- Been running the standard Aprilia race tune on my RS 660 for some time now. I planned to test that tune and eventually install the CRT specific tune to really MAXIMIZE the output/efficiency, but it totally skipped my mind until the bike returned to stock tune at the dealer. In this video, I install the new map and take it for a spin for my initial impressions! Clearly the CRT exhaust is way too loud for my vlog set-up lol!

@@SGTMARSHALL1 he spoke about uploading the data in his last video for his next video. I care about him, too, which is why I inquired. I'm buying an Aprilia RS 660 soon and enjoyed his content. He was consistently riding at 100MPH+, there is a high probability he died on the bike. It doesn't make sense that he'd just abandon his channel given how consistently he was uploading. Hopefully I'm wrong and life just got in the way, we may never know, but if we never see an upload from him again even after I'm directly tagging him and responding to him, chances are he's gone. Happens all the time. Ride safe, my dude.

I wouldn’t do it, I did it on mine I went down 45t on the rear and kept the front. And I lost top speed but you gained more torque
@@Goldforks.603 to each their own. I'd rather have the torque and acceleration than top speed.
Does it still make a pop or spit flames when you use the quick shifter at night? I have the dominator gp3 exhaust on stock tune and and it shoots flames every shift

So....I have a Tuono 660 with an SC Project S1 tuned with the gabro tune from upmap and I'm pretty sure I only got maybe 3 hp and a really, really loud bike! And to answer that other guys question about the Rizoma mirrors, they buzz like you would not believe!! I have those too.
so basically all mirrors on our Aprilias are useless

Interesting. Im suprised it seemed to make that noticable of a difference. I just went straight to the gabro tune when I bought my CRT. Ive often wondered what the difference between this and the aprilia race tune was.
I had mine stock for a while and it’s a good bit better very smooth and seems to rev higher which is nice

Oh yeah, last question. Have you tested driving in race mode only for a week with the tune? I find the engine breaking extremely strong which for a beginner rider at first was great but 3 months into riding and I find it to be a bit obnoxious and on dynamic it only allows you to bring it to level 1 I believe . Would race mode bring it down a bit more?
Tbh I haven't tested out race mode. From my knowledge, it doesn't change anything besides the display though? Individual mode is what allows you to change the settings specific to how you want them

Also I can tell by how quickly you somewhat casually got to 115mph, there's a significant improvement in mid-range power
I love the sound the exhaust etc, I just don't get why would people change the exhaust to something they can't ride without earplugs

Do your rizoma mirrors work good do they rattle and move or stay put that’s been my hesitation on getting them
They look great but you can’t see shit lol lots of elbow shifting for a small view. I have them on my V4 Tuono and I may sell them for some slightly more useable.
I’m curious with what the difference is. For my bikes I usually bring it to a dyno for a tune. Is this just a cheaper way of doing it? Or is it different with Aprilia? All my bikes are Japanese 😂

Does using the upmap software void your warranty? I have the RS660 and just put the sc project crt exhaust on. It does that same weird up and down idle so wanted to tune it as well.
On paper it does, but if your dealer isn't by the book boomer, they'll still honor the warranty long as the damage isn't caused by the tune. If you can't get a tune for an exhaust, install the baffle first. It idles like that because the engine struggles to push the exhaust gasses out.
I’m going to buy one very soon in the next couple of weeks I have a question the tune you got a year ago is it still there or is this one re mapping the tune and replacing it with this one?
what lever guard do you have installed? I have a 23 rs660 and had bought some zeta guards but when I took off the bar weight it wasn't a hollow bar... had to return them.

Honestly, did the upmap improve power or decrease it? I saw his post where the sc actually decreased power with upmap vs stock. Gabro posted it himself. Im deciding betwee n tune and exhaust or sell my bike and get a Ducati v2 or aprillia RSV4
