Leighton Library has examples of breeches bibles

Hear Leighton Library Volunteer Guide Jacqueline Kennard Imrie share about about an example of a “breeches” bible in Dunblane’s historic Leighton Library. This takes its name from its translation of the line in Genesis chapter 3 verse 7: “…and they sewed figge tree leaves together, and made themselves breeches.”
