That quick shot of the back of the neck is something more teachers should do. There's a lot of talk about stretching to grab this chord or that note. But every beginner soon finds out that it's more a matter of properly placing the hand than it is of stretching. I wish more online teachers would use these useful camera angles to help drive this point home as you did in this one.
Some guitar players could feel more familiar with mandolin chords when they mirror bass part of guitar chords. Guitar tuning E-A-D-G(b-e) mirror mandolin tuning, because fouths are additional to fifths (quart+quint is octave). Though, many of such mirrored chords are quite bad because of lacking straight thirds and not in use
@@emmabordersmusic Sam bush does that I do Sierra probably,...common technique I guess , 4 finger G is like a weight ifi need to change shape ...or perhaps I'm getting lazy
