You know, I hope I am wrong about the ZL1 1LE being gone/not being made anymore. But the details dealerships are getting and the allocation number tell the story of gone forever. Car has been on constraint since late 2022 and they did get old 2022/2023 orders out, but the plant holding lots have been also absent of ZL1 1LE’s for months now.

@@wildandblueZL1 while I stated that I also stated that may have changed. Apologies I don’t make videos the day I hear the information, 7/28 was a few days back. That is also why I stated call your local dealer and see what they have available.
@@wildandblueZL1 for the last three months on a weekly basis I have a gentleman who snaps photos and send them my way. Are used to be 50+ ZL1 1LE’s viewable. And just about every photo over the last two months there have been none. But I standby. Jim is no longer going to accept any new orders for those cars.
@Lethalgarage thank you lethal. Videon chevrolet contacted me last Thursday they received a 2024 camaro zl1 allocation. Kinda disappointed I passed on the allocation for msrp in hopes of the track package.
I reached back out to dealership today. Come to find out they couldn't find some one to place a order and the dealership had to do a dealership order. 😥 wish I new this information last Thursday ugh.

Mate black is old news and not my thing. I don't like the fact that they charge extra for a dull black car; give me more power and performance.

@@camarochris78 They do it because they are lazy and want to make easy money. Look at the 70th Anniversary, C 8 R. They are just stickers and badges they apply at the factoy and charge an extra $3k to $5k.

I've been a gm guy and have worked for gm for 18 years. I have a 5th gen zl1. I think this send off if pathetic. Look at dodge with the swinger package and the COLORS!!!! COLORS!!!!!!! Need I say more........ bad move Chevrolet bad move

So glad I picked up my 2023 ZLE in transit off the truck last Sept.
I knew I didn't want to take a chance waiting or ordering.
This makes me look like a genius lol.
Yeeaaaa...this Collector’s Edition ZL1 has ZERO "Wow" factor.😖😕The Matte paint just looks like a wrap or makes the car look unfinished or just Primer. No additional options, no power or suspension upgrades...NOTHING!!....GM dropped the ball BIG TIME on these last 6th Gens. Not to mention, it's DEFINITELY not worth an additional 15k more than a regular ZL1. 👎👎. Getting my 2023 Z was a smarter choice and glad I didn't wait for this DUD to come out..disappointed in GM is an understatement. 🤬🤬
I bought my 2021 Camaro SS 1LE knowing that they are going to end the Camaro run. Why Chevy did not keep the best sports car for the money is beyond me. I love the looks, the way it drives, and of course the fact that it is a 6 speed. With only 3200 miles on the odometer, the car will hold its value.
🤞I got an offer I couldn't refuse for my 22.I hated to see her go but it was time to move on.

I visited the dealership a week ago and the manager stated they have NOTHING regarding the 24’ model.
All they had was a blue 23’ SS convertible.
In the end, he said “Keep the Camaro you have”…..I’m thinking he’s right..
Matte Black.. 🤔 I’m feeling old here but it look like they forgot to paint it.. I guess what I’m saying is matte black looks like primer.. when I was growing up people with matte black or satin hoods was people that couldn’t afford to paint their hoods to body match what they just bought in a JC Whitney Catalog….but that’s just my opinion.. have a wonderful day and keep putting up those good information and content.

Chevy literally murdered this car. Your not even guaranteed a car if you order one. The casual buyer who would buy a Camaro is not gonna play all these games, they’ll just buy something else.
I got into a 24 2SS 1LE build that was accepted and starts build in 2 weeks and someone backed out of it. feel like i got pretty lucky.
The matte black is a BUST…talk about a HUGE disappointment. Glad I still have my 17 ZL1 Hyper Blue which to this day still gets compliments!!!❤️❤️
I'm sorry but if I buy a new car the color has to pop for me and that matte/flat color just doesn't do it for me!
Chevrolet should just keep the Camaro in production and it’s gonna be a big shame if they discontinued it

Hey Bro, this is a good info video for all of your subscribers. I ordered a 23 ZL1 LE back in March and had been waiting for allocation from the dealer only to find that they were having big issues with parts for the LE. My dealer got with me and we brainstormed what was missing and it wound up being the constraints were on the rear wing and the suspension parts for the LE mod so I built it with everything but those items that can’t be gotten. So we ordered the ZL1 back in April (end) was in production in the beginning of July. Now it’s stuck in Michigan w the VIN and hasn’t been transported nor will it till September!!! Ugh. Was supposed to be here by the end i of July. Btw I got the burnt orange metallic
Its a shame GM ended the Camaro like this. 😶

Well...there goes my hopes for my 24 ZLE 😮💨 Im #42 in the Camaro line at my dealership. Looks like 2024 Camaro's are being made from the leftover scrap shelves. How unfortunate.
I’m disappointed with GM, they did awesome work with the Gen 3 Camaros and Firebirds by adding upgrades to the 1990-92 cars with spoilers, ground effects, and interior upgrades before switching to the Gen 4 models.
I seriously hope GM will bring back the Shadow Grey color and classic styling cues.
I only care about the collectors zl1 just because of the VIN specifics of the paint and package, resell down the road or collectability

I ordered a Riptide Blue 2SS a couple weeks ago, still waiting on allocation at both dealerships (pretty good sized stores). Hopefully, I actually get one of them! I’m 2nd in line.

I just had my allocation come up for a riptide blue c8 corvette. Riptide blue was on constraint and I had to pick a different color

My 2024 3LT convertible Collector's Edition order is 3000 status with a 9/18 TPW. Manual with all available options... I'm in Indiana
Ordered my ZLE in October of 2022. Dealership called saying Chevrolet has permanently accepted order. Just waiting to get picked up for build. Really hope I get my car.

Why would anyone buy a matte black painted car? I can't beleive some of the trends that people follow. Black wheels are another trend that I don't care for. Buy what makes you happy. I think Chevrolet could have made a much more attractive "Collector Edition" car. It looks like Chevy didn't really care about ending the Camaro.
I think what GM neglected to do with the 2024 Camaro is lame .... nothing special at all, NO HP increase, No rear gear ratio options , etc ..... very disappointed , but I do see they had the balls to increase price ...
The dealership I usually buy from has a 2023 2SS hardtop with the 1LE package ..... only $54k, 10-speed Auto

Matte black is neat, but it’s like the old cars that had leather for the front seats for the driver and cloth velour in the back for miss daisy. Leather was seen as a more durable less luxurious material and now in modern day, It’s flip flopped.
I tried to get ZL1 but can’t find any dealers with one around my area so I will be keeping my 2020. It’s sad
For the most part , contrast color looks better than all one color . Cars the same color as the street are hard to see , expect people to pull out in front of you more often .
I wish they would give us something in regards to a 7th gen. Something to let us know that one is coming.
As much as I would love to see the camaro stay alive, I'd rather it end than be bastardized into a EV and/or sedan.

My dealership just called and said they aren't making the track package for the ss either... you have to be kidding me. I'm assuming that's what that means? I've only seen that the ZL1 1le was having issues. So now the ss is impacted by that? I'm so confused because they aren't giving out jack shit for info.
Spent 3 hours at the dealer re working a new 24 camaro. They told me their is a 20% chance the car gets the track pack put on. The ELSD, Satin forged rims, satin rear blade all couldn't be added. They couldn't even tell me what part is on constraint. They also told me that they took away the employee discount for everyone. They also are charging more for the same parts that was on the 2022 and 2023s. So, now I have my original order in plus a backup order. Track pack is pretty important to me and I may just go get a automatic 2023. Wanted a manual, but without the track pack is looking impossible now...GM is shitting the bed...

Just got my 24 zl1 in riptide blue accepted
I feel bad for all the guys who have been waiting on their ZLE orders. I was going to place an order on a 23 ZLE last December, but lightning struck and my guy at my local Chevy Dealer got one in that was ordered for another customer. The buyer backed out and I was able to swoop in and grab it at MSRP with no mark-up. I got extremely lucky....and to think, I almost didn't pull the trigger on it because it wasn't the color I wanted. I'd be pissed right now if I had passed on it! They are incredible cars. I'm so sad to see them go.
I usually don't like black cars..but man..this looks sooo good! Definetly its Black Panther's car! ZL1 1LE looks even better than Corvettes. Its a pitty GM didn't give it a final edition as it should. Anyway..in 8-10 years..or less.. they will bring it back, probably full electric or who knows..but it wont be the same. Good video bro! 👏
I've been offered a SS CE allocation in SoCal from a dealer I had originally asked about a ZL1 CE. Not sure if I will pull the trigger, but I am in conversation expecting the build details. I've specifically asked for which transmission the car the claim to have coming.

I'm happy with my 2017 ZL1 convertible modified to 760 HP at the crank.
Did they dyno the motor out of the car?
@Lethalgarage Yes I it was 643 Hp and 614 torque to the wheels on the dyno. It has a 10 speed trans tuned. It's a great ride as you could imagine. CSP in PA the best, tuned my ZL1.

Can't wait for our 2SS (minus 1LE) goes on the assembly line. In Florida, you are not able to check on your Event code without doing it through your dealership. So we will just have to bug them every once and a while to see what event code our 2SS is at.
I also feel the matte black finish is a sad color package for the final year. The likely “no more” ZLE package does make me feel extremely glad I got my ‘22 ZLE M6. I believe my ZLE is going to just skyrocket in resale value as these cars end production.

Im a sales man in Cumming Chevrolet in San Diego and i can tell you i confirm no orders have been issued for Camaros we at least have 2SS camaros but im waiting to see what my GSM does about these new 2024

We’re more than likely about to strike which will halt production unfortunately…BUT…GM may extend production for this reason.

Probably for the same reason why there was a strike in Ohio a few years ago for GM closing the Ohio plant. Which I believe they built the cruze and a few other models there.
They are probably going on strike for the Camaro being discontinued because it takes jobs away. It just goes into a downward spiral from there, economicly. Granted they are still building the CT4 and CT5 at the same plant as the Camaro.

I saw a recent article by GM Authority which stated they planned to produce MORE ZL1s for 2024 than they did for 2023 so there is that. 😁

@@killercamaros7429 a sticker package car has never been valued by collectors, not like most Camaros that actually fetch good money. Like a Gen 1 COPO or a ZL1 with the original 427. Those are ‘rare’. Nothing about the 6th Gen is rare. Hence why I think a 2014 early low miles Z/28 is going to be rare vs. any of these cars.
Maybe I’ll be wrong here, but history shows sticker packages have never been highly valued over special motors, or specific builds.
Glad my 2024 2SS convertible is at 3400 order status and I was hoping to see it before Labor Day. Just sad I couldn’t get the satin black front splitter and side rockers package, I will have to go aftermarket for that .

You are able to order the SS 1LE, your dealer just needs to have allocation for an SS and GM have the availability of the package

The mat black is mehhhh. There is some dealers in canada that have the zl1 collectors edition incoming and they have basically said its up for bid. I got my 2022 zle and i love that damn car. I will never sell it. Sad days in the best time for muscle cars.
