- HyperSpace Mountain Ride at Hong Kong Disneyland. "The thrills become even more intense when you rocket into the middle of a Star Wars battle in this reimagining of the classic Space Mountain attraction!" - www.hongkongdi...
So which Disney park has the best HyperSpace Mountain? Disneyland in California, Hong Kong Disneyland or Disneyland Paris? Leave your favorite in the comment below.
Ride filmed December 2023.
This one is fun because they project everywhere around you rather than small screens. It's like a rollercoaster in a planetarium.
But G force really high my face always turn to another way lol
This is how you incorporate digital screens.... have them fly by so fast, you don't have time to notice the seams. From what I saw, this upgrade looks like a total success.
It's literally the best Star Wars ride in the world.
They spent so much more money on Rise Of The Resistance, but ruined it with being themed to the most hated trilogy in the series.
This on the other hand was amazing.
It is mostly using the ceiling of the space mountain dome, the actual screens are very sparse
Definitely the best version of Hyperspace Mountain--even the first lift tunnel looks like the hallway on a Star Destroyer! 😊
One of my favourite rides at Hong Kong Disneyland! As a lifelong Star Wars fan, this one always puts a smile on my face! 😁🚀
Good job Disney, looks amazing! What a technical challenge getting those projects to syncronize with the trains!
This has been around for years at Disneyland California, they just only convert it for right around May the 4th, then it goes back to normal for most of the year.
It looks good because they’ve done it many times at other parks. :)
This version works way better than the one in Paris for multiple reasons
Main reason is it actually LOOKS like a Star Wars ride on the outside.
The Paris one should go back to Jules Verne and fix everything so it runs as it was originally. That launch still looks awesome.
This was the first time I rode a Space Mountain at any of the Disney Parks, it's thrilling and fun, would keep riding over and over till I vomi... well...
Awesome video you rock be safe out there
👍🏻 Your videos are great to watch 👍🏻
Very good POV! That’s cool they have the projection of ackbar at the end, they don’t have it for Space Mountain in California nor DLP
Even though they absolutely can because there is a projector used for ghost galaxy's jumpscare
Can’t wait to ride the next time I go!
I wish I could
@@hauntedforest8821 today i went to that roller coaster and its horrifying as hell..
Wow the video quality is mind blowing, what device r u using?
This is great work.
I'm not a SW fan but this I would like! Mostly because you can see the track and I like how it is themed throughout
I’ve been on this and you really can’t see the track in person, or just fleeting silhouettes of it anyway. This was filmed on a low light camera that can take in more light than the human eye.
Nice very good
This roller coaster ride looks new
I agree.
this ride is a takeover of space mountain in 2016
The blaster effects are scary realistic
I liked this ride more than the one in WDW!
I'm honestly surprised Disneyland hasn't done this yet. I do like when Space Mountain at Disneyland became ghost in the machine during halloween
They have, but they only bring it out seasonally for May the 4th, which is unfortunate because I think it’s so much more fun. I wish they’d make it permanent.
@@GwadabeanHyperspace Mountain sucks. I'm glad it's not permanent. Not everything needs to have an IP slapped onto it.
@@Gwadabean ah. I'm never in the area around that time
This ride is BETTER than Rise Of The Resistance and maybe Star Tours as well.
Too bad it sucks in its other installations. Here it made sense.
Try guardians of the galaxy at Epcot!!! Best of Disney
So funny that we are seeing Footage here from Classic Star Wars and not the Sequels.
You would thought that in modern day they would use footage of the Sequels, but i´m glad they didn´t.
Technically it's set just before the sequel films because you're defending Jakku. Nonetheless since they planned it mostly before the Sequel Trilogy, thankfully it's more based on the OT visually.
When i rode on this,it was just horrifying but also fun-
It’s not bad but the first time you do it, when your climbing the hill is the most horrifying you don’t know what’s happening and it’s pitch black, rode it twice and I also rode grizzly gulch 3 times. Absolutely amazing
@@abacon3095 yep
That looks new
ive tried this a week ago sa hongkong disney grabe ang bilis all i did was close my eyes...natakot ako!
Me too i never opened my eyes 😂😂😂😂 i was too scared
This looks like something a fan built in Planet Coaster rather than a major entertainment company
That's what makes this version of the Hyperspace Mountain overlay the absolute best.
Honestly this is the best Star Wars themed ride in the world.
Especially since they wrecked Star Tours with the sequel crap.
Nice

東京ディズニーランドでもリニューアル後に実施して
Naaaa, Admiral Ackbar at the end needs to say "IT'S A TRAP!" LOL Other than that amazing thank you.
He says it near the beginning of the ride.
@@PanickedPixel I missed it! Thank you, the circle of Force is complete lol
video quality so good even on low light, what did u use ? insta 360x3 ??
I also wondering the same, the video quality is insame😂
U edited out the first lift hill, did your camera drop?
Nope. Disney copyright strike crap picks up on the John Williams fanfare.
You can hear the poor child
Btw I litreally just rode on it like 3 days ago now I’m back in my home country and I got demolished on that ride
When I was riding this first as a kid I remember I was screaming loudly- 😢
It is unfortunate to inform you that the Jedi Training Academy and Stormtroopers Patrol have been removed by HK Disneyland. Currently, the Space Mountain stands as the last Star Wars themed attraction at HK Disneyland. Moreover, there is no meet and greet with R2-D2 anymore. Despite inquiring with the consultant multiple times, I have only received unpleasant responses. As a Taiwanese, I feel frustrated and confused about the fact that the Star Wars theme has only been present for two and a half years in HK.
Looks very similar to the one in California that they do every may
It's a clone of that single track two seater version of Space Mountain, but with the Star Wars Theme permanently installed instead of seasonal.
If i panic in on the rollar coaster do i get more scared?
im literally from hk
RIP Space Mountain :)
La bodega como multi pantallas más borrosas del mundo xD
does this go upside down or have any corkscrews
No upside downs no corkscrews
Is there a fee for this ride?
Disney execs: update it with SW but on the cheap so it looks like a 3rd rate park trying to capitalize on the brand lol
Funny thing is it fits the Hong Kong Disneyland version so well that it's an amazing ride anyway.
They really should remove it from Paris though, that should go back to the original Jules Verne theme complete with the hydraulic launch.
This Hong Kong version should STAY Star Wars themed because it's one of the best rides at the park.
So scary i wonder if a kid can sit for this ride ( 5 yr old)?
No they cant
hey guys. does anyone know if this version of spacemountain has any big drops that give you the stomach feeling? i cannot handle those drops.
just one small drop that lasts around 1-2 seconds👍🏻 it’s over before you know it
@@beanbean681 thank you so much! really helps
It's mostly the same cloned single track layout as the Anaheim Disneyland version is.
They need to put this in Galaxys Edge in Disneyland and put Tron in space mountains place in Tomorrowland.
Tron Will never Replace Space Mountain The Market is more for nostalgia at Disneyland . Most Likely in Disneyland Hong Kong or Paris.
Seems like it was super short
Nope. It's the standard Space Mountain track and it's awesome. He accidentally cut out the first Lift hill in this POV.
Not funny at all😂..im so scared and i close my eyes when im ride
You're not alone, I'm also😅
@@Hayoukey 🤣
You can see the track so it ruined the illustion.
It’s because they’re using a low light camera. You can’t see the tracks when riding.
Can confirm what @@Gwadabean says. It's not as easy to see the tracks on the ride, and your vision is not going to be as wide as what the camera here is capturing.
So dumb, so dumb slow down slow down slow slow down slow down faster, faster, faster, faster faster faster faster
