Great review. (as always) Not sure why "That guy with the glasses" rejected him. His videos are at least on par with the old Nostalgia Critic stuff, and better than his new content.. in my opinion.
+Blue Army He's rejected a lot of people with talent. Decker, The Unusual Suspect, RebelTaxi, etc. Although I think all of them dodged a bullet there since Channel Awesome is apparently shutting down due to how poorly run it is.

That Allosaurus that attacked them looked a lot like the one from the 1925 Lost World. Also, why did you skip the cameo by the Rhedosaurus from The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms?
There's a common idea in Hollywood that evolution follows a set course. So this movie works on the idea that this planet is younger than Earth and thus is still in the stage where there are dinosaurs. However, it's not just low budget productions that make this mistake. The episode "Threshold" from Star Trek Voyager has a crew member exposed to warp 10 energy that causes him to evolve at an accelerated rate. So he turns into whatever the human race will turn into in the future. That's the same science problem that this movie has. It assumed that evolution is set in stone and has to proceed along these lines. The movie "Evolution" has a similar idea of evolution following a set course.
This idea goes back at least to the 1890s. In 1895, Gustavus Pope wrote a novel called Journey to Venus where Venus is populated with dinosaurs, hominids, and other creatures from Earth's past.
You know a pigeon during World War 1 was shot like 5 times. And managed to deliver a message that saved a platoon of soldiers. Birds can be pretty Hardy, And dinosaurs are basically just tougher birds
Ordered this on DVD years ago. Only thing that really stuck out was the soundtrack.oh and I think captain Kirk came running through their camp followed by a slow moving lizard man, but that may have been a deleted scene.
Bless you. I grew up watching this as a kid. Still have the vhs. You shoulda got the rifftrax dvd. They include the movie without the rifftrax commentary on the disc.
I cracked up @6:27 at both the shitty acting and the ridiculousness of her answer when the woman says, "Oh, I'm sorry, I- I forgot to tow it in," w/ the distress & remorse of someone who forgot to bring the Shamwow. LMAO!! OMG, woman, you're the communications officer! You have one purpose on this crew and you forget the one device that is essential for getting rescued, which should be topmost on your mind!
Always enjoying your commentary/reviews, but mostly the once where you are doing it alone! Pleas consider reviewing: - Wishmaster - Lost in Space - Even Horizon Thanks :)
Actually, of the four planets with surfaces you can land on in our star system, one is life-bearing and two more have areas that are at least theoretically relatively habitable.
I was like “I want to see a review of a weird old movie I remember seeing as a kid… doubt anyone has done it…. Oh shit my favorite reviewer did it!!!” Thank you DS!!!
Saw this movie back in the 90's, when I was a lil' kid. It was a hell of a time, because it was one of my first movie experiences. For some reason I remember it starting a bit different, though. With a team of paleonthologists being formed to investigate a site of some sort, using a highly technological transport, which ended up somehow sending them to the land of dinosaurs. It could have been a different movie, tho. It probably was. IT WAS!
The best way to describe this movie is that it's a combination of Land of the Lost and Planet of the apes. With it leaning more toward Land of the Lost
" I'm sorry I didn't know the air responded to dubstep this badly!" Is that a reference to the music video "Make It Bun Dem" by Skrillex? If so, I tip my hat to you good sir.
''If u want your species to survive... you're gunna have to do alot more fuckin'!" He has also learned this from playing Banished! & Planet Base, folks!
Perfectly good Giant Eggs and the knowledge that the giant Birds on Earth can easily kill a man And you leave the eggs alone and just look for the big animal to fight.
*oh my gwoad I seriously cried laughing at* 9:37 *ahahahahaahh "nobody cares bitch!" that had me cackling like a fkn fuck nugget, holy shit!!! you crack me up, Decker!! god love ya!*
heh, this is an older movie i actually did watch. it was fun though my main interest back then was simply to see things with dinosaurs and this one was a lot more accurate than say, king kong, where stegosaurs and brontosaurs were carnivorous.
Samuel Benefiel Since they're other worldly dinosaur-oids one can't expect them to be exactly like earth dinos. Perhaps these dino-oids developed tails with more maneuverability. Things that make you go "hmmm ...?"
I used to own the VHS copy of this movie when I was a kid. I thought the DVD version would have better picture quality. Oh and Decker water can be deadly in more recent Rockstar games.
Loved it as a kid growing up. Watched it again the other day with my youngest...she thought it was horrible and I enjoyed the nostalgia....it's so bad it's good lol
I remember I had my mom buy me this movie when I was a little kid thinking it was a documentary about dinosaurs, how my little mind was disappointed and confused when I saw what this was :b
Just wanted to show off that R2 Xbox didn't ya? Haha it's awesome
+Alonso Arana Pretty much, though I did really have problems with the DVD and couldn't rip the movie like I usually do. Ah, well.

That Allosaurus that attacked them looked a lot like the one from the 1925 Lost World. Also, why did you skip the cameo by the Rhedosaurus from The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms?
I think it's because the director really admires the work of Ray Harryhausden, the Rhedosaurus made a cameo as a tribute to his work.
Joe Stewart-Paul I guess, but why didn't he say anything about it in the review? He completely skipped it.
+Hewy Toonmore Hmm that's true.
Ahh..... Isn't Earth technically a Planet of Dinosaurs?
There are currently 10,425 species of Avian Dinosaur currently on Earth.
+Velociraptors of Skyrim I view it more as a "planet of deliciousaurs."
+Decker Shado Say that to Rexy.
+Velociraptors of Skyrim who's rexy?
Rowan Smith The T-rex from JP1 and Jurassic World.
***** And then she would tell your family how you tasted with hot sauce and Bacon.
+Decker Shado Rhedosaurus from the Beast from 20,000 Fathoms was also in this movie.
I love this movie even how old it looks
The RiffTrax version is an absolute treat.
Holy sh*t, an R2-D2 Xbox? That is f*cking awesome, dude. ;D
George Bean They're not that rare, are they?
George Bean my friend has one. also, anybody catch what game decker played last
This film was a hoot! There was also an Ann McCaffrey book - called Dinosaur Planet with a similar premise- must have been a 1978 thing!
Nothing like a little movie reviewing to lift the spirits.

Emus
Yes the berry poison was necessary. Trex skeletons have been found that healed off worse wounds such as loss of tail and even impaling
Ah I remember this. A hotel I was at once had rental videos and this was one.
"That's a false dichotomy, Lee." Jim!
I finally watch this full on YT. I really enjoy old school Dino's from maker stop motion...it look kinda cute.
can you review the Thing 1982 or 2011 next week
1982 version, one of my favorite movies of all time, as I'm sure is with many of you. The 2011 film...meh?
+mettaworldwill For someone who watched it while I was pretty young, it was pretty terrifying.
And to make it complete, he should review the 1951 original, too.
Ordered this on DVD years ago. Only thing that really stuck out was the soundtrack.oh and I think captain Kirk came running through their camp followed by a slow moving lizard man, but that may have been a deleted scene.
Still got your dreamcast and N64, good gamer indeed :-)

Any luck with Pacific and Atlantic rim
Decker Shado is that Earth Defense Force 2025 your pulling out your xbox
Please tell me "Caveman" with Ringo Starr is on the dinocember list this year :O
I discovered this movie a few years ago and loved its science fiction cheesiness!
Plot twist: They actually fell through a time and space warp and were all killed when the meteor that killed the dinosaurs hit.
When the ship was sinking it was a ripple from the ship of 20 million miles to Earth. And there is a dinosaur in here that looks a lot like quenchy
:-) Nice antidote to Chrimbo. Merry Christmas Decker
That spider scene scared me as a child
Can you do Jurassic World next week please Decker?
Actually, of the four planets with surfaces you can land on in our star system, one is life-bearing and two more have areas that are at least theoretically relatively habitable.
I was like “I want to see a review of a weird old movie I remember seeing as a kid… doubt anyone has done it…. Oh shit my favorite reviewer did it!!!” Thank you DS!!!
I actually really like this movie
Are any of the actors still alive?
Saw this movie back in the 90's, when I was a lil' kid. It was a hell of a time, because it was one of my first movie experiences. For some reason I remember it starting a bit different, though. yeah that movie got a ton less dinosaurs and a lot more walking scenes and talking scenes lol
What movie was it?
Decker was right. As long as you own a copy you can download it.
1:01 jup definitely didn't look straight into the camera there...
..."Their plans are to grab their stuff & quickly retreat". 😂
The best way to describe this movie is that it's a combination of Land of the Lost and Planet of the apes. With it leaning more toward Land of the Lost
To be fair to Jurassic World, it's explained that the genetic tampering of the dinosaurs results in the lack of feathers.
Great review! By the way, there are some copies of the movie in which the night scenes aren't so dark.
Clicked "like" for the first minute and a half alone!
You know two years later Decker's joke about Space Engineers is still true.
Is that... an R2-D2 Xbox 360?
*That. Is. Awesome.*
Loved it as a kid and still do
Decker. You need an Xbow controller to operate the machine. Not a tv remote. XD
19:20 NOT Nyla, twas Harvey's assistant.

Is Jim played by the same guy who played Papa Jupiter from the 70s version of "The Hills Have Eyes"?
Yep. In fact the actor's name is James Whitworth in case if you're curious about his name.
What brand is your dvd player? It looks cool
''If u want your species to survive... you're gunna have to do alot more fuckin'!" He has also learned this from playing Banished! & Planet Base, folks!
Hey Decker, Have you reviewed Loch Ness Horror? Curious.
I have the same xbox 360 just like that...it even came with a c3po controller :).
Perfectly good Giant Eggs and the knowledge that the giant Birds on Earth can easily kill a man And you leave the eggs alone and just look for the big animal to fight.
I feel like I just watched a movie based on a 70's-era space themed pinball table.

Dam that intro music rang a bell in my brain been to long I havnt seen this movie !!
hey i was wondering if you could review some dinosaur documentaries
Hey Decker, I saw this movie a while back, and it's pretty darn decent. Though I admit that they do have thing wrong about the tails of dinosaurs.
Samuel Benefiel
Since they're other worldly dinosaur-oids one can't expect them to be exactly like earth dinos. Perhaps these dino-oids developed tails with more maneuverability. Things that make you go "hmmm ...?"
You have a DREAMCAST!? Instant SUB 👍
Also I really like the way you review movies, reminds me of the classy and simple Nostalgia Critic reviews
great Video ...but i miss Creepy

I thought the stop motion was actually quite good. I saw this one as a kid
I used to own the VHS copy of this movie when I was a kid. I thought the DVD version would have better picture quality.
Oh and Decker water can be deadly in more recent Rockstar games.
