Does this mean that if you do it in a mode where score is tracked by points capped rather than rounds won, then you can exceed it by capping points before declaring victory to earn more than 1 point per round?

The longest round i ever had was back in ow1 on volskaya industries. In total we got to 9:7. Round went on for over 25 minutes. For 2cp back then this was incredible long.
Epic video, the score board is probably using more bits and is likely updated separately from the server (I would assume because of latency things.) Which is why the scoreboard is one more than the integer limit.
I think the score stops at 16777216 because it's being stored at a 32 bit floating point number. Floating point numbers lose precision as they get larger, after 16777216 you don't have enough precision to represent odd numbers. If the counter is at 16777216 and tries to add one win to get a score of 16777217 it will just round back down to 16777216. You can't represent 16777217 but you can represent 16777218 (and other larger even numbers) so if you could somehow add 2 wins to the score count at the same time you could probably get a higher win count.
I wouldn't recommend it but it's definitely doable, depends how many things you want to do. You can see snippets of what's possible within the video, can do quite a lot more than that.

I've seen some long VODs of competitive games being stalled to 15+ rounds and surprised Athena has voice lines for numbers that high. For how many rounds are there unique voice lines before Athena says "next round"?
The plus one I'm guessing stems from the fact that in a lot of coding languages the first instance is of the value 0 (for example the first item in a list will be called position 0 in the list) and overwatch would start counting the rounds at round 1 meaning that position 0 will be equal to 1. I'm guessing that this means that position 16,777,215 is equal to round 16,777,216. I could be completely off the mark but that's just my guess 😁
As a hearthstone player, I've already seen things being limited by bit integers, but it was usually 2^32 MINUS 1 I wonder why it's +1 here Also most of the time trying to get past the limit brings you back to 0, so I wonder if there's a way to do it here ? Like... winning so many rounds that you end up losing ? Would be funny
