No he couldn't. They only work if a Pendulum Monster on Yuya's field attacks. Neither of his big dragons are Pendulum Monsters, so the Gazers don't work.

My biggest problem with the Synchro Arc was they only brought back Turbo duels in name only, they were just playing the regular game on motor cycles.

Maybe if they apply the speed counters with the field spell Cross Over Accel and the action cards then it would’ve been better

Arc-V is basically just 5Ds in Zexal art style; what made it unenjoyable to watch was that the action spells carry the MC's game the most.

4300-600=3700. 4000-3700=300. His monster had its atk points halved twice from 2400.
