back no matter how much he tried. If Eren had been more mature and he had reached out to others or tried to find another solution through others this might have worked, but he never did, so what we got was a massacre caused by an idiot with power and the best intentions.
Ultimately, this didn't work because humanity will always find a reason for conflict. Just as Kiyomi predicted, the yeagerists became a warring faction and people started tearing each other apart again.
The only thing Aaron accomplished, was giving the characters some peaceful time for a while until the world got back to conflict.

It is so unbelievably bonkers the level to which the people who didn't get the ending when the manga came out created this false air around the ending, to the point where all the anime watchers are going in scared about it and then after being like 'what the fuck were they even complaining about?' - they were IDIOTS, and they affected the conversation that much just through force of incessant fan community whining. The internet sucks.

I don't know if you guys will see this comment or not, but I have read aot manga like over 20 times at this point. The reason eren says Mikasa showed Ymir the way because as we know Ymir loved fritz, it represents a toxic relationship where she was still "enslaved" because of love. Same with Mikasa , Mikasa was enslaved to eren because of love and the moment she actually killed eren and broke that chain, it showed Ymir the way, Ymir wanted someone to actually show her how to break out of that eternity and Mikasa did that.
Edit: the alternate reality Ymir saw in the end was her not throwing herself in front of fritz and letting him die.

Guys, trust me on this, most people enjoyed the ending, even in the manga. It's just that the people who didn't are a very vocal minority that feel the need to express their dislike more passionately, but most people enjoyed it. It was VERY well received in Japan, and I knew the anime watchers would like it even more, the ratio of ending enjoyers is only gonna increase exponentially now. It pisses me off that the toxic community that have been living off hating on the ending for 2 years made anime watchers have this perception that it was mostly disliked which is not true. I personally thought it was great, and so did a lot of others

The ending was a perfect portrayal of reality, war will never end, there will always be a conflict, even if one side gets completely wiped out, in a few centuries, there will be a evil person born who want to control the world and cause chaos, But that does not mean you should give up trying to stop it, even if nothing changes, even if its meaningless, You have to fight, fight for the present, fight for your future, it doesnt matter whats the result, what matters is the present time you live in, dont lose hope just because its impossible to end wars, just fight and move forward, Thats what Eren's "TATAKAE" meant, it didnt meant to wipe people or cause a genocide but "TATAKAE" because you are free.
Honestly with whats happening around the world right now, this episode got released at the best time possible

The ending is not changed. This is the manga ending. People who didn't like the ending either did not like because it was too ambigous (and conflict is not solved and the eldians still suffered so what eren did go to waste) or they didn't like how eren was portrayed in the "no i don't want that" scene
edit:there was also a line armin tells to eren while they talk in the paths which is "thank you for becoming a mass murderer for us, i swear i wont let it go to waste" which people argued that it butchers armin's character completely. seems like they changed it in the anime

From what I know, the reason why many were unhappy with the ending in the manga was because of the message of Eren being a hero even though he committed genocide, and to be honest I had the same feeling with the anime, his whole scene with Armin was ridiculous , I couldn't connect with these characters that I've been following for 10 years...
But other than that, I still found good moments in this ending, I can't call it a perfect ending, but I don't know what a perfect ending would be after Eren went so far, so at least I'm happy that there was an ending.
The iconic moments will forever be etched in my memory

AOT reminds me of a quote of king solomon in the bible "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again. There is nothing new under the sun." Episode 1 Eren says when he wakes up under the tree. "I feel like I had the longest dream. What was it? I can't remember." I dont understand the hate for the ending. The "full circle" writing of AOT is so satisfying.

I love AOT, I love the author, but I hate this fandom. They had certain expectations that are so damn skewed. Remember the scene where Eren was talking about Mikasa and wanting to be with his friends for a longer? People thought of it as character assassination, especially since he doesn't seem "cool" anymore which is just plain weird.
I loved this ending. I really really do. They added more context that manga readers kept nitpicking, but even then, they prolly wouldn't shut up.
One of the weirdest things is that they REALLY hate this ending for some reason. They can list the flaws, but I can never understand why they hate it to this degree, calling it "garbage" even though it's at least decent. THEY SEND DEATH THREATS TO THE AUTHOR. The author cried onstage, apologizing to the entitled western audience. They're also deluded enough to say that this is proof that seasons 1-4 part 2 is just "luck" which is absolutely insane to say. They also have this habit of attacking anyone who likes or is indifferent with the ending. It's so stupid.
I knew you anime onlies will love this ending. You're not like the manga readers with their expectations being skewed by monthly releases. I just hope there won't be more unnecessary loathing that is felt after the manga ended

Bruh Eren death was for vain and everyone knows that. We can literally see that the Titan powers are still there and paradise getting bombed every now and then. Only thing Eren did was protect his friends and gave them peace, but his real dream for annihilating all the titans and protecting his friends doesn’t even happen.
Hajime could have at least added a scene where Mikasa and Eren meet in afterlife to make it a bit better just like the one with hange. And there is still no clarity if Mikasa and Jean are married. It looks like she didn’t since she died alone and since she still had the scarf but at the same time it’s still confusing 💀
