  • Probably the longest review I've ever done. Part of me wants to apologize for it being so long and the other part of me figures if you don't want to watch the whole thing you'll just skim through anyway as no one is forcing you to watch the full half hour. However, the reason behind the length here is that this release packs in a ton of content, and I wanted to do my best to touch on everything. I also wanted to try and give you as much information as possible on what makes this different than all the other book tests out there while still doing my best not to expose secrets or tip methods. After JUST doing a book test review a few days ago, I thought it was important to try and answer any of the upcoming questions that are likely to come up. Thanks for hanging out with me!
    ===========================================
"We've gaffed the holy hell outta this classic Sherlock Holmes book.
Re-writing it to feature one of the most powerful book test principles ever devised.
For those that don't know, a 'book test' is a demonstration that allows you to tell someone a word they've chosen, at random, from a book.
With this book, you could perform that effect more than 10 times in a row - and have a different outcome each time.
sidenote: although we don't recommend doing the same trick to the same audience 10 times.
Because of the way it's structured, your spectator can go to ANY page, a completely free choice - and you'll be able to know their word. They can go forward, back, 2 pages, 3 pages, first line, last line - whatever.
YOU WILL KNOW THE WORD THEY ARE THINKING OF.
    No memory work required.
    No cut pages.
    No peeking.
No force. They can go to ANY page"

There are quite a few book tests that use page numbers and the addition of page numbers to ascertain a word, paragraph, name or phrase. Harvey Berg had a very good one. I hope Ellusionist do proper crediting. Does this only allow you to know a word or name (not a paragraph)?

Multiple words. I do have book tests that incorporate page numbers but nothing like this. So if there are similar methods or tests out there it wasn’t to my knowledge (which I always make sure to mention because I definitely don’t have everything)

Mystify by Vinnie Sagoo uses this principle (but easier) and does not require a crib or any memorization (or depending on your background, 10 minutes of practice).

@tonyeye101 oh that’s cool to know! In the tutorial Pete said he hadn’t seen a method like this before and neither have I so to the best of my knowledge it was new but I’m not learning it’s not. Thanks for the info my friend :)

Excellent review. I have this booktest and its the easiest one I've ever seen. The End is coming and looking forward to trying it. But Revolution is excellent.

Thanks so much!! I agree it is really unique and there are a lot of different revelation and routine options. Very simple and very versatile.

Thank you for this review. This book arrived this week, love the method. If anyone wants to know what the book is all about, starring Peter Cushing the movie of the same title from 1968 is available to watch on UA-cam.....cheers.

I did order it a couple of days ago but being 512 pages long and depending how long it takes to get to Canada from the UK I’m not sure when I will have a review up. Also, if it’s one of those books that sells out and then isn’t reprinted a review can be almost insulting if no one has access to purchase the book after the review is uploaded.

@jonahberg9280 that’s been a work in process for awhile now. I’ve read through the first book, I need to get back on that. I’ll put it on my to do list thank you :)
