As much as it seems the community is having competition taken away, there is an argument to be made that we have everything to gain from this trade. This new character wasn't Mauga, was it? If so, they missed and missed big.
They should never have gone down the PvE route. The game is trying to be something it's not. They're trying to shoehorn a revenue model into a game that didn't have it, rather than create something new. Just an attempt at a money grab.
