Thank you for showing this. I had this in my cart and I agree that took too much time and it looked very difficult to get on and off. I thought may rolling it on and off might help. Not sure that would work either. Very informative demonstration!
So glad that you did this video. There's no way I'm even going to try using that silicone wrap. That's way too much work and frustration. I think that all that would do is make people starting out get frustrated and quit.

Hey Patrice, I bought some of those wraps before and immediately regretted it because it looked like a problem trying to get them on the tumbler and keep your design in place. I think the long wrap plus the bands is overkill.
I been watching your videos on sublimating and the Htvront press.i am new to sublimation and just upgraded to the Htvront press and am learning a lot from you. thank you so much. I do have a question if that’s ok. I am wanting to put photos onto a tumbler.i know how to do mugs but not tumblers.I use design space for the mugs and photo pea for tumblers.I also have creative fabrics.I’m sorry,this got long 😮 my question,lol,do you have any videos on how to do these? Thank you again for your great tutorials.love them
Not trying to be crude here but the sleeve should go on like a condom. Turn it inside out almost completely. Leave just enough to cup the bottom. Then just slide it on. It may stick a little bit towards the middle but it will be much much shorter. I also noticed you didn’t put the bands all the way at the top and bottom. I have a ghosting issue at each end and I was hoping to see if the bands helped at all. I’m also wondering if I’d need to increase the heat at all.
So glad you did this video I was on the verge of buying these but this is the second video I have seen with someone struggling. So thanks for an honest review and saving me some money.
@@CraftableThings I agree, after I watched another UA-cam review today I decided it might be too much hassle and I'm gonna save up for a tumbler press instead. But in the comments someone mentioned that they used baby powder to help the silicone glide better. Maybe you can test it out and let us know 🤷🏽♀️
Maybe if you use them alone by themselves instead of the silicone and the bands it will not be too hard and take up too much time...I saw they were used separately.. thank you for the videos I enjoyed it as well..

Maybe it can roll on like a sock into an infant's leg. The silcone wrap with clamp over lapses atad so there Isn't ANY ghosting..No struggling. No fatigue. No broken fingernails.
You could have put the tumbler upside down on the table, stand up and stretch the silicone a bit and kinda scrunch it down and easily pull over the tumbler.
I could have saved you some time and energy. I recorded a video about three weeks ago (that I have not posted) using the sleeves and the bands and the sleeve is definitely a no go! Way TOO much time and energy and my results were not good. I did use the bands by themselves (mine came with like 5 bands) so I used them all down the tumbler and I like them better and my results were better as well.

You have to flip the silicone inside out the bottom first and roll up takes three seconds hope it can help. Blessings 🥰

It may be easy to put on if you roll the sleeve in half before putting it on the cup.

You may need to roll the silicone sleeve down small, put the tumbler in, then roll it up🤔

I love the clamp silicone wrap. Use the ring in conjunction with clamps wrap.

I bought the bands to use for tapered tumblers just at the curve to prevent ghosting. I lost patience using them over the entire tumbler.
Try rolling the silicon wrap off, might be easier

I just use the bands. It helps with the top and bottom. The full sleeve is too much work

Looks very hard to use and time consuming. I use old Army gloves for heat gloves work great.
