This is an very old Albanian song mid 1400' and 1500's. Is called "Moj e bukura more" this song was dedicated to Albania land from Albanian Christian's who flead from Ottoma Turks, and immigrated to Cicilly other side of Italy, Today they are call "Arberesh" means old Albanian. They sing this song "Moj e Bukura More" to their mother land Albania Wich means "You are my beautiful" And every time I hear it brings tears on my eyes, because this song tuches all Albanian immigrantsl

Albanians have a sense of deep spiritual sensivity of friendship atmosphere..They sing to flowers not only to the flowers theme selves. But Albanians called flower the loved ones..

To be more specific, this is an arberesh song. They are Albanians that left the Albanian land in the 15th century after the Ottoman occupation and they immigrated in the south of Italy. Something remarkable about this amazing people is that they have conserved the language as it was spoken by that time (now with a bit of italian influence) and after 6 centuries they still sing to they beloved land that they were forced to leave behind. I met some personally and is just funny to hear them speak that old Albanian language. Great people! :D

This is the famous Albanian song "O Lule Lule" (O flower, flower). This is an old Albanian song that was transmitted from generation to generations by the Arbereshe community in Italy, which emigrated 600 years ago from Albania (mostly from territories in today Greece, and settled in Sicily and South Italy (Calabria region mostly). This massive exodus happened right after Ottomans invaded Albania. The lyrics of the song are in the Albanian language. Old Albanian language, but still very close, not different at all from modern Albanian language. It is amazing how they have preserved Albanian language and traditions untouched for such a long time. This is an undisputable proof, how much Albanians love their country, and the pride they find in being Albanians.

This is an ancient Albanian song.(dating around 1460-1500 bc, i m not quite sure)..Lulle (actually lule) means flower. The song is about a young love story; the guy sings to his beloved, trying to give her flowers to make her sweet.....;-). I m proud that my country song is so much liked by other nationalities and cultures....

    • @ferizaj8275

This song is NOT "ancient 1500 BC", its 1500 A,D after death, refuges from the turkish wars in the midle age fleeing to south italy, also soldiers, before 500-600 years, called today "abreshe". This song in the video in my opinion is the second part of the song "o e bukura more" ( oh beautiful more/morea, which was the region from where they flee, today greece, the first part of the song is like a lamet and the second (this, lule lule) is because he(the singer) want remember also the beatiful things.

This song was written approximately 600 years ago and dedicated to/by Albanians whom were forced to flee their province "More" in todays Peloponnese, Greece. They were forced by Greeks to leave their home towns and most of them migrated to Sicili. It describes their land how beautiful is, them leaving it behind and hopping to see it again. If you were to understand the language you will get goosebumps.

@@lyleea exactly, I should have made it more obvious.
I played soprano & alto clarinet, & tenor sax.
Without knowing, my son chose to play alto sax & guitar & my daughter flute & keyboards.
That being said I love the sound of bass, contrabass clarinet & baritone & bass sax!! Some things are beyond verbal explanation & must be heard & felt!
      Music conquers all divisions!!
I'm reaching out brothers & sisters to establish a different world from what we're used to!!
Please don't think of me as weak, only optimistic. If you're a criminal you'll be in my sights!
Merry Christmas or whatever you do! No disrespect meant.
