My super street pro just showed up! will be putting a T45 back into my 04 GT tomorrow. Hopefully it all fits. Previous owner was running a Ram clutch on this setup but it was looking a little melty and the bearings were bad. Not to mention two bell housing bolts were missing and two others were really loose. I finally finished the tailshaft swap housing/digital tone ring swap so hopefully the speed sensor can now communicate with the dash! Brand new transmission mount going back in, all new bolts too. Can't wait to reassemble it all with zero issues 😅 Debating a different exhaust while I'm at it oh boy...
I got the McLeod street pro clutch and the pressure plate isn't making contact to the flywheel, looks like in your application you have a ring to mount on the dowels.... looks like what I need. Also got the same flywheel as in the video
I wasnt given the shim either and in the video they state it is needed for proper disengagement. Im surprised im not the first person this happened to
Hi I just installed the McLeod Street Pro Organic Clutch I think it’s missing the chrome circle spacer I torqued the pressure plate bolts and the clutch disc doesn’t move
Hi Oscar, the disc won't spin unless the fingers on the pressure plate are compressed. Once the pressure plate bolts are torqued down, the disc will no longer spin by hand with the alignment tool. Please feel free to give us a call at (714) 630-2764 if you have any questions!

i just got the street pro clutch for my 99 gt is stock flywheel still ok to use this would be my second time switching clutch’s since they’ve started to slip stock and first stage 1 i had got any help ??
Stock flywheel will be fine, just make sure you resurface it.

@@McLeodRacingClutches also do you know if long tube headers on a 99 gt will have any issues throughout install or maybe even adjusting the power steering or should it be able to fit, im asking since i been told that once or twice and idk how if i got headers that are for my car if you get where i’m coming from
I noticed when I installed the pressure plate with the supplied bolts the pressure plate frame where bolted to flywheel did not make contact with flywheel. There was a little space between them. The pressure plate holes where bolted just rode on the bolts embossments, in other words the mounting bolts embossments or shoulders where longer than the thickness of the pressure plate metal frame causing it not to meet flywheel. Is this the way it was designed ?

What are the torque specs for the stock flywheel bolts

Instructions says not to use locktite
It would be best if you did not, but if you need to, just one drop.
@@McLeodRacingClutches okay thanks. I did use little on the bolts that hold clutch to flywheel but not any the ones that had lock washers
