  • What's up loves?!
    Been wondering how to grow your hair past shoulder length? I was stuck at that length for the LONGEST and it is super discouraging to think you're sticking to a healthy hair routine all for your hair to break off.
    Ladies, if you have relaxed hair or texlaxed hair, this will be especially helpful for you. There are so many techniques to grow long hair, but relaxed hair needs some extra TLC.
    Make sure to stick to the end of this video, because here I share my TOP tips to grow your hair fast and how to get over the hurdle to obtaining long healthy hair.

    Hair is ALWAYS growing. Products, protective styles, trims, don't grow your hair. They help RETAIN the length. Change your focus to keeping the hair you grow strong and healthy so it all can stay on your head.

    A good way to tell if your hair is moisturized, is if you can “hear” it. Fully moisturized and sealed hair shouldn’t sound crunchy or dry, it should be soft and the strands should slip past each other so they also don’t tangle and break off.

      Rohiatou sonko Don’t worry babe, I’ve been there and have made the transformation so I know you will too. I would start with a big cut to even out your hair and chop off the damaged ends and then start implementing some of these tips. You got this!! ❤️

    I can attest to protective styles! They really do work. I like to do 3 months on, 2 months off and when I'm not wearing crochet braids or twists then my hair is in a bun most times. Oh and I wash every Sunday.

      Menapause is a bummer! My hair got super coarse and brittle (if that even possibe). I then started massaging my scalp for 15 minutes everyday and using natural castor oil every 3 days and it helped

      @@AlexisKimberlyy thats exactly what im doing .i just missed the way color looked when i was natural.i might just get some curly synthetic hair that mimics natural afro and make a crochet wig! That way i can have a natural afro with color. But still keep versatile.i just made a burgundy wig wore it one day lol im back to my texlaxed hair with curly fake pony tail. Color is cool but doinfg it repeatedly to my own hair id be bald. That happened to me in high school.i was natural bleached my hair blonde and same week added relaxer my hair fell out at rootsnothong but scalp i cried no one to blame but me.wore a wig rest of yr then went bald for picture day .yes i was bold!!!! I didnt care .i showed my bullies i didnt care they take my wig off because im not ashamed of whats underneath

      @@TanzytheglowupG YESS GIRL! Wow, how empowering. I don't think I was that brave back in high school. But LISTEN, if you can withstand that (between the bullying and overall hair challenges), you can overcome so much. And I completely support your versatility with those wigs. Sounds like you're super creative, which is great! I think the wigs are the best solution to maintaining your hair health while getting that color in your life. Good stuff babe!

    my hair was damaged because i relaxed my hair and when i straightened it i cut off all of them ends that were dry and my hair still feels like there’s damage on the ends for some odd reason

    • @Aphrodite01
      @Aphrodite01 2 роки тому

      Get a professional cut & ask the stylist how to develop a healthy hair care routine for your hair type. There may be far more damage than what you see & also if you don’t use professional scissors they will cause more split ends. Once you have a routine down just be consistent. It takes time. Might take about a year or more to recover from the damage and then about 3+ years to focus on growth/length retention.
