I find Rose's marriage a lot more interesting because of the way she has integrated into a rural Chinese village. Despite the huge physical difference between her and the community, Rose is literally just a Chinese with different physical features. The family is clearly below average income, peasants, but you can sense that everyone is happy - I mean not just Rose and her husband and child, but the entire community around them. The sense of integration is automatic and complete - husband, wife and people around them are mutually supportive and no sense of frictions requiring patience to overcome. King Kwesi I think there should not be an assumption that a remote village is less accepting than a city. In a remote village there might be less 'struggles' with acceptance once the newcomer shows willingness and ability to integrate.
He picked an amazing woman to be the mother of his children. The only barriers to love are the artificial ones that humans put in place. Enjoy your lives.
I really like when Dadaliya said "My Marriage is my personal life" and therefore she does not matter whether her parents and relatives disapprove it. Cornell, Princeton and one of them was accepted in all including Harvard which she turned down for Stanford law. Chinese culture is community-oriented, individualism is discouraged, every Chinese person has a lot of pressure to conform to societal norms. We are all products of our environment. African Americans have been mistreated for hundreds of years, that's why they are sensitive. Some Africans who've lived abroad for some time and experienced racial-based hate may become like African Americans too. Btw, in China and Asia in general, they'd treat you better if you said you're African American instead of African.
I enjoyed the interview but from 19 minutes to 21 minutes, the dad needs to do some educating to his kids on Africa in 2022. It’s not a “ZOO” that you need to prepare for. It’s not a “disease-infested” place that they need to start looking for medicine 💊 for. The lady is awesome 👍. Got nothing against her. But the ‘Dad’ needs to teach the kids properly about where he comes from. Despite the challenges, we have there. My thoughts, with love ❤️.

There's another interpretation, a kinder one highlighting one of Africa's treasures. Africa is known for its animals. She could be saying that when they move to Africa, they could start a mini zoo of their own to know these animals better. What I learn from the interview is that this lady is a master teacher, constantly on a lookout on how to teach her children. As for teaching African herbs, the Africans, like the Chinese, have been culturally herbalists over generations. She immerse in African rich herbal culture just as she has taught her children Chinese herbs. So it's not looking down on Africans as backward. This lady is better than that, given her perceptive and enquiring mind. Of course, the questions why she want to start a zoo and teach about African herbs could be posed to her. That will clear all doubts. But I don't need to have those questions asked to be sure that she is too intelligent and inter-culturally immerse to have a narrow mindset.
People are aware of their own love and high emotions and who makes them happy and alive even if they are not from the same race or culture it is about freedom

I am British/Jamaican and I married a Mexican/American man and we are both very happy together and his all his family are wonderful to me and we are mixed into Native American in his family are all very nice to me. I am a very happy woman and my husband is my first and we plan to have children together. we're very happy, and I'm immigrating to USA next year, we plan to visit Jamaica very soon to visit my family in the new year thank you 😊
The most important thing is that the children see and know that their parents and extended family love and care for them has their bloodlines. There's only one Race the Human Race which is made up of a 🌈 of beautiful and unique cultures all special in there own right. Love doesn't see colour or cultural differences because God is love and doesn't make ugly. Its only people who don't know or choose not to practice and extend this to others regardless of cultural differences that are the problem.

Me too. My grandfather is actually half black ( jamaican) and half Chinese (Hong kong) . Black and Chinese mix is actually quite common in the Caribbean especially in Jamaica . But as to be expected if the Kids are brought up in jamaica, they are most likely to identify themselves as Jamaican and be more culturally Jamaican than Chinese. Black and japanese is also becoming a common mix these days too.

This was a great interview with great questions & honest answers . Her & her husband will raise strong confident boys with good life values. They are smart enough to watch who the children comes in contact with & the reactions. She also gave good positive advice to people in situations similar to her.
It depends on what her wealth is whether her boys can then continue that wealth.
What is clear is family support. When your parents love you genuinely, they will love your family of procreation.

But we who are of a good heart have to take a stand against hate and racism.
I really doubt that. If anything Chinese women enjoy even more freedom nowadays than ever from the views of society, from family traditions etc. Interracial marriage is no longer unusual.

Chinese culture is community-oriented, individualism is discouraged, every Chinese person has a lot of pressure to conform to societal norms. Some Africans who've lived abroad for some time and experienced racial-based hate may become like African Americans too. I enjoyed the interview but from 19 minutes to 21 minutes, the dad needs to do some educating to his kids on Africa in 2022. It’s not a “ZOO” that you need to prepare for. It’s not a “disease-infested” place that they need to start looking for medicine 💊 for. The lady is awesome 👍. Got nothing against her. But the ‘Dad’ needs to teach the kids properly about where he comes from. Despite the challenges, we have there. My thoughts, with love ❤️.

There's another interpretation, a kinder one highlighting one of Africa's treasures. Africa is known for its animals. She could be saying that when they move to Africa, they could start a mini zoo of their own to know these animals better. What I learn from the interview is that this lady is a master teacher, constantly on a lookout on how to teach her children.
As for teaching African herbs, the Africans, like the Chinese, have been culturally herbalists over generations. She immerse in African rich herbal culture just as she has taught her children Chinese herbs.
So it's not looking down on Africans as backward. This lady is better than that, given her perceptive and enquiring mind.
Of course, the questions why she want to start a zoo and teach about African herbs could be posed to her. That will clear all doubts.
But I don't need to have those questions asked to be sure that she is too intelligent and inter-culturally immerse to have a narrow mindset.

Not just being Black but also associating yourself (if you're Chinese) with Black people especially in dating or marriage sense. It is really brave for you guys!

The most important thing is that the children see and know that their parents and extended family love and care for them has their bloodlines. There's only one Race the Human Race which is made up of a 🌈 of beautiful and unique cultures all special in there own right. Love doesn't see colour or cultural differences because God is love and doesn't make ugly. Its only people who don't know or choose not to practice and extend this to others regardless of cultural differences that are the problem.
The soup's name is "yellow soup", or "yellow sauce". It's very spicy, and they eat it with pounded water yam (taro). It's a traditional dish in both Cameroon's West and North-West provinces.

Me too. My grandfather is actually half black ( jamaican) and half Chinese (Hong kong) . Black and Chinese mix is actually quite common in the Caribbean especially in Jamaica . But as to be expected if the Kids are brought up in jamaica, they are most likely to identify themselves as Jamaican and be more culturally Jamaican than Chinese. Black and japanese is also becoming a common mix these days too.
