- A quick breakdown of my scene for the Infinite Journeys collaboration challenge. This was a really fun little challenge to work on! This 5 second shot took about 3 weeks of work! This also made it into the top 100 submissions out of around 2400. ^_^

The motion and weight of the objects in the background and all the lights
It's really 1000 little things working together making something feel natural
And this is why you should never complain about how long a video takes to come out. Even something this short needs a TON of work to look this nice, so it makes sense that the 10-30 minute long videos are so far apart. But they're always amazing so be patient everyone. Good things come to those who wait

I never thought about how many lighting passes still go into work in S2FM. BUT HOLY THIS IS WORTH IT! DANG!
Channels like this show how much sticking to one thing can really pay off. A love of portal and a few songs made. A decade later and the dude is really good at CGI and all the 3D stuff. Practical skills from pursuit of a hobby. IDK if he does it professionally which would be cool, but if not he's well on the way should he choose to.
This is sick! I love the behind-the-curtains look at the process.

Congrats on getting into the top 100! The movement in this shot i so realistic. The swaying of the characters really sell that the they're in a moving vehicle. Beautiful work!
