- In this video, I will be presenting a case that the Shroud of Turin is actually the real burial cloth of Jesus the Messiah. Additionally, I will be presenting evidence that the image of the Shroud is the image formed at the precise moment Jesus was resurrected. I have had the wonderful privilege of working with many Shroud researchers over the years and would like to dedicate this video to two of the most important people in my life who have now gone on to be with the Lord in Heaven: Mary and Alan Whanger, you will forever be in our hearts and I look forward to seeing you both again in the Resurrection you so wonderfully defended during your years on Earth.
I'm a believer of Jesus Christ, but I can neither deny nor confirm that this is actually the Christ, so I'll just wait to see him in person.

Maybe it is the Shroud of Jesus. Maybe not. As it will be quite difficult to prove that was. So, you can decide if it is the shroud of Jesus yourself. What's important is that the life and existence of Jesus is not solely found in this shroud. As there are plenty more verifiable sources about Jesus, His Life, His Death, and His Resurrection to feel secure in your faith and knowledge to be on the right path. Either way it is kinda cool, even if it isn't Jesus.
The image on the shroud looks suspiciously like Frank Zappa!

The evidence God left is very thin on the ground & this shroud is even thinner evidence. I just don't get it, do people really need such a thing to bolster their faith? Even if they date it to the 1st Century that would only show that the material is of the 1st Century, it proves nothing about the image. So well done God, it's another vague possibility to go with all the other vague possibilities that proves nothing about your existence.

Read John chapters 19 and 20. The Shroud is one big FAKE if you trust scripture as truth and reality. Two things to note in chapter 19 of John. They wrapped the body of Christ in linen cloth;not a sheet. And it was a Jewish custom to use a napkin to cover the Face. NOT A SHEET!!
You sound mighty confused. The linen cloth that was used on Jesus _was_ the Shroud of Turin! And the face cloth was wrapped around Jesus's head after he died but was still on the cross. It was removed when he was brought into his tomb then folded and set aside. Today his face cloth is in Spain where it is known as the Sudarium of Oviedo.
Rather sad how many low IQ people there are out there that will call the Holy Shroud a fake due to their own ignorance.
