This anime was so good, really. This girl's arc was particularly good. Find herself in a world with worse morality and harsher rules than her own. You think that she's going to either be corrupted or break, but this magical girl from the sweet little world is as close to pure good as anybody gets in that show. The voice actress was also pretty darn good. That last scene will always give me goosebumps

FYI, this anime is Re: Creators, where the premisse is about stereotypical anime, manga and game characters end up going to the real world while they keep their powers. It has a lot of talking, but its pretty good. The thing about this scene is that this magical girl was originally from a shojo anime for little girls, Sailor Moon style, so the people she fights are usually one note villains who always get defeated and there's never any collateral damage, but starting with this interaction everything she believed in starts to fall apart. Its great.

Heck, Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss wiped out a parallel universe in the manga. And that wasn't even her strongest attack. Imagine if she _wasn't_ the peaceful fun-loving Usagi.
Usagi in canon brought her friends back from the dead and saved the Earth multiple times while still in middle school. And by the time she's an adult, she saves the Earth again, this time eliminating war and illness, turning the citizens into almost immortals, and becomes queen of the planet while ruling for 1000 years and presumably many more to come.
Adhnin Zul I agree! The weird echo-effect they did with her voice while quieting the music completely was a good call. Hiroyuki Sawano did the music for this show and he’s and absolute GOD when it comes to music.
I didn't even know about this show and for some reason that scream made my eyes wet. Maybe I knew she died after that. For some reason I related her scream with elfin lied and god that anime hurts in the wrong place.
One thing that annoys me about anime is how guns and explosions are practically harmless. This girl creates a blast equivalent to a small uranium bomb and everyone she points it at survives with less than a bruise. Meanwhile, edgy mcedggerton with her fancy knife powers racks up a kill count to make her girlcrush blush.
You also forgot that the opponents she uses her powers on arent typical humans, they were respecitive heroes of their worlds who were blessed by the gods in their respective universe, so they have high protection as a blessing
Well to generalize all anime under your bias is kinda stupid. considering not all anime have the same storyline or setting. this kind of blast could either be 1) lethal or 2) barely able to cause a scratch depending on what genre of anime it is. Likewise, guns are useless in lets say, jojos bizarre adventure where the main protag of part 3 shoots himself only for his stand (manifestation of the soul) to catch it and cause no harm. but for a slice or life anime, idk, a gun is probably gonna kill people.

Magical splash flare would be something like: マジカル スプラッシュ フレア (not quite one syllable/char) - works out to about 11 syllables, 3 of them for 'flare'

Cindy Yang no they are just as destructive, but as it is a kid show, they probabaly turn it into a comedy thing or there are big explosions but everyone just stand up a bit dizzy and nothing is really damaged. It's really common in kid show.

The idea that she’d have trouble understanding her attacks do permanent harm is funny to me, because nearly a decade earlier, Fresh PreCure literally made it a plot point in multiple episodes that only one of the girls had a special attack that didn’t do lasting harm. (Most of the monsters of the week were made from inanimate objects, and they were usually visibly bashed around and lightly charred when they turned back)
I think what’s really cool is the contrast between when she says it in the beginning compared to later In the beginning she’s obviously saying it with innocence not knowing what it really means like a regular kid should, but once she really understands what it means to have such power she really puts her all in what she’s saying Like it goes from Shojo to Seinen if that makes sense 😂
Her intro scene was so good. Coming from an anime that's all cutesy and no one dies, she was so confused in the real world of the actual destruction that she caused an almost killed the red hair.
The area where she detonated that was an abandoned place, though seems impossible for anyone not to notice that I’m sure that the government CAN cover it up if done right. I mean if they can cover up an 80m tall mech landing on a river in the middle of a residential area I’m sure they can cover a small nuclear-sized explosion.
If only the show didn't devolved into the battle of OCs and that fanfiction characters are better that the ones from an original work, the show would have been great.

This anime actually pulled me back towards watching anime, the animation is great, the sound effects are close to perfect, i want a seconds season, but i know the story is already closed. Maybe a spin-off about Meteora or Magane would be amazing.

If only the show didn't devolved into the battle of OCs and that fanfiction characters are better that the ones from an original work, the show would have been great.

This anime actually pulled me back towards watching anime, the animation is great, the sound effects are close to perfect, i want a seconds season, but i know the story is already closed. Maybe a spin-off about Meteora or Magane would be amazing.
