Wonderful, aerial overview. Thank you. Sometimes the original words spoken over the men who took the beaches, and the cliffs is all you need well done.
One of my biggest regrets from my younger years was not studying and learning enough about the great war that both of my grandpa's fought in. Now in my mid 40's, and both have passed, the best I can do to honor them and so many great people of our country, is to learn as much as I can. So thankful to TheDataMeister to help put a lot of my readings into context with these videos. My next read is one of Stephen Ambrose's 'D-Day'. God Bless all those who fought in the wars of our past, those who are enlisted today, and those in the future.
How could ANY American look at this and not feel Pride and Unity in this Country and all the men and women who came to the aid of other Countries in their time of need? Hold your head up America! Thank you for posting this.
The best way for Americans to have no pride in American history is to.... Well, crap. I was gonna say " to have an uneducated populace", but we all know what is happening at the collages in America these days, so....
Thank you for a great video tribute. President Reagan's 40th anniversary speech is worth watching again and again. How the top of the cliff is pock mocked by bombs tells a story itself.

It was great meeting you guys at Brecourt Manor. I did not make it to the Falaise Pocket, but spent several hours at Hill 112 and vicinity. I also visited L'Abbaye d' Ardenne.

Great footage and montage. I assume it's the voice of former President Ronald Reagan in the final part of the video?
Yes, from the 40th anniversary.
