It's a minor detail, but I love that the wounds themself heal, but the blood that comes out of them doesn't go away.
I also love that they scar over as well.

also he doesnt heal unless he concentrates on healing. his long axe injury starts to heal then stops when he notices the last dude is alive.

This is new to me. Everyone looks awesome in this...fan films are underrated.
Few details that many ppl missed:
1. The scars on logans knuckles are seen at the beggining ritual tribute part if u look closely
2. The heavy sound of his drop and footsteps indicate how much denser and heavier his bones are than normal
3. After his claws on one arm got ripped off, a bit later they regrow just before he ripped the guys jaw off- the guy cought his punch and he re deployed them
4. Not a detail but his shorter stature, hightenes senses such as his smell in that one scene and expert combat prowes and brutality is super comic accurate, if we remove the viking theme and time period, this is by far the most comic acurate wolverine in film

Ngl this is better than what MARVEL has been putting out lately.
This era is a great sand box. Versions of the Xmen and Avengers would be sick in this universe.
Everyone (including myself), was expecting Sabretooth but they subverted it with Magneto!
Also, at first I thought it was Odin because of the blind eye and the spooky voices 😂
It makes sense for Magneto to be the origin of the Odin myth. Logan is a textbook berserker. Hawkeye is Robinhood and so on. Cap as a warrior king. It's an awesome world building universe. Shocked Marvel hasn't done this yet.

When I saw this I just knew that was Magneto and when he said “we’re not so different, you and I.” I just knew LMAO, that’s an iconic line. This was honestly MIND-BLOWING. It’s so good.

Yessss I was praying enough people would suggest this Viking wolverine is such a bad ass concept. I personally loved the show Vikings so it was already a win but the brutality is EXACTLY what I was looking for in terms of Logan showing that rage.

Just to echo what amazing work by Godefroy Ryckewaert did with this! You'd think it was a new blockbuster movie/showing coming out with how high quality the production was!
I happened to stumbled across this while watching random stuff on UA-cam yesterday myself. I had no idea that this was even released this year, let alone made. Saved it in my playlist due to my curiosity and started watching.
From the moment I played it, I knew somehow that this was gonna be something special. The best way I can describe it is imagine watching The Last Kingdom or Vikings but with elements of the 2017 Logan film. Everything about this was perfect from start to finish! Beautiful cinematography, stunning visuals, bad ass fight choreography, amazing practical and gore effects, fantastic costumes and a sublime musical score. My only real complaint was that it was too short! It left me wanting more so badly. I think I want a cinematic Viking X-Men universe at this point in all honesty. Thank you so much to everyone involved with giving us this gift!

Hell...this is more than just FAN presentation. Marvel/Sony/Disney should be ashamed by comparison. I've seen Studio teasers that didn't look this good. Give these guys some real money and cut them loose for 6 months. Guys...the reaction was genuine and enthusiastic...nice!! This has been out for a while...and word of mouth has been very favorable. Glad to see that dedicated fans are always willing to show some grit. Kudos to ALL! Keep em' comin' fellas!!
if this, a radical or creative concept of characters we already know was what the mcu multiverse gave us i wouldve "Probably" liked it more. it was honestly something i was expecting but never really got. this fan made short was beyond amazing for me.
They also faked me out on Magneto - Because of the blured eye I initially thought he was supposed to be Odin.

Logan was Canadian. The films only mention it but make him American.

What in the world!!! this does not feel fan-made, this is incredibly done!!! my mouth was on the floor the entire time, wow just wow. The way the camara shot was a continuous one in the fight scene was wow, the choreography wow, the acting, wow, the makeup and clothing (forgot the real word) wow, this movie feels like something done in marvels studios. Amazing!!!
My favorite fan film is Star Wars SC 38 Reimagined always will rewatch it definitely a masterpiece I really actually enjoyed this one tho I haven’t seen it so thank you for sharing it
Imagine him fighting a berserker Sabertooth! The odin style Magneto was an amazing idea. Also, snapping of the claws, which then grow back at the right moment!
Also, the hate posts are hilarious. Nothing better than someone who's never made a movie bashing someone's work. As Len Kabasinski would say, "..while you wait for their next opus".
The effects, concept and acting of this fanmade film were good, better than most, but there's something about the large majority of fan films that makes a lot of people cringe.
A few weeks ago I had this conversation with someone about artistic fashion video projects, especially those with manufactured nostalgia and she mentioned that this is tough "market" because in her words "unless it's above a quite high quality threshold people are just going to feel it's try-hard".
I think this applies to any serious fan film as well. People are much more forgiving towards comedic/spoof/satire works.
Holy heck, how can fan films be so good? This would easily make big money in the box office, and at minimal funding compared to big box office budgets that spend too much and may not get enough to cover it on release

Maxime is a professional stuntman. If you watch the credits the stunts were done by a whole crew of people who work together as a small company. A friend of mine mentioned the Hollywood strikes so all these people may actually be Hollywood-type trained pros just looking for work and decided to do something. And yeah, they did something here, for sure.

A more realistic take on Logan (1) the scarring makes you wonder if healing is a factor with this version of Logan (2) when we heal we scar (I've got multiple proofs) so in this version he heals quickly but scars (maybe the scar even disappears if given enough time).
Marvel Comics has done alternate time versions of their characters - to my knowledge this is not a version they've done. (the only one I'm realy aware of is set in 1652)
So so so good. Fans out here making short films 1000% times better than hunred million dollar films.

The scars I agree, but the tattoos could simply be explained as just being drawn on him outside of his skin instead of penetrating the skin like a traditional tattoo.
Different variant. Like Noir wolverine doesn't have a healing factor.
Seems this version has a weaker healing factor, hence him healing but getting scars in the process.

Not exactly a fan film, but I would love to see you guys react to the short film „Code 8“ by Stephen Amell (Arrow) and his cousin Robbie Amell. They made a full movie as well, also called „Code 8“ which I found really entertaining! Apparently there’s also a sequel that came out this year, but I haven’t seen that yet.

Thinking back, i also saw a post like few years ago...i think 2020 or 2019 some fan film director too named RivenX3i in his youtube account, he also made a fan film live action anime my hero academia... if ever someone from this comments will also recommend them this too...
Is this an alternate reality Wolverine? Not really sure how I understand the metal claws as a Viking since it wasn't until modern day science and the US military experimented on him that he had the adamantium applied to his skeletal structure. Let alone how Magneto was alive back then with a blind eye. So confused.
