Does anyone else love the beginning of Makeup Graveyards where Tati sorts and re-sorts everything in fast motion? I swear, it hypnotizes me or something.
I'm a Makeup brush Hoarder! It's horrible! The more, the better! But when Its time to wash them… biggest headache ever! Who else hates washing those things?! I Wash mine every Sunday and I dread it all the time! Love you Tati!
The best thing (little pricey) to clean my brushes is Philosophy Purity face wash. It really cleans the foundation from brushes like no other. Just put a little on the dry brush, work it in and let sit for a few minutes. Rinse swirling the brush onto a clean wash cloth under cool running water. It's like magic. Place a brush guard on the clean damp brush and dry brush side down (the guard will keep it raised) in a meshy pencil cup.
Totally...I'm still a makeup student but I have some freelance jobs... I got home last night felt like 'hmmm I don't have anything to do tonight!!' When I was ready to go to bed.... I just realized I haven't wash my brushes for a week.... Omg 11'o clock standing in my kitchen washing all my brushes😂
I wash my brushes after every use with a mild facial makeup remover and condition the natural hair ones once every two week. I have several of the style brushes that I use so if I am in a rush, I leave the used set for a day and was them all together. And they are always clean and work great. Has anyone ever tried Jane Iredale brushes? They are really made well hand tie.
I appreciate your honest opinion on your sigma brushes. I feel that I take good care of my brushes and yet my sigma brushes don't stay soft. A lot of gurus are sponsored by them so I see why they are raved about. But I really enjoyed all the other different brands you brought to light! I would love to see the highlighter video first :)
but many of her favorite brushes are the it cosmetics ones, and weren't all of those sent to her? i wonder if she'd feel the same way about sigma if she didn't have a ridiculous $60 brush to replace it with that she received for free.
You are such a natural beauty! This is why I support because you can use makeup to enhance not overly enhance your natural beauty to the point where you don't look like yourself. Thanks for the amazing content that you do on your channel!
Hi Tati! I'm a new subscriber and I've been watching all of your graveyard vids (loving them) and I think it's absolutely amazing and honorable that you donate items to a local women's shelter. I love you even more now knowing that you serve humanity along with being fabulous! Thanks for the great vids!
Can you do a "top x products to buy if you're visiting America"? I always have a hard time picking out what to get when I go, because we have maybe 1/50 of the brands in Norway, and it's twice as expensive, so I like stocking up if I'm going there, but as said, it's so much to choose from, and I can't get everyting. So basically an "all-time favourites" with maybe 2-3 products from each category?
I'm in desperate need for this as I'm planning a huge Sephora blow out for my first visit to America next year and I really trust Tati's recommendations!
I like that idea! I tell visitors to remember four words...Sephora, Ulta, Target and Walgreens. If you can't find it among those four stores, I don't think it exists.
I love how honest you are about the Sigma brushes, I am so glad I haven't listened to the other Guru's and purchased them. Other youtubers make it seem like Sigma is LIFE and they can't go on without them and that everyone should own them, but clearly they are not all that. I have been getting my brushes from Ulta " IT Costmetics" or ordered some from Morphe Brushes, and I did see a review you did on the Makeup Geek Brushes, I am not looking to spend hundreds of dollars on brushes but I am willing to spend more on brushes that will last and I'm glad I'm not spending it on Sigma.
THANK YOU for being honest about Sigma brushes. Maybe other vloggers are being honest and just haven't had theirs as long so they haven't fallen apart on them yet. However, I find it hard to believe that every single beauty vlogger loves every single brush and the only vloggers who say anything negative about them are the ones who aren't affiliates. That definitely makes me go, 'hmmm....'!!
Amelia Dowling An affiliate is someone who is attached to a business. They make money when they refer someone to a business. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affiliate_marketing
awesome! down 37 brushes! I absolutely love this series...very happy to see you made it a playlist...thank u for being so organized and on top of channel...love it!!
I find it so sad/ frustrating that it has become necessary for you to tell people where your brushes are going and for people not to ask. No one should have to explain to others what they are doing with their things. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I find it incredibly rude for people ask to be given things that another person owns. Just because someone doesn't want/find a use for something anymore doesn't mean it's a free for all. Maybe it's my pride, but there's not way I would ever do something like that.
I agree with you! I feel like when someone doesn't want something anymore, people are like "give it to me!!!". I'm glad that she is giving it to a organization that will be more than happy with her donation.
Thank You!! Ive said this so many times! Even on pinksofoxy channel when she was doing her decluttering, it was like a bunch of vultures over there!! She clearly stated at the beggining of EVERY DECLUTTERING video she did that it was going to her family/friends & a womens shelter. I mean she was getting rid of MAC eyeshadows, NARS & other grest quality stuff that ppl were just drooling over!! Ppl would say "you should have a blog sale or do a giveaway for us." It was disgusting & pathetic of these ppl to ask for her stuff. I would make a comment saying "shes already said where her dtuff is going &someone would say "well what does it hurt you if i ask her for stuff?" Or "it doesn't hurt to ask" like seriously?!?!? Ppl just didnt get it. Some had no shame at all, none. I felt bad for Christine(pinksofoxy)
Yes! It is tacky and rude. I love decluttering and the items go to friends/family or get donated. Some things need to be trashed because they are old or in bad shape.
I hope you show us a before and after in your finale video! like.. how your makeup collection looked and was organized before to how it is now. I realize you would have had to film a clip before you started this whole process, but I hope you did! love this series.
It's refreshing that Tati speaks the truth about the Sigma brushes. I have many of them, and they aren't anything special. I reach for my cheaper Real Techniques brushes more than my Sigma ones which do feel dry to me. One ferrule has come loose on one of my Sigma brushes as well.
So glad to hear some honesty about Sigma. I feel like too many gurus just use them for the money they get. Thank you for always being honest! :) Weather it is good or bad.
Agreed. I find their eye brushes to be of great quality (mostly) but I am not a fan of their face brushes. I have the F40 and that's it. The others that I owned I either gave away or straight up threw out. They get SO dirty.
Will Cook Agreed! I had much better luck with my eye brushes from Sigma than my face brushes. I am a huge fan of Zoeva now - will never buy a Sigma brush again!
If you love the quality of Hakuhodo brushes but don't want to spend so much money for the S line, you should get the ones from the J line. They have the J142 and J146 which is basically the same shape as the S142 and S146. The bristles may differ, some of the more luxurious ones are squirrel, but their goat haired brushes are also incredibly soft.
Tati, can you do an updated video on what brushes you're currently using and loving? I know you recently did a morphe haul, wondering what your impressions of them are now. Some of mine broke after only a few uses so curious how yours are fairing.
No, when you *smoke out your lower lashline* it makes your eyes look SO much better! You have been on it this past year! Your makeup has been so stunning!!
So excited for the final tour!!! I was a little curious about kabuki brushes o.O but some great suggestions thank you!! And I am absolutely loving your make up this week!
Oh gosh I really need to get better at my brush game. I bought the other day the sculpting brush from Real Techniques and i'm looooving it! I never had a brush that was so plush and soft and blended things out so well. If the other brushes are as nice as this one, sure as hell i'm getting them all!
Please do the makeup graveyard for highlighters next! Tati, I love the bold nail colors you have been wearing lately, and the smoked out bottom lash line looks fantastic on you! I love your videos!
Love love love makeup graveyard! Your my favorite Tati! Hope things are going better in the household with your tragic news. You and James are so adorable together. It's easy to see the love. Hold onto that.❤️
tati you're voice is so relaxing I feel like I'm watching my teacher explaining and giving ous knowledge and everything just sinking in you're amazing at reviewing and showing ous how to apply make up the correct way very inspiring i love you I'm so happy for you're success you deserve it you're 1# in my list of UA-cam videos I watch on a daily
Tati, just want to say that I think you are a strong woman and I am impressed that you keep putting up videos despite your recent loss. Very inspiring!
It was hard to see those brushes go. I hoard them like nobody's business. They are hands down my favorite thing to buy. I would love to see a highlighter video! Love the Mary Loumanizer but I've been thinking about grabbing a more subtle one for light makeup days. Great video. Glad to see you doing good.
Brushes are something I can't get rid of. U live all the ones I have, they all have a purpose and they work really well for me. I don't like using the same ones all the time so I switch it up constantly and that's why I have a lot of them. Loving this series! 👍👍💖💖
Glad to have you back Miss Tati! I've really been liking the smokey under-eye look you've been going with lately it looks great :) Still thinking of you and James and keeping you in my prayers!
I loved seeing your collection of brushes. I probably have 25. I love collecting them in TSV's especially the IT Cosmetics brushes. I feel that they are the best brushes I have used to date. Thanks Tati!
I think the smoked-out shadow under your eye looks beautiful! I was surprised to hear you say you didn't like it before, because with a light eye color, it usually intensifies the color and looks great. Thanks for the mini brush reviews! It's helpful as I'm building and improving my collection.
I never really got into sigma brushes, I used one and I just thought it was ok. I'm such a brush addict! I love love love brushes, I'm impressed that you were able to get rid of so many! I'd love to see brow products!
Love your braid! So admirable of you to donate your brushes, I love that. Sonia Kashuk is really bringing great products to us, so happy. Great to hear that IT brushes are on your love list, my daughter just bought some IT products and she'll be excited to hear about the brushes. Yay I just bought the ELF tapered brush, your recommendation confirms how great it is. Also love your necklace! Your lower line smudge looks amazing, your entire look today is beautiful. I bought an Eco Tools brush set from Walgreens and love love them. Great vid, thank you Tati.
Thank you for talking about Sigma!! I've only bought an F80 and I do love it BUT I bought it earlier this year and already had to replace it. They did replace it for free after I bitched a lot so I will give them that much. I've had a set of the sephora airbrush brushes for a few years and they have not shed at all.
I am now convinced (after watching Tati and several other gurus) that Sigma is a total farce :( I think we all fell under their spell from watching Jaclyn Hill rave about them, as well as others, but I am certain that was all just a huge marketing ploy... I absolutely love pre-fame Jaclyn Hill, but she is now giving the exact same praise for other companies... which further supports my "marketing ploy" theory about Sigma... anyways, I have luckily only bought two brushes from Sigma (E40 & Pencil Brush), which are both less than a month old... I was not as blown away as I expected to be from either... anyways, I am going to try some Sonia Kashuk and It Cosmetics next, as well as Zoeva, and make my own judgments ;) Good luck!
Marina Lambiris I bought the F80 because Jaclyn and a bunch of others girls had raved about it. I guess that it makes it really easy to love a product when the company is sending them to you for free and cutting you a cheque to talk about them. Now anytime I notice one product on a bunch of UA-cam beauty girl's channels at the same time, it makes me skeptical of what they say because they've clearly all been sent PR packs. This video sent Tati to the top of my trusted UA-camrs list.
it looks amazing when you have shadow underneath the eye, DOES NOT draw attention to dark cirkles. you look stunning and fresh. love that blush on you !
Yes I know what u mean about sigma brushes clogging! The f80 looks awesome buffing in your foundation but a couple days later it's all clogged and looks really streaky! If I don't have time to clean it I'll scrub it on a makeup wipe to unclog it. But it's really starting to shed a lot lately I think I'll have to buy a new one soon..
this was PERFECT!!!!!!!! i love that you were honest about sigma... most beauty bloggers have nothing to say but good things but you were just flat out honest... thank you!
That lower liner eyeshadow looks great! I can never notice any eye bags from you. I'm really digging this look with the nice long but still natural eyelashes :D very cute!
Loving the smokey under eye look on you, as you say your concealing is great, definitely doesn't draw attention to under eye circles, infact it really makes your eyes pop!
Wow thank you so much for this. I was thinking about investing in sigma brushes after hearing every other youtuber rave about them. But I am definitely going to put my money to better use! Thank you so much for your honesty Tati, really saved me from wasting!
I kind of want an updated version of all her makeup graveyards
i agree... its been two years. lol
Yeah she should do a updated version
Brittney Pinzon me 2
Rena Rockey is it legit do you have to put in a credit card code or anything
Awe that's so sweet what she's doing with her brushes!😊
Does anyone else love the beginning of Makeup Graveyards where Tati sorts and re-sorts everything in fast motion? I swear, it hypnotizes me or something.
I'm a Makeup brush Hoarder! It's horrible! The more, the better! But when Its time to wash them… biggest headache ever! Who else hates washing those things?! I Wash mine every Sunday and I dread it all the time! Love you Tati!
Once i got the Benjabelle Brush tree it helped a lot! Im a MUA so I also love brushes lol.
The best thing (little pricey) to clean my brushes is Philosophy Purity face wash. It really cleans the foundation from brushes like no other. Fav thing to clean brushes is the beauty blender solid. One step cleaning.
I love how Tati doesn't discriminate between high end or drug store.
Wow. Thanks for your honesty about sigma. I feel like youtubers hawk the brushes so much that it gets too be too much/annoying/fishy. Love you!
I appreciate your honest opinion on your sigma brushes. I feel that I take good care of my brushes and yet my sigma brushes don't stay soft. "Tati got 99 problems but a brush ain't one" 😂😂😂....literally that was the first thing that came to mind
Kasual Khrissy LOL awesome!
You are such a natural beauty! This is why I support because you can use makeup to enhance not overly enhance your natural beauty to the point where you don't look like yourself. Thanks for the amazing content that you do on your channel!

I suggest going to sephora and ulta websites and looking at "what's hot" or "bestsellers" categories and reading the reviews
Eliz Palmtree I do basically everyday, but I dont just want the new stuff, I want the best of the old and the new! :)
Go to Sephora and drugstores such as Ulta, Target and Walmart! x
You had 99 phew, 1 below crazy :-) Good for you on doing this and love that you are donating to the women's shelter. ♥ Elle

YES. Definitely. In another video she mentioned giving it to friends and family and that was seen as "selfish". So rude. Really?
Lindy Prince that is rude! She spent her money on those items, she can give them to whoever she wants to.
Thank You!! Ive said this so many times! Even on pinksofoxy channel when she was doing her decluttering, it was like a bunch of vultures over there!! You should watch ThriftThick! Shes so real and honest x
+Lauren Howlter No
This is seriously my favourite series, good job purging Tati! It's so tough!
I think it's impossible for Tati to look bad. Honestly. She's absolutely stunning!

Tati, your hair is super cute in this video!
Ps, your concealing job is great and the smoked out effect on the lower lashes looks awesome!
I can't wait to see your highlighter collection. You are the queen of highlighting after all!!!
so cool that you donated. that's a wonderful helping thing for women in need.
I am loving this series.
Everything about your look in this video is just enviable perfection. The fat side plait, boho chic, the lashes, smoked out undereye, everything!

Oh gosh I really need to get better at my brush game. I bought the other day the sculpting brush from Real Techniques and i'm looooving it! I never had a brush that was so plush and soft and blended things out so well. If the other brushes are as nice as this one, sure as hell i'm getting them all!
You look so young and fresh with this hair style and big lashes! So so cute!

As I was watching your video, I loved the smoked out eyeshadow under your eyes! It didn't draw negative attention at all.
I'm loving the eyeshadow on your bottom lash line. Looks beautiful!
This braid and makeup look are so amazing on you!!

Tati, just want to say that I think you are a strong woman and I am impressed that you keep putting up videos despite your recent loss. Very inspiring!
Makeup brushes are the hardest thing to figure out to buy. There are so many different ones that do the same thing. Love this series!!
Tati- your videos always make me happy when I see them in my subscription box! Wish I had the patience to organize like you do!
I LOVE THESE MAKEUP GRAVE YARDS!! I'm obsessed!
Love your hair and make up in this video!!! You look glowing and your eyeshadow looks amazing!!
Your makeup looks absolutely gorgeous. I'm a huge fan of smoked out shadow under the eye, and your dark circles aren't noticeable at all. :D
Woah, that is a lot of brushes! This is my fave series :)
Glad to have you back Miss Tati! I've really been liking the smokey under-eye look you've been going with lately it looks great :) Still thinking of you and James and keeping you in my prayers!

Love the smokiness under the eyes. Doesn't accentuate any dark circles at all.
The Sonia kashuck no.29 brush has been my FAVORITE BLUSH BRUSH EVER!!! I can't believe you mentioned it! So cool and exciting:)
Being confused about loads of types of brushes .. this video of yours was so helpful n informative ...thank u tati again love u 💕

This video sent Tati to the top of my trusted UA-camrs list.
i love the elf concealer brush for lips too!
Your concealing game IS strong Tati. I was thinking how gorgeous your eye makeup looks with it so smoked out. x
Hi Tati! Can you tag other makeup gurus to do a makeup graveyard series? I enjoyed yours so much, and would love to see what others would do.
it looks amazing when you have shadow underneath the eye, DOES NOT draw attention to dark cirkles. you look stunning and fresh. love that blush on you !
you look absolutely beautiful in this video! love the makeup and hair
Please do highlighter next Tati!! Love your videos so much! Cant wait to see your makeup collection!
Thanks for being so honest about sigma brushes!
this was PERFECT!!!!!!!! i love that you were honest about sigma... most beauty bloggers have nothing to say but good things but you were just flat out honest... thank you!
I love love love this makeup graveyards video tati keep it going!
Got it. Don't buy Sigma Brushes... hahah, glad I haven't purchased any.
I hear you girl! They are overrated!
That basically what shes saying😂 i was going to buy alot of sigma brushes online but now.. Nah
+Taylor Jones Sigma recently switched to synthetic hair, so I think they are a lot better now.
Morphe brushes are really good for a really good price! Sorry random I just wanted to say it!
Your hair is soooo beautiful Tati!!
Before you even mentioned the smoked out under eyes, I was thinking about how alluring they looked. The look is great on you Tati!
Wow thank you so much for this. I was thinking about investing in sigma brushes after hearing every other youtuber rave about them. But I am definitely going to put my money to better use! Thank you so much for your honesty Tati, really saved me from wasting!
Am so surprised you don't have any more Real Techniques brushes. They are all amazing! The buffing brush gives a flawless face.
I love this series. Also, I really like your top. It is really pretty.
Omg tati, you look sunning and flawless, welcome back
I'd love to see you do brow products next! Love these videos!
I love this series! I am a brush junkie, so I enjoyed seeing what you liked, didn't like and why.
