I’m pretty sure a couple of the School for Good and Evil books have people wearing crowns on the covers. (Bonus: book two of that series has butterflies on the cover lol)
Warrior cat books are the only books I can think of that are middle grade with more than one cat 🐈 🐈

For the crown one, The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen. Goodreads has it listed as both YA and middle grade, but it definitely read as middle grade to me.
I owned a book with two cats on cover (it's a great manga series and cat pov) but the fourth volume is called Plum Crazy Tales Of A Tiger Stirped Cat.

Would love to see you read the Vampirates series! I loved reading it when I was a teen and they helped me develop my reading habit :)
Ive been wanting to reread the books this year to see how I'll feel about them but I was obsessed with the series since it had both things I was crazy obsessed at the time, vampires and pirates 💀
I made a few of my friends read them and most liked it 😂
To me the Vampirates series is how Harry Potter is to most people 💀
