Hey David, yep not bad indeed…do you like the power cats more or the monohulls? I’m off to a boat show in two weeks and there are so many power catamarans being exhibited 😊 - Scott
I guess the cat is designed to support a large footprint; but most of the spaces are oversized. Some spaces could be smaller, while still feeling spacious. Leaving room to create rooms for different activities.
@@markallan9528 hey Mark great to hear from you again, what do you think of the whole power cat thing in general there appears to be a growing segment 👍 - Scott
Prestige have done a great job with this boat but the downside is that it is quite tall and slightly narrower than other cats of this size, the result is that there is a lot of roll when at anchor.
Hi Keith it’s good to hear your thoughts on this one, I’m glad you enjoyed the video and I agree it certainly is a real beauty. I can’t comment on the roll at anchor as we were in a marina but I take on board your perspective on this. Great to get your input again 😊 - Scott
Hi Keith, we are so glad to hear you like this boat. The PRESTIGE M48 has been well tested and stability is one of the key characteristics. The beam was also made purposefully narrower to accommodate the boat in smaller, monohull-sized berths making marina stays easier and less expensive.
Hi again 😊 I’m really glad you liked the new format of this week’s video I’m working on continually improving each one in line with my audience’s feedback 👍 There wasn’t’ any specific range data from Prestige themselves hoe er I’ll afk TMG Yachts who organised my tour and I’ll add it in the comments- I’ll see what they say about price - they asked me not to feature a set price - but a quick search online suggests it’s will be between $2.6m and $2.9m AUD depending on spec 😊👍 - Scott
Hi there, Mr Tony, Scott has indicated the price but we are here to explain the range. This vessel has a cruising speed of 16KNOTS with a range of 237NM and at a trawler speed of 7.2KNOTS this gives a range of 789NM. This is with 2 x Volvo D4 320 V-DRIVE and 1200L fuel tanks.
@@user-gq4ch1pd4c Hi, thanks for stopping by to watch this one 👍 Yes unfortunately with all the detailing going on before the show that day I missed that area which was a bit of a shame, sometimes it happens. Hi there, the engine rooms are certainly very cool and hidden under even more storage, there is no shortage on this boat. We have a walkthrough on our channel if you are interested to see these elements of the PRESTIGE M48.
Hi Mark it’s great to hear your thoughts on this one and I appreciate your support by watching, thank you. Yes with the range the Prestige website doesn’t give an indicative range, but talking with the guys from TMG Yachts they highlighted the efficiency of the M48 as a feature in its design so having said that I’ve reached out to get an indicative range and I’ll add it somewhere in the video description or maybe in the thumbnail 😊👍 - Scott
I'd love to know the range too. I really question the build quality, though. The insides of all the cabinets you opened looked like corners were cut in the construction to install nicer finishes on the outside. I wish you showed both the electrical wiring and the engine room. You can tell a lot about a boat builder by the level of quality placed on the important unseen components vs. design bling.
Hi all, we are so happy to see so much interest in the incredible PRESTIGE M48. Sorry, but this was TERRIBLE. So many basic mistakes - your boat knowledge is VERY VERY POOR. And what about anchoring, engine rooms AND there’s ZERO PERFORMANCE INFO!

What do you think of this one?
The boat was awesome, the review was DREADFUL!
Why does so much of the wood in the public places seem to be raw or with no finish ???
Excellent alternative to single hulls. Good idea with that swim platform. Great video and presentation. 🇦🇺 😊
Hi Rex, I’m glad you enjoyed that one and great to hear from you. Make sure to say hi again 😊👍 - Scott
Great boat

that third “en-suite” probably serves also as a day head, because of the separate space (2 doors to get to it)
Hi Jamie it’s great to hear from you, good pick up on the day head too 👍😊 - Scott

Scott that's a really nice cat. I am assuming it isn't an ocean goer.

Very nice presentation and a beautiful boat, but you forgot to specify the range and the price.

317 gal of fuel seems really low, that must really restrict your range a lot. Probably why you never mentioned ranges at diff speeds, lol.
