    Woo! New challenges for the new year! Thank you Lauren for finding new FUN ways to get us Moving and Shouting! I was definitely sweating and out of breath by the end. I appreciate you showing both seated and standing versions off the exercises as I try to always add the challenge of standing when I do your workouts. The crossing the midline section, especially when we had to use opposites was my challenging section. I will be revisiting this workout again to try and improve on that part! Keep it coming Lauren!

I encourage people to learn the movements and patterns seated - there's a lot to learn.... and then if it is appropriate - challenge yourself and try it standing.     Hi, Lauren! Happy 2024 and thanks for the great workout! I will do these exercises a few more times to try to master them. I love the full range of motion and patterns, that on first and second viewing, are really having me think!

      Well it sounds like you really get it...that is exactly the purpose and intent - get your whole body moving up but also get your brain engaged too so you have to focus and strengthen brain function - memory, attention and executive function. It takes a few tries but that's all part of learning and building brain and muscle strength. 💪

    Hey Lauren, such a good workout so thank you! This class really got me concentrating and was a real challenge throughout, particularly with the 'squat, standing' exercises. My heart rate was definitely up a fair bit too, so a great cardio workout also. I need to practise these exercises a few times over the next few days, so will look forward to that. Also REALLY enjoyed the pattern exercises towards the end of class too and you're absolutely right, it does help remember the patterns when you say them outloud.     Another great workout Lauren. I'm managing to keep up but still get right and left muddled from time to time! Thanks for challenging me.

      Good for you....its more about moving and trying than getting it perfect. The more you practice the better you will get. In the meantime, your are strengthening your brains neuroplasticity which means you are strengthening your brains function. If you watch real close - you will see I get muddled up sometimes too. Its all part of learning, working and getting better. YAY

    YAY! 🏃🏼‍♀️ You have me sweating, Lauren… 😅😅😅! Thanks for a wonderful cardio workout. The real challenge for me was keeping up with the ‘squat, stand, reach’ moves... I need to practice these moves slowly. 😊

      Esther - thank you..... as always a positive and strong effort by you. I love how hard you work. The squat -stand-reach is difficult. Good for you for keeping at it, breaking it down on your own (slowing the movements) that's a really great way to learn it. Practice makes BETTER! And Better is what we are all about.
