Yes indeed..I got rid of my 2022 s-works sl7 tarmac and got the same 2023/24 trek madone slr in all black w cream gp5000, roval rapide clx 2 wheels and light weight tpu inner tubes..weighing in at 16.6lbs..I think I saw this bike on Ebay a few months ago..I recognize the light weight wheels..🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯
I feel you on trek service..I normally order everything thru my bike shop..I buy several different bikes a year as well..I have no loyalty to these brands..i run with whoever gives the best performance..trek, specialized, cervelo, cannondale, giant, orbea, etc...I buy them all

I totally agree about those 51 bontrager aeolus RSL wheels...I liked my roval rapide CLX2 wheels from my sl7 tarmac so much I swapped them over to my Madone..yep..I did it..rovals on a trek..lol

can I ask you whithc kind of back issue are experiencing? i have an herniated disc (l4-l5) and causing me sciatic pain while cycling, also a prostatitis which could have been caused by my Bontrager Pro saddle on my emonda. Which saddle is this one? it could help! Cheers
Hey bud ive had MAJOR urinary/prostate related issues along with L4 L5 S1 still. I ended up deciding to keep this bike, it's my main bike now and have some new vids on it. I have a new saddle on it bare carbon and its eliminated my prostate issues completely. litearly only my sit bones themselves are on the saddle and everything else can breathe now. Dont recall the name but its like 62grams
You are the first one to give a bad review on the Aeolus RSL 51 wheels that I found on the Internet. I got myself those RSL 51 wheels a month ago as my first carbon wheels for my roadbike, for half the price on these wheels, so that makes me no expert on wheels. What I noticed tough was that they do flex, especially the hubs. When i put some power on the pedals i noticed the disk is rubbing in to the brake pads because the hubs is flexing, other than that I like the wheels, they are light compared to my stock aluminum wheels. 😅
well, im not saying they are garbage, but for 3200$ they are an embarrassment to the industry and they lie on the weights. obviously still a huge upgrade compared to any aluminum wheels or anything thats 1600g+ but the side flex is unacceptable, and yes, thats with strong spoke tension I checked.
@HeyWattsUpCycling , Wow, no way they weight 1600gr. I have personally weighted mine, and they are 1430gr. In Europe normally the set cost 2500 euro. I got them for 1500 so it is a good deal, but as you said, 2500 euro or above 3000$ Is definitely not the price I would pay for them.
ha! looks like they updated their weight specs, they were claiming 1330 I believe last yr for the RSL but after weighting them completely naked with no tape they were HEAVIER than the claimed Aeolus lower end versions.

@HeyWattsUpCycling the weight 1330gr is for the rsl 37, I have rsl 51. The rsl 72 weights 1600gr
