Well I am shocked!! This is Aquaholic for gods sake!! Do they not clear the decks for the best showroom in the buisness?
If you've heard, the people on the boat, other than Nick, are french, and french are not known for their manners, but arrogance and snottiness 😎
As I was about to say and I'm sure everyone was thinking it, bloody frogs !!!!
@@I_Cunt_Spell what a silly, outdated and cliched view of the French. With a username like yours why am I not surprised??
@@julesforsyth2996 Didn’t they know Britannia ruled the waves? ;-)
Spell check anybody?
Nick this is the first catamaran you have shown that really knocks my socks off. I love that it is purpose built as a motor yacht and not a conversion. My experience with sailing cats is they are a handful to maneuver in tight quarters and my marina charges a fortune for extra-wide slips. The narrower hull solves that problem quite nicely and still allows for the massive living space. The one thing I did notice was the fit, finish and woodwork isn't up to Princess standards but I'm sure Prestige can upgrade it. Lovely tour as always Nick.
What a difference a clean sheet of paper makes. Everything is purpose built for a powered catamaran. And a fine layout it is at a mere FORTY EIGHT FEET! Clean design. Well appointed. Everything to hand. Thanks Prestige and you as well, Nick. Ahoy
Yes. If you package the boat taking full advantage of the extra width, you can really get a lot in, and you've got all the extra deck space with a cat too.
Really like that one. Not too wide. Just right. Acres of space. I can imagine being aboard is very chilled and relaxed. Nicely fitted out. I agree with some others on here. Do they not know who you are? They dawdle about whilst you have important work to do. Peasants !! Great tour Nick.
LOL Well said.
Good job Nick! It’s too bad they could not have cleared the area for you but you adapted and overcame the challenges;-)
After looking at so many multimillion dollar/euro/pound boats... this one gives you A LOT of boat for the price. I love it. I figured it would crawl along but 20kts isn't bad at all!
Love all that deck space.
@@k9killer221 Ohhh yeah. I love looking at these and wondering what they'll cost in 10 years. When they're 10 million... forget about it!
I loved the way you just waited patiently while those two guys walked over and stood on top of the engine cover 😂 fairly typical show stuff it seems.
And they seemed to do it almost deliberately? And hey, Hugo from that other boating channel, show some respect and don't get in the way when the Master is onboard!
Like this boat. It's a real exercise in how to use every inch of the hulls. Lots of storage nice heads, and good size cabins. Like the front seating area with lots of room for people to spread out. Like this loads
Hey Nick what a breath of fresh air and thinking that Prestige have put into the design of this yacht instead of narrow walkways and barley enough room to change your mind, what they have done is given oodles of storage space a light and elegant home on the water. Awesome tour as usual and have a great day bud 👍
Nick, from the interior layout on Prestige's website, it has a single birth crew quarters in the bow on port, with a head / sink / shower (?) on starboard. You can see the two glass hatches @ 1:34
I know from you said there wasn't one @6:57, but the layout diagrams say otherwise.
One can always tell how well the production is by the sheer volume of attention that it is getting. And this one is getting a load of attention. Brilliant as always! Thank you Nick!.
Really like the 3 distinct cabins! Gives everyone a little more privacy and separation. Always a huge amount of space on the main deck salon. Very nice boat! Next time use the ladder sir, it’s for your safety! Just kidding, you do what you have to do to get the shot! Thank you.
What an incredible use of space, Prestige have been super clever with their layouts and space optimisation! Great video Nick as always - thank you 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
There's non as Noble as you Sir, I have been learning on your Videos for about 2 years and not one time have I ever heard you get upset with anyone, Thar was nice of you Sir to respond, I was having a difficult day and you
made me feel encouraged by your comment, May the Lord Bless always Sir.
You're very kind, thank you 🙂
I'm IMPRESSED with this boat.
I'm Obsessed with this boat.
I'm addicted to this boat.
I will have one of these boats - (as a beautiful, professionally framed eight by ten picture on my wall) I swear!
According to the layout on the website, there is a crew cabin and head on the front of the boat. I imagine it would be tiny, but you could use it for storage.
I do like this cat. Power is the way I’d go as with my disability, sailing would be a bit of a reach. Thank you Nick for another great review.
Thanks for watching! 🙂
That will be my boat!
I should be able to afford a used one in about 20 years when I'm 80. Until then I can imagine myself on the water by watching these fantastic videos 😄
Appreciate the tour, so busy love it none the less!
Aloha; you had us worried for a second there as you "fell" thru the deck to the space above the engines! Mahalo
The struggles of a UA-cam videographer are most entertaining! Like this one! Thanks
Love the layout, the owners cabin is awesome. You would have thought that knowing they had journalistic royalty reviewing their boat you would have had the red carpet treatment. I will drop them a line for you Nick
I love how large it feels at each turn. Beautiful. Thank you, Nick!
Glad you like it!
it's really unfortunate that some boat tours don't afford you the brief time to do a walkthrough unhindered -- those are the best. when there's people constantly in the way or walking about, it's not nearly the same and the content unfortunately suffers for it.
That's a lovely spacious yacht, great layout and finishes. Love the view from the upper helm. Great tour as always Nick. Thankyou
My pleasure!
Hi Hugo!
Can’t wait to see Nick in MBYs video
I see Nick, I click, I hit like, then I watch the video 🙏
Thank you! 🙂
Despite being a bit busy with some French people it was still an interesting tour of a beautiful catamaran from Prestige and 3 huge cabins which made the boat seem a lot bigger than it is nick.
Great design and with beautifully finished bathrooms.
I don’t know how you cope with so many people in the way of your camera. Well done!
This tour takes me back 2 or 3 + years when boats were full, and it was brilliant entertainment trying to guess which area you would go to next! Great tour even with more people on, and I am a fan of a purpose built motor catamaran as I’ve never seen one before. Thanks Nick! 😀
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hat's off to you Sir in giving a perfect presentation with a boat full of people, you have a great deal of patience. 🥴👍
You're very kind 🙂
Nick's Bilge Diving Academy YT Channel coming soon! Love these catamarans and the roominess. I'm fine with throttling back, extending the range and enjoying the ride.
Now we know what it's like with a dozen guests walking about.I like this ship quite a bit.I wouldn't do that much mobile furniture, but everything else looked great.Thank you for all your efforts to inform us of these ships, and entertaining us too along the way.
Really well designed and put together, most usable Cat I've seen for a while.
Great tour in busy conditions Nick 👍
That's an impressive design. I like the master cabin with them separate facilities. Gray way to live. Thank you Nick..
Glad you like it!
Well done again Nick . What an awesome use of space they have certainly packed in every necessity needed for a comfortable cruise .Well done Prestige !!
That rear lift is great I know someone who has been looking for exactly something like this for wheelchair access
Always difficult when there’s so many people milling around, but, as always, you’ve done a good job.
Interesting boat, though not as wide as I expected, it’s very roomy for its length. Decent layout, reasonable speed and range.
Overall a nice, functional boat
Great job navigating the crowd and giving a great tour Nick! 🌊
Glad you enjoyed it!
It's a lot of boat for the price, but you can also see a lot of compromises. The cabins lacked decent hanging lockers, and storage wasn't convenient.
One of the best layouts I have ever seen. Now if I just had money 🤣
Dang it Nick just when I thought I'd finally decided what boat I want you go and bring this beauty along. Absolutely brilliant all round boat. From stability to roominess to accomodation it seems to have the lot. Another great tour old chap so well done once again 👍
Thanks Nick, another great tour and well done with the overcrowded conditions, you finale made it to the engine compartment!
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Beautiful boat!
Really liked this !
Love it. I think I'll buy one next week. Thank you Nick
Hi Nick. I never saw you filming more uncomfortably than today's video. It is just part of life and we have to assume it and live with it. As usual huuuuuge hugs from Colombia
Very very Nice. Catamarans are very intriguing and this build looks very very well thought out.
And here was I jumping on to say “Nick you’ve put the wrong thumbnail on the video” 😂 I had heard of the new m48 in name but had no idea it was a cat
Been waiting for this video for a while!!
Keep up the good work!!
Thanks! Will do!
Very nice boat indeed! I have to say I’m not a fan of catamarans but the more I see the more I’m beginning to like them, in particular the new ones, can’t deny the extra space. Another great video Nick 👍
That is the narrowest catamaran I've ever seen. the main deck feels like a big monohull... I have to say, I REALLY like it, it feels like a perfect mix of the 2.
I do wonder how it performs in rougher seas, how much does the narrower beam affect the rolling? I'd guess better than a monohull but is it still as good as the more standard cats?
Very nice boat and video as always!
Muy bonito. Gracias!!!😊😊😊😊
That is the best cat I've seen. Great usable hulls.
What an amazing boat, thank you Sir Nick
My pleasure!
Hi Nick, excellent value for money! I'm glad you didn't discrace yourself and claimed out that engine space unaided 😎 that's a fab live abourd too ✔️ Cheers DougT
Great video. Despite the boat being open to the public you still managed to give a great tour.
If that boat was mine I would sleep in one of the guest cabine while at sea / anchor. Sitting up in bed with those views at eye level must be fantastic. Windows in owner's cabin are too high. Would be another story if you are in the marina and berthed next to other yachts
I was thinking the same,- very small windows in mastercabin
I watched this on my free standing pod in the living room 🤪❤️.
Really smart yacht, so much space. 👍❤️🇬🇧
Nick, thank you for the great videos you make for us, and for dealing with absolute idiots from people who come into the frame and have no intention of letting the working man go, I would have thrown them overboard a long time ago, keep rockin'!
Thanks Nic. A nice format, surprised there are not more powered catamarans.
Awesome boat.
Prestige is the Right Name for that Beautiful Yacht. Plenty of Space BIG THANKS NICK FOR THE BRILLIANT VIDEO. 👍👍👍👍⛵⛵🚤🚤
4:49 Could just imagine Nick's reaction if he encountered a visitor on the lu ... Well hello there, sorry!
That´s massive! Wow!
Thanks again .
Greetings from Marseille.
Our pleasure!
Very nice boat!!
Love these videos brilliant thanks Nick and also I saw an article about you in a magazine and it was about you and Miriane cooking salad
Wow, really? Which magazine was it?
Moterboat boat show
@@janeloney4549 How interesting, I've never heard of it.
Looks pretty nice! Keep rolling! Thanks for sharing! 👍👍
Thanks, will do! 😃
@@AQUAHOLIC 👍👍
The owner suite is mindblowing for 48ft. In the saloon may be too narrow for a cat. But nice layout overall
Beautiful boat. You should pull rank and kick everyone off so you can do an uninterrupted proper tour. LOL Thank you for the tour. well done.
Does anyone else think that manufacturers should let Aquaholic do i video tour alone. After all, more people will see this boat here than at the show. Most folk at shows are just dreamers anyway. Give the man 10 mins alone.
Very nice Nick! - a "cheaper" boat but wow! - the space! Most appealing.
I am particularly not fond of catamarans, but this one is pleasantly surprising. Great use of space without compromising on anything. Thank you Nick~! :)
Glad you like it!
What a terrific looking Prestige ! Some solar would have been nice to see on this, but... This could be a perfect live aboard. Always wanted a sailing fp around 48, but this Prestige is a game changer. Who wants to rely on the wind anyway?
Lovely boat for people that are not in a hurry. Great and very well enginered layout. More and more I think Smugles Blues III will be a boat with a flybridge. Nick likes this boat, but I wonder if Marianne can live a boat the can't offer her 30 knots. 😂 Great tour, thanks.
very nice just love the layout, looking forward to seeing the advancement of the cameraman designs in the future
Great how you keep the "athmosfhere" of youre tours even with all those people around. Lovely boat far beyond my budget, but beautiful.
Hi Nick. Fancy meeting Hugo. A cool power cat. Large spaces in abundance on a very busy boat. Great video thanks 😊 I'm thinking a tour of RY Britannia on the bucket list and the Princess 40M. 👸
Tell you what....this with a hybrid system is getting pretty close to the perfect vessel ....thanks Nick.
Just what I was thinking. like Silents cover the fly hard top in solar panels to run domestics/topup batteries.
It's the layout as well...as good as big cats are,I find the living area quite 'clinical'....this is just like a wider monohull.....really nice ..
Nice job playing dodge the journalist! That certainly looks like something worth investing in. Thank you for the great tour.
Glad you enjoyed it!
They definitely hit the mark with this one! The cabins are amazing for a cat this size! The lift is a smart idea I've only seen that done on one before this one! I'm surprised mono hauls don't do it! It still keeps the center of gravity down and helps keep it out of the sea. Great tour Nick! Do they have plans for a 60ft
Another great tour. BZ
Glad you enjoyed it
Yay Nick, a power cat!!!
That was a hard one.
Well done 👏 ✨️
I like the simplicity of the helm, i am not an engineering expert 😂
Stunning boat! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Am I the only one who wanted to see Nick do a “this is Sparta!” Kick to the people on the boat who were getting in the way, sending them overboard into the drink? 🤔🤣
People really think they're invisible 🤦♂
I like that boat
Sweet Cat
Different but nice.. great room in the living areas and the master is fabulous.. Now if I could just figure out how to get the money...
Now normally I don't like cats but this I would definitely have, I love the owners cabin and the fly bridge (something else I don't normally like) I just need my numbers to come up 😂
I like the centre master cabin, better executed than Silents centre cabin. Wonder what the next innovation in hi low bathing platforms will be.
For all of the exposure you give to the boat builders I would think they would give you atleast 30 minutes to film their boat
Man I love watching videos of things more expensive than my house
Good space and a cost effective mooring proposition, not being overly wide with it…… pity you had to scrum with the riffraff (apologies Hugo 🙂)…….
Be interesting to see a sea trial in a bit of chop…… I’m more into the displacement cruising speed, but I wonder how dynamic that hull will be…… it suggests the centre is fairly filled in judging by the master cabin ??
😎🇬🇧
That’s a really interesting alternative to mono hulls. If you don’t need to go above 16knots then it appears like a superb choice.
The space was very impressive for ’just’ 48’ and unlike a mono fly bridge it didn’t look too tall. Plus the hulls seemed wider than a typical cat giving more space in the bedrooms?
Curious to know how it would handle some less than ideal seas?? Sea trial needed Mr B……
Nice power cat. Indeed not as massive as some others
