Have you guys seen Scott's 8 hour learn body language while you sleep video?? It's awesome. Teenager out like a light last night! Me too. Amazing what the subconscious can learn in sleep.❤
1:07:11 Okay Chase 👍 What I see is FEAR and uncertainty, while still trying to maintain his composure😂 I also believe he's talking indirectly to the prison authority and prisoners. I also wonder why this interviewer 🤔 he too has a strange affect .... Now let's see what you're all saying.. 😉
I love how Chase always belittles the narcissists and psychopaths saying they’re typical, boring, not special, etc. He is not about to play into their ego.
A friend of mine went into his shop. She left and said, "He reminds me of someone who would kill people and keep their bodies in his basement." She refused to ever go back there. When he was in the news as a serial killer, she totally freaked out.
Very perceptive of her! I went to a small business, once, where I felt something was very off with the owner. Not sure if it was killer vibes, but I left there pretty quickly and never looked back.
There’s something about a psychopath’s eyes that tells us there’s lack of not just emotions, but a lack of being a living piece of life, like that of a robot - there’s nobody home, and definitely no candle in the window, either.
I looove the psychopath episodes, especially when Scott and Chase share their views. Chase is beyond the DSM5 when it comes to his observations and definitions. I’m a huge nerd and love geeking out when he goes off.
Would be interesting to see you guys cover some of these Mega -Pastors that are falling like flies. Did THEY broadcast their Narcissism and people simply missed it?
I’ve never heard that distinction between “disdain” being for a group (social) and “contempt” being for an individual (personal). As a former Latin teacher, I’m a student of etymology, but am also fascinated by the “living” fluidity/morphology of language through time and culture. I’ll be turning this one over in my mind for a few days. As always, another interesting episode…thanks!
Example of why having good body language readers in your life: I watched that first clip and thought, “ok he’s got a point. Sounds like the media dehumanized him. That rings true, especially today.” My husband was quick to agree with you all, and reminded me that a statement like that is exactly what a manipulative person would say - because it works on people like me! Gosh I need this channel. Thanks so much!!!
Bob Berdella used to have a booth at The Flea Market in Kansas City, MO - a restaurant that served burgers and had flea market finds. In the early 80s my girlfriend and I another female went into his entryway booth area and he had a skull on the counter, (later, realized it was probably a skull of someone he had killed - when I looked into his eyes they were black - you could tell he hated women and we backed out of there and never went back. About a year later is when the story came out about the man escaping his house before he could murder him. I will never forget the Black Dog Eyes he had - just a horrible man. Thank God he is Dead!
And right off the bat, hes upset that HE has been dehumanized? He admits that he did that to his victims and that was ok in his mind. But now that the tables are turned, his feelings are hurt. Unbelievable but typical of a narcissist.

Yes, I love the new video from Scott too! I just think it's a shame that after half an hour or so the music gets too loud, I can't hear Scott anymore. But I read in a comment from someone, to which he had replied, that this is how it should be to enter your brain properly. It would be interesting to see your comments on her, as well as some of the other people involved in the case.
Scott. I went to art school in KC for one year and saw this guy at his shop a couple of times. He gave me the CREEPS. Big time. I had a visceral reaction and wanted to vomit. I worked in a restaurant in downtown KC. My fellow waiter, a lovely gay man, got a call one night at work from the police who had just arrested his neighbor Bob. They wanted to take a peek in my friend’s back yard. Later, we learned about the horrendous crimes. It was shocking, but I was not surprised that it was him. My friend never suspected anything and was surprised when I told him my previous observation of Bob. I can barely watch this video.
He is a human with many psychopathic traits. He is not a psychopath, but a human being with many more psychopathic traits than most people have. But all humans have some of these traits and almost all have hurt some fellow humans. I wonder how many people subconsciously and consciously sometimes experience the same impulse, but almost all of them are able to suppress such impulses, which, for example, the above-mentioned serial killer does not want or cannot suppress? So perhaps we should first see what we humans consist of: nature and culture, man and predator, etc. Maybe we are all quite divided because we are filled with so many contradictions? The interviewed serial killer is not only capable of carrying out - but has already several times carried out - disgusting, monstrous acts against his fellow human beings, simply because it was something he had (and probably still had) - a desire to do at the time of the interview The interesting question, therefore, is why people with many psychopathic traits are unable to suppress such unsympathetic impulses, but let it go unchallenged in horrific ways that reveal much about these individuals: need for power and control; often a hatred of their victims who were also of the same sex as their sexuality was directed against. Why is it that only a few people have enough psychopathic traits to let their derailed evil sadistic sexuality speak and ultimately kill the victims? Thing abput it: No one these days can avoid seeing how the porn industry (90%; I would guess) dominated by portraying, a male, power-control-driven sadism that in such a shameful way risks becoming a template for sex between people?
Chase, as a former midwife- you are absolutely correct about the seasonal impact on when a child is born, or if the pregnant mother gets the flu during pregnancy. Fetal development is highly impacted by maternal health and illness.
A similar question I use to test for narcissistic traits is "What's one thing about yourself that you really don't like and wish was different, or would like to change?". They have a hard time answering and often get angry and insulted that you would even suggest that something could be wrong with them.
I'd struggle to stop at three, never mind one! But then again, isn't self deprecation a covert narcissist trait? I feel like the N word is kind of a catch-all for some people (not you) nowadays. But that does seem like an intelligent question
Thank you Mark for making me understand better what this unclear concept postmodernism is. No truths, science, right or wrong, good or bad and its maybe related to this fascination with psycopaths and crime. You TBP are great to listen to because of your civilized, friendly respectful interaction. You have good values, education and search the truth which is comforting. Greetings from Sweden
I went to his shop and had never been there before. I felt a presence of evil that caused me to leave. Within weeks he was arrested & on the news. I freaked out that I was there & felt the evil.
Fat Ned Flanders for the win. That mustache has a life of its own. I’m convinced the mustache is, in fact, the actual psychopath and the man is under its control. True. Story.
The psychopath interviews are my favorite. One of my caregivers growing up was likely a psychopath according to my therapist. Watching the breakdown of the facial expressions and body language in videos like these helps me so much. I'm able to translate the visceral response to something tangible. Thank you for this!
Once Silvio Berlusconi was facing a crowd, smiling as usual. Some opponents from the audience started to shout insults to him: "YOU CORRUPT ROBBER!!" (he didn't cared a bit); "...MAFIOSO!!" (he kept smiling around); "MIDGET!" (...he turned totally angry!)
@thebehaviorpanel , love it when y'all highlight what interviewers are doing well and what you would do differently if you were in their position. Greg and Chase often refer to techniques they've used during past interrogations. If there are any videos of them that are available to be used, it would be fascinating to see them in action! It would be interesting to hear commentary and insight into their process during a recorded interview/interrogation but also lessons learned from hindsight and experience since. It would be brilliant to see the analysis from all 4 of you with one of your own in the interviewer position.
When Mark said I tipped it I don't think you noticed that he stuck his chest out and he had to straighten his jacket 🐦 he had a shot of adrenaline right then 🤠
I’m married to a narcissist >> only emotion he displays is anger and contempt for others. And yes I’m separated trying to sell the house! Yes it’s crazy.
You're the REAL MVP for getting TF out sooner than later...Some people just "can't". No shade to those victims but it's refreshing to hear that you are "peaced out" before your peace ran out! 🧡
I was there for 38 years with no easy out and 4 children. I just thought he was angry or that I just want good enough-- all the stuff they tell you about how stupid you are, etc. But after leaving and watching these videos, I realized he was seriously possessed and it was only the grace of God that I got out alive! Kudos to you for getting out early. I pray all the best for you!
I shouldn't admit it, but I would feel so sorry for this guy because of the sad look on his face that I would have gone out of my way to befriend and be nice to him. He looks so harmless and sad. I wish this channel had been around 45 years ago. I just never had any clue. This is so incredible to me - thank you so much for what you do.
I don’t see any sadness on his face whatsoever. All I see is contempt, disdain, disgust, and anger. Until chase told us to pause and say what we saw. I saw and heard, for the first time in all these videos, fear.
Psychopathy is such a perplexing, curious, and extremely fascinating topic for me. I’m about halfway through Robert D. Hare’s book titled “Without Conscience” and it’s a phenomenal read so far. Still, no matter how many books & articles I read, videos I watch, the topic of psychopaths and how their brains are wired is truly an enigma. Great video, guys. The audacity of this piece of human sewage to try and water down the absolute atrocities he committed is beyond anything I could come close to comprehending. He (along with other evil sludge of society like Watts, Todt, Peterson, Downs, Bundy, any individual who commits atrocities like these and any crimes against our innocent children) really bring that much more substance to Shakespeare’s quote, “Hell is empty and all the devils are here.” Take care
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. They are treating me like I am less than human, like I treated my victims"........ WTF. Forgive me if I don't feel sympathetic towards you.
He's right up there with Diane Downs smiling at the interviewer after she said that "you can always have another child" and having no clue at all that this is very much not a normal thing to say
Great episode guys! I also mainly want us all as fans to take a second to pray for Chase! We love you all! Thank you for including us in your journey with you're brain disease chase, however I will continue to pray for you 🙏

Chase, what you said about people born in January having more mental, Vitamin D deficiency issues. Makes me thankful my kids were born in April and May.
OMG Greg is on a ROLL today! Love his one liner openers. “Ding ding ding!” And “I don’t care what month he was born in, he’s deficient!” Hysterical. Thanks for laughs Greg.
Scott: "He looks like a muppet somebody washed in hot by mistake" hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!! I love your guys' friendship and rapport and how you amuse and tease each other. It's sweet and entertaining and endearing.
Interesting how he specified that was just a 'copy' of the original notes. Like, it's very important he is unfailingly honest about SOME things. His own specific code of morality.
@Chase .. I was an assistant to a team of Pediatricians and find epigenetics fascinating!! I live in Canada, we definitely observed the correlation between winter babies and autism.
@@tlindsay1007 It's standard of care (in Canada) for doctors to prescribe prenatal vitamins and discuss the importance of good nutrition during pregnancy. As for advising about higher doses of vitamin D, that seems to be within their discretion but is not standard protocol. Also informed expectant mother's can request a vit D serum test to screen their levels and identify if additional supplementation is indicated. But this is not generally offered as part of the prenatal work up. Since the main purpose of adequate vit D serum levels is to support the mother's immune system to protect her against viral infections I wonder if it would be beneficial for expectant mother's to wear a mask when out and about during cold and flu season?
❤❤ Watched Chase's videos on his personal channel the other day and he mentioned that NERVOUSNESS =EXCITEMENT in the way our bodies react to the sensation and he advised that we substitute saying we're nervous with saying we're excited so Scott saying the exact same thing is fantastic ❤❤

I don’t like watching this guy. I was living in Kansas City at the time he was caught. I was actually in law school at the time. I had been to his flea market in Westport. I hope I didn’t eat anything.🙀
Big thanks to all of you. You guys providing this interesting and insightful content is a gift I look forward to every week since close to 1,5 years. Never stop. Appreciated. Much love Viele Grüße 🙋🏼♀️
Thanks guys, the info is remarkable. Chase, that is so interesting about the brain development in relation to the time of year. Even as a nurse, I never thought about the correlation. Thank you for teaching me!
I just watched the first analysis of the first clip and had to come to the comments to say I find each of you individually so fascinating to watch because of the enthusiasm and expertise and beautiful personalities! We are so lucky to watch you watch people and tell us about it ❤️ But ... there something magical about the four of you together. Magic. Thank you and thanks to everyone that supports you at home ❤
What Chase said about chances of psychopathy being lesser nearer to the equator is quite interesting. I'm from Kenya and it's very rare to hear of such crimes. That is serial offenders of sexually motivated murders. That is not to say there is no crime, there is crime. It's just that you will hardly hear of anything like this.
Fascinating video TBP. Never heard of this case but I am as excited as Scott appears to be dissecting this guy. When talking about his sensitivity to having kept meticulous notes, I think Scott and Chase nailed it. This monster took notes and pictures so he could relive the moments with each victim. He wants to soften the viewer’s impression of this detail by implying the notes are not very detailed or even bound in any meaningful way as to make them special, i.e., being bound in Corinthian leather, or just an ordinary notebook. However, he kept them under the mattress on his bed where he slept on top of them, and where they would be conveniently accessible for his personal pleasure. This guy is so deficient emotionally and socially that he thinks society will agree with him that he has been vilified and thus victimized by the media for just being himself, the guy next door. Wow, just wow. Wish you four were doing this interview with him.
Geez, man. I appreciate this sooo much. I can see how, because I'm uneducated in what this is, I have been duped by some people. Thank you for the education.
Goodness. I’ve never agreed with you four or appreciated you more than in this video. When he was talking about the radio station, all I could think was “he’s just mad they’re making fun of him”. Then Mark goes into the brilliant discussion of humor and post-modernism. I’m not always smarter after I watch a video, but in this case I was.
As soon as he said "Corinthian leather" my mind flashed to that old commercial with Ricardo Montalban and the car. The things we remember! I could mentally see and hear him saying it.
Oh very much so. He’s so darn young to have seizures. I wonder if his military service and the chemicals he may have been exposed to were a factor. The same for Greg, I hope he’s not been exposed to these types of chemicals.
The reason he was so focused on the fact that he did NOT keep meticulous notes - is that he knows how that would make the whole case look. Keeping meticulous notes and data about your deeds suggests high level of organization and planning, enjoyment. He previously wanted to distance himself from the fact that he is different by mentioning that he is "just the next door neighbor that did monstrous things". Now he's distancing himself from the fact that he enjoyed all of this on a high level and that he was obsessed with it, so he downplays the notes and pictures. That's the real reason I believe

Maybe because he is angry that people even ask him - the superior being - to give such an unnecessary lipservice.
@@hallarious506 absolutely possible
"Is he a psychopath? Is he a freaky little postmodernist?" 😂😂😂
Came here to say this!!! LOL. Love them all, but GOOD ONE Mark!!! 😂
The interviewed serial killer is not only capable of carrying out - but has already several times carried out - disgusting, monstrous acts against his fellow human beings, simply because it was something he had (and probably still had) - a desire to do at the time of the interview
The interesting question, therefore, is why people with many psychopathic traits are unable to suppress such unsympathetic impulses, but let it go unchallenged in horrific ways that reveal much about these individuals: need for power and control; often a hatred of their victims who were also of the same sex as their sexuality was directed against.
Chase isn't a former midwife! 😉🤭🤗
@@kaymarham5486 LOL
Love the post modern references- Mark sent dozens to Google to figure it out. We are learning and that is why we watch you guys! Thank you.😊
A similar question I use to test for narcissistic traits is "What's one thing about yourself that you really don't like and wish was different, or would like to change?".
Same. I just went and read about post modern philosophy! Mark rules.
I absolutely love these types of episodes, these and interrogation analysis. Another good one fellas. Thank you!❤❤❤❤
Thank you Scott for providing me with my new favorite insult - he looks like a muppet accidentally washed on hot. I cannot stop laughing 😂😂
I went to his shop and had never been there before. I felt a presence of evil that caused me to leave. Within weeks he was arrested & on the news. I freaked out that I was there & felt the evil.
Cool story bruh

Fat Ned Flanders for the win.
That mustache has a life of its own. I’m convinced the mustache is, in fact, the actual psychopath and the man is under its control. True. Story.

The psychopath interviews are my favorite.
One of my caregivers growing up was likely a psychopath according to my therapist. Watching the breakdown of the facial expressions and body language in videos like these helps me so much. I'm able to translate the visceral response to something tangible. Thank you for this!
Can't wait to see the enthusiasm in Scott's face on this one😁😍 and everyones awesome break down🤩😍😘
Once Silvio Berlusconi was facing a crowd, smiling as usual.
Absolutely Chase vitamin d vitamin d! Thank you so much for bringing this up on your show a lot of people will be thankful a lot. ❤🎉

@@sassduffin4274 much appreciated!! The best to you as well!
Stay safe!
Another great video guys. We r keeping chase in our thoughts and wishing full recovery ❤
I feel for you Chase for I sense that today is difficult for you. Keep it going for you are great !❤
I happen to rather enjoy Mark quite well ! He is clearly an absolute expert !
Scott was trying to figure out which cartoon character he is: I’m gonna say his eyes are cold and rectangular like the Muppet eagle
I was worried about being born in January for a moment, but then I realised being Australian is the greatest.
Second only to being a kiwi 😉
Haha he sounds like Jody Arias “ I did lie, but that doesn’t make me a liar” 🤪
Right?! That's LITERALLY the definition.
@@melissaboylan4798 I know right!! It’s total gaslighting!
He (along with other evil sludge of society like Watts, Todt, Peterson, Downs, Bundy, any individual who commits atrocities like these and any crimes against our innocent children) really bring that much more substance to Shakespeare’s quote, “Hell is empty and all the devils are here.”
Take care
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. They are treating me like I am less than human, like I treated my victims"........ WTF. Forgive me if I don't feel sympathetic towards you.
He's right up there with Diane Downs smiling at the interviewer after she said that "you can always have another child" and having no clue at all that this is very much not a normal thing to say
Great episode guys! I also mainly want us all as fans to take a second to pray for Chase! We love you all! Thank you for including us in your journey with you're brain disease chase, however I will continue to pray for you 🙏
How ya doin Chase? Keepin ya in my thoughts.
In response to Chases question. Not a profiler but was looking at him thinking ‘is he on the verge of tears!’ His mouth kept moving in that way. Glad you’re describing him as a creature n hope you’re keeping well n staying with us after the news you shared. Have SO many questions about your disorder. Hope you have a Q n A with us sometime.
My favorite part of TBP is Mark's chuckles. 😂❤
@Chase .. I was an assistant to a team of Pediatricians and find epigenetics fascinating!!
I live in Canada, we definitely observed the correlation between winter babies and autism.
I didn't know anything about this, until Chase brought it up. I wonder if doctors are now advising pregnant women to take vit D... ?
Chase, every time I watch a video and see you, my heart goes out to you. I hope you are OK and doing well. You are very brave!
Mark cracks me up. I really appreciate all your perspectives!

I just wanted to say that I really like the way you put your qualifications on the screen instead of the way you used to do it. Perhaps you took my previous suggestion. It’s very professional and it looks good😎 cheers! I love to watch you guys and I always learn something.

I went in to this episode not knowing what "post modernism" meant. After watching it I can safely say I still dont know!!! (:
Thanks guys, the info is remarkable. Chase, that is so interesting about the brain development in relation to the time of year. Even as a nurse, I never thought about the correlation. Thank you for teaching me!
I just watched the first analysis of the first clip and had to come to the comments to say I find each of you individually so fascinating to watch because of the enthusiasm and expertise and beautiful personalities! We are so lucky to watch you watch people and tell us about it ❤️

The back and forth in this video between ya'll is TOP NOTCH! ❤
Greg 😂😂😂 “Ding. Ding. Ding.” I’ve had my laugh for the day. You guys are awesome
A monster is a monster, you confessed, you’re a monster dude! !!!
I love the way Scott says, "...this is great, to get into the mind and see how it thinks...." 🤣😱
Well if only Scott reads the comment section. Hello Scott, you are my favourite :)
The January birth static is fascinating... Well done,as per-usual, gentleman..
As soon as he said "Corinthian leather" my mind flashed to that old commercial with Ricardo Montalban and the car. The things we remember! I could mentally see and hear him saying it.
Prayers for Chase 🙏🏻🙏🏻
