My rule of thumb with a palette is I have to like 70% of the shades. And I don't buy any crazy colors because I know that I'll never use them.
Yea I'm the same way. If I can find an individual shadow that has a color that I really want. I rather do that than waste a palette

I only buy a palette if I like every single colour in it. I hate being wasteful. It helps with not spending all my money too, lol.

Lol tell that to the commenters on her forever21 makeup vid. "Omg! She's only exited about a product when it's high end why did she spit that gloss bla bla such a brat" it's like they've never watched a video of her except for that one!

I remember my first eyeshadow palette.. The tarte tease! I love the colors for some looks, but I did not know what blending was or where to put eyeshadow on the eye. I just layered it on the lid XD

I need to do a palette collection video. I lost count after 80 palettes...probably up to 100 or more now. Man that's a lot of money spent that I could have saved!
It's so sad how you keep saying "I have too much makeup". Makeup is something a lot of people collect, so to complain about having too much makeup-just embrace it and stop making it a bad thing to have "too much makeup".
No no it's just too much for her preference, judging by her channel she loves collecting, she just has too much for her own good and doesn't use a lot of it therefore gives it away, she has no problem with collecting
I'm a strong believer that collecting has nothing to do with size. I think everyone is free to have an amount that they deem fit, but personally, I really love make up and I especially have a thing for Tom Ford. Despite slowly adding some TF makeup to my collection, I do not feel the necessity to hoard every single one of his products even though I am not using it. I'm just a super minimalist that doesn't like to be burdened by material things that I'm not using. However, other people thrive in the opposite environment. Point is, if she feels she has too much makeup and she sees it as a negative thing, she is free to do so.
She is not complaining though...
I have 6 large drawers full of makeup and I like to give away what I didn't use or what I didn't like and then make room for new stuff. She is doing the same I believe. Why hoard stuff?

I saved up to buy the UD Naked 3 palette for ages. When I finally got it, it turned out the shadows make my eyes really itchy. 🙄😭
I've got light green-hazel eyes I've been saving up for Naked 3 too I got it like a week and a half ago I LOVE İT. I already had the Naked 1 and it just doesn't suit my eye colour. So I think maybe if you have blue eyes you could start saving up for that :) I wanted to tell this because I think they have different textutres/structure. I have a friend that also has Naked 3 and her skin is like super sensitive she felt itchy and since I didnt like Naked 1 with my eye colour I gave it to my friend and she told me it didnt felt itchy like Naked 3. So what I'm trying to say is that if you like the colours of UD Naked 1 palette you should def get it :)

+Natalie Versai An allergy is an allergy and it doesn't matter where you put the product because the manifestation is still the same. You probably had an adverse reaction which would be different from an allergy, but people get those confused all the time.

Surprise; none of them do. 😹 It all depends on what your real lashes are like. If your barely have any lashes, no amount of “falsies” mascara is going to change that
I love Tati but she has a problem lol. I cant help thinking: "the simplynailogical of makeup". Tati has ten containers worth of makeup and Cristine has 4 shelves of nail polish.
Hi Tati - I know this might seem silly but can you or have you ever done tutorials/tips on a "touch-up routine" .... I think getting your make up to look good in the morning is easy since you are working with a clean slate but when you get home and only have 10 minutes to "refresh" for yourself and can't take off your face and start over can you give tips/suggestions on how to still look like you just redid your whole face? Are there do's/don't for things that you can reapply if you have put powder/setting spray on?? Any tips or suggestions is greatly appreciated.
Would you do a video on how to pop eyeshadow out of palettes without ruining them?
Search for something along the lines of . That will yield the ideal tool. From there, it's a matter of poking and the occassional clever application of heat. There are many, many videos on UA-cam - even to the point of focusing on specific brands/product lines in different videos. For example, I know I've seen depot videos of NYX singles and Milani Bella Eyes singles. Good luck! (But be warned. There is. packaging. you will. miss. - _Ghost of Cosmetics Past_)
it's sad that I'm so into make up but I don't own any pallete. Poor human problems. Yeah life. 😁
I started out with Bh cosmetics. I have 15 high end palettes and still reach for my Bh palettes.
I have Bh cosmetics palette, and I didn't like it. I think Wet 'n' Wild palettes are so much better and cheaper. Try the Comfort Zone palette, it's less than $5.
Also, try Make Up Revolution. Some of their palettes are below $10.
Hi Tati! I have a TON of makeup that I've used once and not returned. Wouldn't it be great to have a beauty junkie swap party in the OC/LA area? Everyone brings what they don't want anymore, gets a "chip" for each item, then we take turns using our "chips" to get items we want?
That's a great idea and most makeup is able to be sanitized. U should organize that and post to all the social media sites. And to ensure everyone sanitizes correctly ask people to bring their items to a little booth set up to sanitize everything at the event. (Swap Fest would be a great name) A door cover charge would cover the cost of sanitizer and a venue to have the event at. I would also make it an option to buy the chips/tokens so people that don't have things to trade in can still get stuff. Good luck I wish I lived out there :-)

I can't believe some girls on here asking Tati for these palettes. She clearly has said throughout ALL of her graveyard videos that all of this stuff goes to her girlfriends & sisters. I don't understand how anyone could ask a total stranger for their stuff. Do what the rest of us do- save up $$$ & go buy it if you want it.
***** Although I understand both of your points, what's the problem with giving your fans stuff? I don't see what the big deal is. I don't agree with people BEGGING and e-mailing DEMANDING stuff, but Tati gives away stuff every Friday. What's the difference with this? The only reason I would think she wouldn't want to give these things to strangers is because it's not sanitary, but to just give it to family members repeatedly is kinda meh. I try to give away my makeup to as many different people as possible. No reason to keep stuff I'm not using, but also no reason to give stuff to my sister when I know she is consistently buying products I suggest or has a lot of makeup already. The only thing I wish Tati would do, is for anything limited edition, why not give it to a subscriber? IDK..I don't think it's the end of the world to mention giving it to subscribers and actually giving it to subscribers.
I agree w/ Melissa G, she probably doesn't give to subscribers/stranger due to sanitation reasons. I have a lot of makeup but not NEARLY as much as I used to. Used to give to family, friends, & co-workers (alcohol spritzed, of course) but the last big clean-out we gave it to the Women's Shelter. It was hugely appreciated. Just an idea for people:)

Melissa Gandarinho I do get what you're saying, but like you said Tati does do lots of voluntary giveaways to subscribers, PLENTY! I think the other posters were pointing out how even though she does so many of these giveaways already, it's in very poor taste for subscribers to still be putting their hands out and asking for MORE. It's different to receive a gift freely given than to go begging right?

I know this is an older video, and I heard you say you give away to sisters, friends, etc. But if you can find a womens' center near you, a place for women who've been the victim of domestic violence, they LOVE to get makeup and skincare items. The only thing not good to donate is mascara and lipsticks that have been used right off the bullet or liquid lipstick used off the applicator. They get so happy! Just a thought...God bless!

My mom was in a womens center, and they got makeup. They were all REALLY happy for it, because they didn't all have money for it. But it was like a war, they all wanted everything they got, and they only got makeup every third month

SallieFretMet She's actually mentioned before she does donate a lot of unopened makeup she has to her local women's shelter. I think she just has to be careful about used products because of Hygiene issues.

+Sarah Mallonee if you're afraid try dedicating a little area or a side of the eye-shadow to wet use and keep the rest of it dry. Best to definitely avoid the entire eye-shadow pan for wet use!
just a suggestion but what i do for wet use is that i put my brush in the shadow and get the amount i need then i spray with fix+ thereby avoiding getting my shadows wet in the pallete

I was looking around Ulta's website and randomly came across this little limited addition gem!! :-) Yet I haven't heard a single person talk about it... Go get it girls while you still can!!!!!!

I go to dress link, and they have like sets of brushes for like 3$. Yes, it's a Chinese ran website, but everything is practically made in China, so you can find decent brushes for ... way cheaper. XD
