I was gonna say the same thing lol. My hands feel like sand paper and probably have 1/8” of calloused skin if not thicker. But I was a block/brick mason for 20+ yrs before I started pumping for the public full time. Anything concrete/masonry will turn your hands into “tough as stone” type skin
@@falcone2307 I thought the same, but apparently this will be down for a couple of years. They had one of these poured previously which cracked and heaved like crazy, to the point where they could not is it for filming, so mesh and microfibres this time around.
@chriscalhoun.concretepumping ya this will be part of the season 2 set. 1st season was filmed locally here. A lot on a farm about 15-20 minutes from my house.
Hey Scott between you and your friend there that owns his own pump but that you were showing you got the cleanest Hopper and as far as between you and Ian Ian's got to clean this offer than you and needs to take a little more practice from you but Ian's got it and as far as most to plug goes that's buster plugs boy they're eating so I I think your guys did a beautiful job up there I am still interested in coming up there I don't know give me a heads up on you know if it's worth my time or not it's like to come up there and maybe move back up there I don't know yet
@@robertaustin-y7j It’s such a weird up/down market here right now. Factoring in the astronomical cost of living in the greater Vancouver area, I honestly couldn’t recommend to anyone whom is not already firmly rooted here to relocate in this area. Shit, I myself consider up and moving to a less expensive province/territory on the regular. We truly are the template of working class poor out here on the Westcoast.
Great Video Scott. I just watched the entire video and let me just tell ya that’s a lot of stamping for one day. I’m surprised they didn’t lose it there at the end when you were tamping it. Seemed like it was getting hard but it turned out great. I see stamping work five or six times a month. One of the companies I pump for does a great job on stamping and it’s amazing what them guys can do.
Scotty there is no way you been doing this shit this long with hands like that bro!😂
Lol!! I blame it on the nitrile gloves saturated on the inside which I'd been wearing in the time leading up to this 🤣🤣🤣
A nice video scott and now have a nice weekend ,greetings from the Netherlands Amsterdam 👍👍👍
@@pietmorees2775 you as well Piet. Always great hearing from you 👊

Tell the to hand tool joints next time, it's way better looking on stamp if u do it right, an u can antique ASAP btw
U can do anything w concrete huh
@@GRUBB-MUDD It’s amazing what the film guys do with the antiquing process just a couple of hours after it’s been stamped out.
Stamping looks amazing
The film set workers did an amazing job the “aging it”. Some seriously talented folks working on the construction of those sets.
Surprised they are using mesh if that’s temporary. Going to be a bitch to rip out. Also what’s the show going to be? Looks very high budget.

From my understanding, Avatar (Airbender)
@@dannpriebe I freaking love that movie. The new one will be fantastic I’m sure. I think they have a series of it now. Haha that’s cool stuff !

Everyone like, comment, subscribe. This guy is the real deal "buster". J/k such a cool insight into movie sets and concrete pumping.
EVERYONE needs to subscribe to Buster Pluggs. Rumor has it, once he reaches 100 subs., we may see some long-form content from him!
