Do you think that Sopranos S1-3 is better than Sopranos S4-6 in terms of writing? I think S1-3 were more dramatically engaging, but S4-6 really started to focus on its social commentary and character development too. Imo I prefer the earlier seasons but season 6 was the best for me, especially the 2nd half

In fact those seasons I mentioned writing was at best Also, Season 6 sopranos is more intriguing and high stakes than season 2 was for me. Most sopranos seasons writing was consistent. Season 6 sopranos is good because it feels so tragic story like bb season 5 did.
