Ive never sought-out or avoided any model or brand based solely on country of origin, but about 60% of my collection is American made. I have, however, avoided plenty of companies or makers for either being horrible people, running horrible businesses or just making sub-par knives. 90% of that category is American!
Well said. There's certain companies I won't buy from for the same reasons unfortunately. Luckily most knife companies/makers I've dealt with have been great people. Hope you had a happy 4th of July
