It‘s definitely a load to carry around (ca. 17Kg) so I mostly have it sitting in the car or hotel and then use the camera cube ad my backpack for the day. But just for traveling it’s actually really nice, I can fit so much more in there than my Pelicase with the same dimensions. It also doesn’t attract as much attention as the Pelicase and is sturdy enough to carry the Komodo without me worrying too much about it. But yeah, reaaaallyyy heavy 😂
@@MortyFilms Yeah I hear you! I'm currently looking for an alternative for travel since I have a couple destination weddings in CO coming up but also plan on doing a little bit of sightseeing so I def don't want to bring my roller with me. But glad to hear it's better than a pelicase!
I usually am, when it need’s to be compact though and I can’t take V-mounts with my, it’s easier to use the app. That’s why I included a smartphone mount in the kit, even though I also often end up just taking another bag to carry a real monitor 😅

As long as the multi tool doesn't contain a knife you should be good. Travel with a Smallrig one all the time without issues👌🏼
