    A friend asked me to make him a leather wallet and I was happy to do so. He wanted a simple wallet, just for cards and bills, made out of veg tan leather, brown, with an engraving of a ship on the outside. He wanted it tough and durable and that's what I came up with. I'm pretty happy with the result and my friend seems to be really happy with his new wallet.
    This is my first video with a voice over and tags, and I would love to get your input. Don't hesitate to comment and share the video. And if you got the movie reference, you get one bonus point... :)

    • @RedSmith
      @RedSmith  3 роки тому +1

      Hello Arnaud! Thank you. That's the most difficult part of the job I would say. I use Illustrator, so I can use different layers to align all the parts and stitching holes perfectly. Once you have that and the right measurements, it becomes pretty easy but still super time consuming. Hope it helps!

    Hello Gérald. Super bel article que tu as fait, il est magnifique !
    Alors, pour ce qui des commentaires en voix off, je ne te serais d'aucune utilité dans la mesure ou je ne parle pas un traître mot d'anglais (même si les mots d'origine française représentent plus des deux tiers du vocabulaire anglais). Pour les sous-titres le problème est que les images défilent pendant que tu lis et en fait t'as rien vu... Et puis tes images sont tellement belles qu'elles parlent d'elles-mêmes. Bref si tu ajoutes des commentaires en voix off à tes vidéos, n'en vient pas à faire comme certains makeurs anglo-saxons qui parlent sans arrêt du début à la fin (parfois plus de 30 minutes) : ça soule ! 😂
    E>n tout cas continue à te faire et à nous plaisir.
    Prends soin de toi et des tiens.
    Amitiés.

    • @RedSmith
      @RedSmith  3 роки тому +1

      Bonjour Bernard ! Ne t'inquiète pas, je n'ai pas l'intention de passer des heures à parler devant la caméra, ce n'est pas trop mon style et je ne suis pas super à l'aise devant. Je préfère rester derrière :) Pour les prochaines, je vais tenter quelque chose de plus facile à suivre pour mes compatriotes. Tu me diras ce que tu en penses :)

      @@RedSmith Cool ! Super sympa (comme toujours) !
      Effectivement tu n'est pas très dialogue dans tes vidéos, mais les images et la musique sont tellement captivantes qu'on s'en passe facilement. Même moi je comprends tout 😂
      Donc, on attend avec impatience a surprise que tu nous prépares.
