i just wonder what makes all of their music so catchy and memorable, head-bobbable
星界に「星になれない摩天楼」と歌わせるのか
声優交代した弦巻マキに「新品未使用のあたしに勝てやしない」と歌わせたのを思い出してしまった
摩天楼ほど大きくなった気持ちを取り壊してとこしずめって事か。心の中と実際の摩天楼の真ん中に空いた穴をリンクさせてるのも上手くて綺麗な曲だ。

The shortest song we've listened to so far. An reoccurring element is that the right guitar is a lot more melodic, while the left guitar is more grounded. This new vocaloid(?) still retains the monotone style, but it sounds more playful and lost. [Edit: It's SEKAI from CeVIO AI, completely different from VOCALOID.]
There is a feeling of indecisiveness or obscurity. The song will rapidly switch the mood from mystery to uneasiness. There isn't as much intensity here compared to other songs, but it definitely feels more mysterious. 0:53 has this very sudden transition to 1:01. Interesting difference at 1:01 is that the guitars switch their parts. Compare 0:11 and 1:01 and listen with headphones.
The part after the chorus (0:42) feels unsatisfying on purpose, it's unclear whether the girl was successful or not. The little pause at 0:47 makes it even more unclear.
However, one thing is clear. Starting after 1:22, the song doesn't have any abrupt transitions, now it starts to flow together. 1:58 doesn't have a pause unlike 0:47. The post-chorus (1:52) now feels a lot more complete due to the what we listened to 20 seconds ago.
An interesting detail at 2:07: the girl's eyes open, perhaps she finally remembers/found that one thing?

*the original japanese uses "けない" which means "imperial lands", assuming i understood correctly. It seemed incredibly metaphorical to me. Given the context of the rest of the song, I assumed the "emperor" is whoever the speaker is talking about, so that person's lands. Where they are mentally, what they have, things like that.
**might not be a plural "you and i", it could be "i". so instead, it'd be "Shall I just leave my name behind?"
***The word "虜" has connotations of being like a prisoner/slave/captive to someones (like one's own or someone else's) love, so even though it wasn't stated, i assumed it was implied.

床(とこ)のイメージって『横』になる場所の感覚が強いけど、『縦』も意識した楽曲の内容になっているのが面白い。
夜空も地球にいる私たちから見れば、昔の人達の考え方からも分かるように、平面的に見えるし見る。でも、宇宙はある意味私達から見て縦方向にもグングン広がってる。
心の穴も同じで、大切なものがなくなった時、とても大きな穴がポッカリと広がっているように感じる。ただ結局のところ、欠けているのは「失った分」だけであって、大きいようで大きくない。
その代わり、どれだけ年を重ねて身長が伸びていっても(縦に伸びても)、失った所は残るから心の穴は空いたまま、縦に深くなり続けるのだと。そんな風に個人的に感じました。
