The Irish never quit and made a game of it in the 2nd half. The game wasn't over until Ohio State converted that 3rd and 11 towards the end. But Notre Dame will be back next year, with a lot of talent returning. Go Irish!!
The QB does not process passing plays quickly and has passing accuracy problems. RL had a fabulous season, but real ND football fans are ready to move forward with a QB that can pass the rock.
@@sbnative574 Carr looks to be good. I hesitate to say it’s an improvement right away since Leonard’s escapability was so important. Also, the threat of a running QB opens up the middle of the field as LBs have to play up. That opens up the slants that Faison and the ND receivers that will be harder next year. Give me a break. You were lucky we called a conservative second half once we were up 31-7. So shove calling a different game. We should have put a 50 burger had we stayed aggressive. Still in denial huh?
OSU was good, but ND plays a cleaner game (cleaning up the silly mistakes), this game is a lot different: ND would have kept it close or tied if those mistakes were avoided. And OSU didn't have a hard path, Texas and Notre Dame were the best teams OSU played in the playoffs. Tennesse was not good and any team they faced in the playoff they were probably getting trampled. Oregon is okay, somehow went undefeated, would have got steam rolled as well.
Tennessee had the best defense in the SEC. Will completed passes continuously whether ND was in man or zone. OSU ran for over 200yds. ND caused that fumble and Riley leanord made some nice throws late, but OSU played conservative by only attempting 6 passes in the 2nd half after being up 31-7.

@@b3stanman946I mean I could be wrong, but I don’t think this ND team is going to have to pay anyone 10 or even 5 million. We already have QB’s in house that we are supposedly going with, and the areas of need for this team are things like D-line and maybe WR, and maybe the WR commands a bit of money but not 5 million dollars for one guy

Games are never over until it's over however Chip Kelly did not want to be accused of running the score up.

Championship games usually come down to two to three plays. Notre Dame was right there and fought their tales off. ♥️🍀
Notre Dame quarterback kept the irish in the game.

Chip Kelly taking his foot off the gas gave ND new life down 31-7 with 3 minutes and chance left in the third.

Watching that game, I was thinking this game could be 50 to 7. Notre Dame. Definitely fought to keep it close.

I love the Irish ☘️ just wish they called the game Alittle different

We were missing 3 defensive starters I wonder what would've been if we were completely healthy
2 ALL AMERICANS ,B. MORRISON & MILLS .
OSU was missing 2 all-American OL’men
Perry the Pilon is awesome 😛
Bright future ahead. GO IRSH! ☘
Notre Dame beat the SEC chance with her third string and lost to Ohio State by eight points. Ohio State got lucky.

Notre Dame should have lost to Penn State. If Ohio State didn't take their foot off the gas it would 49-7

Pay 20 million dollars 💵 Irish ☘️
Brady Quinn just got done raising 21.6 million for the collective he created FUND. that doesnt even include NDs in-house NIL group.
But you still have to get the right players. One player could cost you 10 mil lol
