Something I like about Arc V Jack, he seems to have more ways of protecting his monsters
Plus he doesn't spam his effect like Arc V Edo does

Destroyed is still destroyed regardless of easy revival. Monsters have physical bodies and alive, so Odd Eyes literal feels the experience of death

Yes, that's how anime duels are made. If not for anime effects, Scarlight wouldnt destroy Tokens and inflict damage, nor would Battle Fusion work.

Doesnt mirage of nightmare make him discard 4 cards during his standby phase? I know he activated a quickplay spell to remove it but technically its a chain and the card still resolves
Emergency Provisions activated and sent it to GY before it activates. The reason why Mirage of Nightmare didn't activate is because trigger effects that activate on a specific phase don't act the same way a normal card or effect act. Judai can decide when to activate it in that certain Phase. Even if it did activate, Continuous Spells resolve on the field. If they leave the field, they stop.
