I spent quite a bit of time growing up in homeless shelters, and as a teenager and young adult, I would always see boxes of beauty products come into the shelter that was meant to be for us, but they were never ever given to us. Once I even asked one of the workers about it, and she said to me " you have enough problems to worry about, Makeup shouldn't be something on your list of things that you want or need, and that's one of the perks of me working here, is that I get to keep them" ☹️. That was the case with almost anything that was brought into the shelter. Clothes, make up, shoes, and even food sometimes. it's because of this that I have always wanted to Open and run a shelter, so that I could do things differently.
I hear that. I have done some volunteer work at a women's shelter and I noticed a lot of the items I was donating went home with workers. I was not happy about that. I ended up making and delivering care packages of clothes and sundries for specific women I knew were there so I knew they got the items. That is a shame how people can be so selfish when women who are battered and their children are discounted for not "needing" something. So classless. I donate all my stuff to the Animal Shelter Thrift Shop. I know the cause is awesome and I doubt the workers are allowed to take things because they have all shop activity recorded on video. Unwanted make-up I give to my friends and family any more.
xpaintitblack7x unfortunately there are far too many people in this world that do those kinds of things. One of the shelters I stayed in was for victims of domestic violence, and when Makeup came into the shelter one day the lady said to me "isn't it your pretty little face that got you into this position in the first place" I cannot even begin to tell you the horrible things that were said and done by people who worked in these type of environments, that were supposed to be there to help us. Most of them, not all, but most, we're only there for the paycheck, and whatever goods were brought into the shelter. I think it is a great idea to research the places you donate to, and even to ask if you could distribute the items yourself. They may tell you no for privacy reasons, but I suppose it's at least worth a try. Bless you for your kindness and giving to others❤️

I may not have a big fancy house, or a big fancy car, but I have a beautiful family that I love very very much, and a career that pays the bills. To come from the circumstances I came from to the life I have now keeps me very very humble.😊

I wouldn't say that Tati has become bratty. I would say she has just become more open to us. She shows the pr and the excitement that comes with it. She's down to earth and honest. So she has friends in the industry she is in.... where is the harm in supporting and usong them. I am certain if they where awful she would say. So much hate. She is so strong for reading the hate. Last time I dropped a highlighter my husband screamed at the same time I did, but he was worried about the carpet while I was weeping over my highlighter 😳 not even a pricey one. It was one of my new Nicka K ones. But still!! I hate losing any makeup I buy that way.
Unless they smell really bad or change colour or something gross happens to it then you should be fine. At least that's what I do because I don't always believe in expiration dates for makeup😂😂
naked heat is beautiful on deeper skin tones. a lot of neutral pallets barely show on my lids bc they're this weird in between shade that doesn't look good on me. but naked heat rocks.
Rashmika k I love the naked heat palette pale as I am it still looks fab. It’s not my everyday go to palette (naked 3 is my daytime go to palette) but I love heat even on my warm toned fair skin I can make it work. I just wish it had a inner corner highlight shade. Then it would be perfect but I just use my highlight or a pale gold shimmer kohl pencil.
I am pretty pale and normally wear cool tones but I was pleasantly surprised at how good the Naked Heat looks on my skin tone. I don't use it as much as others but I still use it frequently.
@@helenlangford9367 how do you make the naked 3 work? Apart from the two deeper metallics a lot of the colours blend out to look the same or blend out to look nothing like thier swatch and the lighter colours don't show up and are chalky.
Looks great on my light-medium skin tone, too. I have auburn hair with gold highlights, and my skin tone is yellow based. Cool tones make me look sick.
I don't see how people think she's changed, she's stayed true to herself, people are just mad that she is succeeding. She probably is just now feeling secure with herself or is finding her true self and the people that are hating need to reevaluate themselves.

k ray creams and liquids expire quicker. Powder products last longer with a 6-24 month shelf life. However, I keep things longer as long as they don't smell or look funny.
I LOVE the Naked Heat palette! It's actually perfect for Fall. You don't even have to make "fiery" looks with it. You can create some gorgeous smokey looks with it, and it looks FANTASTIC on green and blue eyes.
I don't know why people are hating on Tati lately... She deserves everything she gets and she has never been anything but positive and consistent! Love you Tati ❤️
People want honesty and when Tati give them honesty they hate. People ask for so much from youtubers like they aren't f-ing human beings. Tati is always trying to spread the love, people need to learn how to let go and spread the love instead of hate.
When a person is becoming more comfortable about her own opinion because she has more audience to listen to her reviews, some people will quickly judge them as "becoming fake each day" or "trying so hard to be funny" and "Brat". Tati, you're still wonderful. I like how you put an effort on making your videos, especially when you make daily makeup checkups to see if a product is still okay, because coming up with a video more than 5 times per week is definitely difficult. That just proves that you love doing this, and you're passionate. So as her audience, let us not feel self-entitled on what she loves doing. She started UA-cam not because we told her to do so. She keeps making videos not because we dictated her to do so. She's doing what she's doing because she loves it, and I definitely enjoy it.
Jasmin Pajarillaga 100% agree with your post!! I especially hate when people call her "spoiled". She's worked her whole life to get EXACTLY where she wants to be and her "fans" should be happy for her. Reading thru her comments have made me more mad for the past few months because of all the hate she's getting but seeing posts like these make me happy. I almost feel like I must be applying my eyeshadow incorrectly because my palettes never get that smudged up (but her eyeshadow always looks better on her than mine does on me....) Now I want to see what it is she is doing with her brush!
Karen Johnston I believe most of the smudges occur when Tati is using her fingers to swatch things as she swirls her finger in it. I think for regular palette users with a brush they won't get as messy 😊

HOW CAN WE PUT THE EYESHADOWS BACK TOGETHER?!” It was hilarious because he knows me well enough to know That’s my favorite palette and that I was heartbroken! I keep my swamp queen palette stashed away carefully so that doesn’t happen!
He just got me some new ones for my birthday, so I retired that one for a bit until I have the time to put it together But if I can’t put it back I’ll repurchase it. Last time I dropped my foundation and broke it he got me a new one. So yeah I’ll either put this one back together or get a new one if he doesn’t beat me to it.
No criticism for anyone here, especially not Tati. I didn't start watching UA-cam regularly until the beginning of last year. Tati was the first person I started watching...every single video. She has it all...charm, grace, beauty, generosity of spirit, etc. We all have changed and will continue to change. Tati offers so much variety in her videos. She also gives some of the very best eye makeup tutorials, whether it's an everyday look or a total glam look. Having James take part has been wonderfully entertaining and cute as can be. Tati seems sensitive so please be kind. As a child of the 60s and 70s I'll say, make love, not war.
Tati, omg I'm so glad you talked about The Naked Heat palette, I do like it but, it has four identical shades as The Jaclyn Hill palette. Absolutely identical. I think for the price The Jaclyn Hill palette has much more of a selection for a better price point. Love you Tati.

Linda Mcchlery yeah I was nervous about the colours too but find they are super complimentary to my blue eyes/pale skin! If you love warm tones I would say it's worth the money. It cost me $83 AUD and I still think it was worth every cent!
i'm south east asian so i'm more tan/darker than many asian girls in the beauty industry but i heard that the naked heat palette was great for brown girls and it's so TRUE. every single color complements my skin tone so well and it made me so happy because it's rare that every single color in a palette looks good on my skin!!
Hey Tati! I was looking at skincare at Ulta and I saw something I think would make a great WTF. There is a $120 wrinkle treatment from Peter Thomas Roth that has diamond dust in it and supposedly gives resulted in up to 3 days.
Is it me or the packaging of the viseart palletes looks very cheap, simple and leaning to drugstore range? I mean I don't question the quality, just an observation about the package.
Pine Apple a lot of times they put expiration dates on powder products because it might not be what it once used to be. If you're worried about it being clean, just spray it with some rubbing alcohol. The biggest joke is the 6 month expiration date on the modern Renaissance palette. Hell no im not getting rid of that! Lol. I've had it for a year already and it's still fine
I've been watching Tati's videos for 2 years now. Not the longest, but she has gone such a long way and grew into an amazing confident youtuber! Yes, she has changed - she is more confident in her reviews, sure in her opinions, funny - and I can see that coming from all the testing and trying out all the makeup in the game. I can see how her editing changed, her lifestyle changed a little, but she has worked really hard for it so I am really happy. Stop hating on her. We will see if you remain the same when you achieve what she has.
Her full time job is to review and demonstrate makeup. Of COURSE she has a ton of pallets, just like someone who runs an in home daycare has a lot of toys and restaurants have a lot of food.

If you remove the silver part from the colourpop palettes you can actually fit 10 in there! It's just glued down so you can basically rip it off from the magnet beneath.

Amber Leitl I thought I was wrecking it when I did it, but it worked fine. When I tore the top part off (it was really hard to get off and came off in pieces), the magnet part came out too. I had to rub the top part off the magnet, and then I superglued the magnet back onto the cardboard. It looked really bad for about 5 minutes . . . And then success!
I saw now that they weren't all silver, I thought they were! I had to press down on the magnet part and lift the soft top part off, the glue is in little stripes so I could just peel them off. But as Erin said, if you accidentally rip the magnet part off too you can just glue it down again!

Tati! I would LOVE it if you did a new video on makeup revolution after testing out their blush/highlighter/bronzer palettes, lipsticks, chocolate bar palettes and more! I've heard great things about them. I feel like the first impressions video you made a while ago wasn't very objective, and while those types of videos can be fun too, i would love to hear what you actually like and dislike in general from the brand. Ive tested a palette from them that has 4 highlighters and 4 blushes and I love it!

Roquette it is a great palette. Just cause she didn't like it doesn't mean you won't! I use mine every single day and it's about all I use! I have a bunch of others but the pigment and quality always makes me gravitate towards that one!
I'm tossing out my opinion on Tati "changing". I think that what we're actually seeing is Tati becoming more comfortable with herself. She's behaving more like herself not less. Also if you've been watching Tati for a long time or have gone through her video collection, you're watching a woman go from her mid/late 20s to the mid 30s. I'm a year younger than Tati, and thank goodness I've changed since my 20s. People change, but most of us don't take daily videos of ourselves for others to judge if we're the same exact person at 34 that we were at 27. So, yes I think that in her videos Tati has "changed" but I think it's a result of being more comfortable with just being her goofy, makeup obsessed self.

I bought it on sale at Sephora mainly because I was excited about the packaging and ended up really liking the shadows! The colors are working very well for me (except maybe the grey that is a bit sheer on me) and they blend nicely. I also would have liked to know what Tati had to say about it.
Tati said before on her channel that she isn't going to mention two faced anymore. Their quality has been going downhill fast according to some reviews, and it sounds like there might be some shady business stuff going on with them as well.

I absolutely love Tati and everything about her but I don't understand when she says about how she has very fair skin. I struggle to find foundation for my pale skin and if I do find one that kind of matches, I always have to mix a white foundation in with it. Katie Pearse it's because she uses self tanner. She is naturally way more fair than she is in this video. I personally think maybe a tad too tan. I think fair skin is gorgeous
She was just on vacation for 10 days in the Bahamas. You're going to get tan if you do that. Ordinarily, even using fake tanner/bronzer to warm up her skin, she's not that dark.
For all people whinning about Tati not giving her used palettes to subscribers just imagine all the troubles she could get from an unsatisfied person or people just complaining that the palette they got doesn't match their taste or their skin tone or they got pimples blablabla. Tati is absolutely right not giving them away.

Yasmin Le comte wondering the same thing. The shade and light matte pallet and it's complementary shimmers pallet are not even on her radar it seems. I'm not into shimmers in general but I am absolutely in love with the matte pallet.

naked heat is beautiful on deeper skin tones. a lot of neutral pallets barely show on my lids bc they're this weird in between shade that doesn't look good on me. but naked heat rocks.

It’s not my everyday go to palette (naked 3 is my daytime go to palette) but I love heat even on my warm toned fair skin I can make it work. I just wish it had a inner corner highlight shade. Then it would be perfect but I just use my highlight or a pale gold shimmer kohl pencil.

I am pretty pale and normally wear cool tones but I was pleasantly surprised at how good the Naked Heat looks on my skin tone. I don't use it as much as others but I still use it frequently.
@@helenlangford9367 how do you make the naked 3 work? Apart from the two deeper metallics a lot of the colours blend out to look the same or blend out to look nothing like thier swatch and the lighter colours don't show up and are chalky.
Looks great on my light-medium skin tone, too. I have auburn hair with gold highlights, and my skin tone is yellow based. Cool tones make me look sick.

k ray creams and liquids expire quicker. Powder products last longer with a 6-24 month shelf life. However, I keep things longer as long as they don't smell or look funny.
I LOVE the Naked Heat palette! It's actually perfect for Fall. You don't even have to make "fiery" looks with it. You can create some gorgeous smokey looks with it, and it looks FANTASTIC on green and blue eyes.

When a person is becoming more comfortable about her own opinion because she has more audience to listen to her reviews, some people will quickly judge them as "becoming fake each day" or "trying so hard to be funny" and "Brat".
Tati, you're still wonderful. I like how you put an effort on making your videos, especially when you make daily makeup checkups to see if a product is still okay, because coming up with a video more than 5 times per week is definitely difficult. That just proves that you love doing this, and you're passionate.
So as her audience, let us not feel self-entitled on what she loves doing. She started UA-cam not because we told her to do so. She keeps making videos not because we dictated her to do so.
She's doing what she's doing because she loves it, and I definitely enjoy it.

Karen Johnston I believe most of the smudges occur when Tati is using her fingers to swatch things as she swirls her finger in it. I think for regular palette users with a brush they won't get as messy 😊

No criticism for anyone here, especially not Tati. I didn't start watching UA-cam regularly until the beginning of last year. Tati was the first person I started watching...every single video. She has it all...charm, grace, beauty, generosity of spirit, etc. We all have changed and will continue to change. Tati offers so much variety in her videos. She also gives some of the very best eye makeup tutorials, whether it's an everyday look or a total glam look. Having James take part has been wonderfully entertaining and cute as can be. Tati seems sensitive so please be kind. As a child of the 60s and 70s I'll say, make love, not war.

If you're worried about it being clean, just spray it with some rubbing alcohol. The biggest joke is the 6 month expiration date on the modern Renaissance palette. Hell no im not getting rid of that! Lol. I've had it for a year already and it's still fine
I've been watching Tati's videos for 2 years now. Not the longest, but she has gone such a long way and grew into an amazing confident youtuber! Yes, she has changed - she is more confident in her reviews, sure in her opinions, funny - and I can see that coming from all the testing and trying out all the makeup in the game. I can see how her editing changed, her lifestyle changed a little, but she has worked really hard for it so I am really happy. Stop hating on her. We will see if you remain the same when you achieve what she has.

If you remove the silver part from the colourpop palettes you can actually fit 10 in there! It's just glued down so you can basically rip it off from the magnet beneath.

Amber Leitl I thought I was wrecking it when I did it, but it worked fine. When I tore the top part off (it was really hard to get off and came off in pieces), the magnet part came out too. I had to rub the top part off the magnet, and then I superglued the magnet back onto the cardboard. It looked really bad for about 5 minutes . . . And then success!
I saw now that they weren't all silver, I thought they were! I had to press down on the magnet part and lift the soft top part off, the glue is in little stripes so I could just peel them off. But as Erin said, if you accidentally rip the magnet part off too you can just glue it down again!

I'm tossing out my opinion on Tati "changing". I think that what we're actually seeing is Tati becoming more comfortable with herself. She's behaving more like herself not less.
Also if you've been watching Tati for a long time or have gone through her video collection, you're watching a woman go from her mid/late 20s to the mid 30s. I'm a year younger than Tati, and thank goodness I've changed since my 20s. People change, but most of us don't take daily videos of ourselves for others to judge if we're the same exact person at 34 that we were at 27.
So, yes I think that in her videos Tati has "changed" but I think it's a result of being more comfortable with just being her goofy, makeup obsessed self.

I bought it on sale at Sephora mainly because I was excited about the packaging and ended up really liking the shadows! The colors are working very well for me (except maybe the grey that is a bit sheer on me) and they blend nicely. I also would have liked to know what Tati had to say about it.

Really loved this video. I'm watching this 4 months later because I really want to buy a good palette and this video definitely helped! And Tati, I don't know what you do to your skin but my god does it look gorgeous! Maybe that's a weird compliment to give, but that was a thought I just kept having during the video, it just glows. Your tan, the dress, your make up, and then the simple ponytail but with a little accent on the tie, I just can't. I've been watching you for years and I just don't understand how you get more and more beautiful, it's unreal.
I absolutely love Tati and everything about her but I don't understand when she says about how she has very fair skin. I struggle to find foundation for my pale skin and if I do find one that kind of matches, I always have to mix a white foundation in with it. Tati you're definitely not fair skinned, you're beautiful and tanned ❤️ Awesome video btw x
Katie Pearse it's because she uses self tanner. She is naturally way more fair than she is in this video. I personally think maybe a tad too tan. I think fair skin is gorgeous

She was just on vacation for 10 days in the Bahamas. You're going to get tan if you do that. Ordinarily, even using fake tanner/bronzer to warm up her skin, she's not that dark.

Yasmin Le comte wondering the same thing. The shade and light matte pallet and it's complementary shimmers pallet are not even on her radar it seems. I'm not into shimmers in general but I am absolutely in love with the matte pallet.
If she only opened them 2 days ago on snap she might not have tested them yet, or this video could have been filmed a couple days before she got them.
She probably hasn't even gotten a chance to test them yet, so maybe they didn't even make it into the drawer yet
