I have a Gravely Mach 1 and the warranty is good as well. I also love how mechanical and simple they made it. Hopefully it lasts. First 100 hours have been great. I love John Deere, but a mega dealer owns my area and they don’t want to be reasonable.
Same here , United AG bought out all the dealers around me and ruined the the family friendly relationship I had. I could go on but I bought a Scag mower rather than deal with the wire brush treatment
in 2015 tuff torq update a plastic plug under the pulley now its metal. mine cracked and leaked when running not bad but bad enough. I fixed it had to take both hydros out it is a job. I could not believe tuff torq and deere let that stuff get out on a commercial mower. I was pretty upset on a mower with 400 hours and I bought a different mower this time but I still have my 930. I just wish they would update the ride quality
Hey Shane, one common joke we make in the shop is that when Deere figures out how to make something work great...they change it 🙄. Im in central Florida. We have no 72" and will not be getting in any for awhile
Hi Maye you can help me with this? My 997R with a vac system runs for a bout an hour and then get hot and shuts the mower down, it does it everytime. I have to open it up and thats a pain with a vac system take a powerful leaf blower and blow the rad fins out let it cool down and start again? has anyone else had this problem with these mowers. this machin is two years old kept inside blah blah blah. H E L P....... I do have an idea on what to do but am interested in what you say? thanks Stephen.
I actually like all the X model lawn tractors. Everyone Ive worked on seemed to be built well. From my experience they usually have many hours on them and only need minor wear items replaced
from what i'v seen of all these newer commercial and residential mowers i couldn't recommend any of them Seems like since 2004 mower quality has been falling down a hill i'v had a Z-Beast Commercial mower with 15 hours in my shop for a month now waitng on parts the transmissions are garbage even tho there brand new from the factory

I have Z950A 1700 hrs. Have tried to adjust tracking numerous times still tracks to the left. Am I missing something?
I choose between:
John Deere Z994R - Z997R and KUBOTA ZD 1211, if you don't check the price, which model is the most reliable?
Craftsman T240 turn tight with Kohler 7000 series came with 3 year unlimited hours warranty..
