Thank you for posting these episodes, Ashley. These bring back the best memories of my formative years; especially because my watching Emergency!+4 taught me things I've actually used to save lives years later. That's not to mention that Jason, the leader of +4 Squad, the original Community Emergency Response Team or CERT looked like me & representation matters to a boy or girl. I show these to my (grand)children not only to show a positive image, but also so they can learn things that save lives.
At around the 4 minute mark the sweet sound of a 2-stroke dirt bike motor & the awesome power band sound. As a young teenager I use to own a 1982 CR-80,1987 YZ-80 & a 1995 KX-125.
Very good job fellows!! Reminds me of the series Emergency with the voices of Roy Desoto (Kevin Tighe), & of course Johnny Gage (Randolph Mantooth). The cartoon & series bring back a lot of memories.
I haven't seen this for nearly 50 years LOL Until recently, I had forgotten about it completely. I remember that NBC aired it on Saturday mornings at the same hour as the Star Trek cartoon.
was a huge fan of the emergency tv show and have been watching all over again on fetv. never knew about this animated version until i was researching producer r.a. cinader. very cool
I remember watching this show on TV as a kid - I must have been about 5 or 6. I still watch the live action show on Cozi and FETV when the opportunity arises. Those two guys were walking disaster areas weren't they?
Hi Ashley, I've been watching Emergency on Cozi TV and loving it, and just found out about this animated version. Two questions - 1) Do any of your videos here have the original PSA announcements with the real-life Johnny and Roy, as they were aired back in the 70s? 2) Do you have any episodes of Sierra - the TV show about the park rangers from 1974? (I have 5 of the 12 episodes, and finding them is harder than the proverbial needle in a haystack. I would gladly trade for the episodes I don't yet have). Many thanks!
I discovered Emergency on Netflix when they still carried the show. Unfortunately, I do not have the PSA announcements from Johnny and Roy. I definitely would have included them if I did. I also do not have any episodes of Sierra. I will start looking around though. If/when I do, I will upload them here. I am also in the process of trying to acquire another episode of Emergency +4, but I have only been able to find reels. The one I am looking at getting has a price a little higher than I am willing to pay. Wish these were more readily available.
@@TheGodofMustard I would be DELIGHTED if anyone posted episodes of "Sierra"--I think the few episodes there were made me want to grow up to be a park ranger! I wish you "good luck" in your search for those episodes.

Hi Anthony, unfortunately, these are the only episodes I have been able to find. I am bidding on another episode on ebay. I will then have to get the film transferred to video and upload. I would like to get them all eventually. Thanks for watching!
It's April 17th 2022 Easter Sunday and iam chilling off today watching this
Never could get over teenagers being allowed to follow around a Rescue Squad and paramedics.
I thought the same thing!
I started volunteering in EMS when I was 17 and it did me a lot of good.
Emergency and Star Trek also The adams Family three of my favorite cartoons from the 1970s
These should be on DVD
A shame we didn't get cameos from Drs. Brackett and Early. Dixie, too, of course.
This is the only tv show I know of where the MCA Globe bug in the end credits did NOT lead into the scary Universal tv logo just seconds after.
I was waiting for the Gorn to be there instead of a ram. Also, the +4 the precursor to CERT.
So this is what you get when you cross Scooby Doo and Emergency? 😂. Lol.
And spiderman
Man, it was a groovy time back then!
Thank you for posting these episodes, Ashley.

Johnnys hair was a lot neater in this cartoon than live action show

Then half a century ago as now, I learned a lot of things that could save lives.
Emergency!+4 is the best cartoon in cartoon history
I love how it's like a mini episode of the live action version.
Only one word for teen boys like that... Punks. -.-
"Idiots" is more apt

Recreation time(Johnny in a dune buggy)turns into a rescue.
Johnny met a snake 🐍 in the cartoon weeks before "Snakebite".
Omg I didn't know this existed! It's awesome!
9/8/1973.Seventeen years before & Four Months before "Operation Desert Storm" would exist.
And Daphne from Scooby Doo is guest staring!
What a horrible camping trip. Good thing they had EVERYTHING they needed and probably more...... "RIGHT ON!!!"
I knew this wasn’t a fever dream
I dont remember this I was 2 when it came out. I just now found this

My childhood memories I haven’t seen this in years
Danger was everywhere! And I never saw such ingrates as those two hooligans.

Astoundingly cool job!!!
Best thing on UA-cam
Man- Emergency+4 is really groovy.

A bird, a monkey, and a dog. Huh. And 4 uncertified teenage kids assisting trained paramedics on medical emergencies. Ok.

Did not know about this series. You can't suck out poison with your mouth. A snake bite kit with suction works.
OUTSTANDING! Do you have them all? How did you find these?
Egregious animation error at 11:31-11:34, how did nobody in post production not notice the top of the cel was showing
